What a nightmare!!!
I bought the best bbq they had the grand turbo with the side burner fat cleaning glass burning covers, fridge paid from memory well over $7000 worth.
I contacted last March that’s (1 year ago) cause the lights wouldn’t work, no follow up call, no contact unless I called them. Months go by no contact. I follow up with the store at Caringbah ..... someone will call you.......
No customer service finally after 7 months they send someone out to fix it but cannot cause it needs a wiring harness, that’s not available so I asked for a replacement bbq as this one’s not fit for purpose, no we are ordering one won’t be long I’ll get back to you!
Famous words, no phone calls I follow up multiple times and someone from customer care will get back to you. It will be rusted away by then!
What a bunch of cowboys, finally booked in for first thing today so it could be done and I go to work so I organised to have time off work to accomodate and now cannot do it he has to pick up the parts. Enough!
Give me all my money back and take the lot back and store it with your customer service.
How you lot still in business I don’t know treating customers like this! I’m the guy who never complains but you broke me 11 months 2 weeks shallow promises not delivered on, and still another promise your a joke.
After I called again yesterday cause I waited all afternoon for my call your now going to get back to me today to tell me if your going to give me back my money! I think I have more chance of winning lotto than that! Give me my money back! Now post that and not with your “only 4&5 star ratings!

We had a Ziggy Portable barbecue with…
We had a Ziggy Portable barbecue with which we were very happy. However the control knob became stuck. I think someone may have forced it and it was not feasible to obtain a replacement part. As we were going away camping in February we decided to purchase a new Ziggy Portable barbecue as we were very happy with our original barbecue. We were advised that a new stock of the Ziggy Portable barbecues had arrived in Australia but were held up on the wharf, due to Covid-19 restrictions. We were advised that delivery to the Store could take 2 to 3 weeks and we would be notified by phone when the barbecue was in the Store. We were advised on 5th February and we called in the following day to collect the new Ziggy. The whole exercise was very satisfactory.

Very helpful salesman
Very helpful salesman. I liked that he was ready to talk to very knowledgeable about products, friendly and down to earth. Great service helped put items in small bit on a very hot day and the white time he was smiling and having a joke with us. Very happy will be back for some of those bbq success and sauces 😁

BBQ galore Kotara staff were fantastic.
When my BBQ was delivered by a BBQ galore contractor, that is when the service fell to dramatic lows.
I requested and paid for delivery and installation.
What I got was just that. Then had to pick up foam packaging, plastic, cardboard and strapping that was just dropped all over my pool area and I was told goodbye. I may have accepted it if it was placed neatly or wrapped up, but no, just dropped and left to fly over my pool.
Pallets to get rid of and waste. If you are a Edsel person or a person that cannot get rid of this amount of waste, be careful!

Paid for delivery and installation of product. The product had been delivered on time, however there were missing pieces and the delivery team is yet to install the product. Product has been left in a box outside exposed to rain and yet no sound from the store on when the missing pieces and installation will be completed if at all.

At this point in time I can highly recommend Barbeques Galore for the way they transacted the sale of my Ziggy BBQ.
What a friendly team...
My Salesman was not put off when I told him that I have owned an opposition brand for 30 years, he continued to explain the features and benefits of the ZIGGY. We then went to see the other brand at a nearby store...hard to find a sales person...Lacking in product knowledge...and their BBQ quality inferior to ZIGGY. So back we came to BBQ GALORE...our salesman greeted us with a smile...we then discuss price and ten minutes later we walk out with our ZIGGY BBQ under our arm. $5,000 RUNAROUND…
In August 2020 we bought a $5,000 Zeigler and Brown BBQ from BBQ's Galore, Caringbah. Selection good, staff helpful....but there was no trolley (the unit the BBQ sits on) in store.We suggested that they provide us with the (damaged) one on display and replace it down the track when they get a new unit in.
That all happened and the unit was delivered about 10 days later. Then came the follow-up...from us.
September phone call.."Not here yet"..October phone call.."we'll chase that up..." November phone call..."We think it should be available later this month"...December phone calls.."We'll chase that up and call you back" They didn't....
Today we rang again and a nice young man tells us there are several in the warehouse and we should be near the top of the list...WHAT!!!!!! WE ARE at the top of the @#X*ing list...since August 2020.
At no time did anyone ever initiate contact with us. Regular promises of provision of the unit... "within the next few weeks" We spent $5,000 to get the run around for nearly six months!!!!
Needless to say we won't be buying anything ever from this store again. The only reason we gave it 1 star is because there is no "NO Star" rating.
update.....
Thanks to Matt who, after our call on Monday, fixed the matter within two days! Well done Matt!!!!
Still, the question remains, why did no-one else in that store follow this matter up without our regular badgering? It shouldn't have to be the customer who brings about a solution to problems caused largely by the companies woeful after sales service.

Best to deal with a specialist rather than a general retailer. I dropped in to Barbeques Galore Malaga just before closing. I had previously been to Harvey Norman who had a very small range. The sales lady (Cheryl, I think?) who greeted us was amazing. Very knowledgable in her field, passionate, professional, patient and accommodating. I was happy that I chose to visit a specialist, rather than just buy from a general retailer. Would definitely look to buy an future BBQ needs from these guys.
