I ordered an Xbox back In Nov. 2025 for a Christmas gift for my son. At the time they were running a promo, get two controllers and games included so I got it. After opening the gift for Xmas discovered they sent me the wrong Xbox! After submitting my info. they reached out to me, then lost my claim and told me to send everything again. Second time around I only took pics of the Xbox since that's what was wrong. I was sent the wrong Xbox a second time, with no wires, controllers, or games. I sent back the wrong Xbox and finally got the correct one in March! I didn't get any controllers or games. They are now telling me the order never came with multiple controllers or games and unless I can prove it with pics or order info I can't get a refund or the additional items. Since it's taken so long my email and pics have auto deleted. When they sent out the original order info. they only showed and included the Xbox, with one controller. When I sent back my original order to them it weighed 9lbs 5oz. A single Xbox and controller with cords won't equal that amount that amount shows there were other items in the box. They can't or won't pull up the original order they received from me. When you call the # it's the same person answering every time. You never get a call back from them, only email responses. The one time I did get a call was an accident as I could hear adults and kids talking. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM AND FRAUD

Wow i really messed up not doing my research more on this company before ordering. dont make the same mistake I did and stay far far away. They send you fake tracking labels to think your issue is being resolved, just so you dont do a chargeback in time. Absolute garbage service.

This place doesnt deserve a one star, it’s just a tourist trap.

This company is run by scammers so be careful of your information. Stay away from their websites, they go by Retro vGames / RetroFam. Do not trust them scammers. If you have already ordered from them and have any issues with your order go file a complaint to your state attorney general or state of consumer protection office right away. It will take at least 10 complaints to get immediate action and attention to stop this company from existing. Again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Stay away!!! Look elsewhere.

I ordered an "official", blue, Sony PS3 controller for $42, but instead received a cheap, Chinese knock-off (which is also offered on their site, but for $25). I emailed their help, who requested a photo of the controller I had received, which I immediately sent. Since then (10 days hence), I've heard nothing and have had my emails, voice mails (nobody ever answers the phones), and website form submissions ignored. This was a bait and switch if I've ever seen one, and I have since put in a charge dispute with my bank. Their one-year warranty is worth nothing if they don't respond!

Ordered an N64 along with 4 controllers and 4 games. Received the N64 and cables in about a week an a half in a beat up Amazon box and a bit of bubble wrap. A day or 2 later I received the 4 controllers jammed into a soft envelope so and feeling lucky that the only damage I see is one fairly large scratch on one controller. It's been 3 weeks now and I'm still waiting for any of the games to show. Goldeneye was supposed to be included in the bundle so seems odd that its shipping separately. I contacted support and after a week I got an email back stating that everything was coming out of different warehouses and they included tracking numbers to the two packages that I have already received. I note to that the shipping packages have labels from different sellers and not from RetrovGames.

I bought Pokemon Emerald for nearly $300, it turned out to be a fake. They will not help me out with replacing it or getting a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

I purchased a backwards compatible PS3. Arrived late and A regular one was mailed to me. Customer service was almost non-existent. Refused to refund my $60.00 insurance for the console because it now applies to the extra controller I purchased. A nightmare, buy cautiously.

Stay away from Retro vGames! The website gives you hope that you can purchase hard to find PS3 controllers, but when I ordered 2 of them, I instead received cheap Chinese copies that were nothing like the originals in the picture. I emailed them multiple times with my concerns and it was ignored. I initiated a dispute via my credit card and about 2 weeks later, Hafiz finally responded and claimed that the switch was a mistake. I don't believe it for a minute. He required that I send the controllers back even though they are not worth the price of shipping. Since he provided a prepaid shipping label, I packed them in the same flimsy padded envelope in which I received them, but I was very disappointed that their attempt to scam me resulted in so much of my time being wasted. I should have read more reviews about Retro vGames and I would have found many like this one. I hope this will help others to avoid my negative experience.

Ordered an Xbox 360 model S with a hard drive. Console got delivered with no hard drive. I called 3 times, emailed and submitted a ticket 2 times and hear nothing. Now less than a week later, the console does not even turn on anymore. I still have heard nothing back at all

Here's my experience with retrovgames. I ordered a wii bundle kit and several games totalling over $800. It took over 5 weeks to get the complete order, and that wouldn't have happened without many emails complaining about their lack of competence. Gave this as a birthday gift (late obviously). The first time wii was turned on, it wouldn't load game disc. I sent a video showing the issue and never got a response from retrovgames. I finally bought one from Amazon. If youre looking for one guy taking your money, shopping on ebay and having items shipped directly to you.. this might be the "company" for you. That's my experience with retrovgames.. take from it what you will

The listing, nor my order summary, for the Xbox 360 Slim that I purchased did not mention anything about the system being modded. I did not want a modded Xbox. Since the unit was modded, it could not connect to the internet, and had serious connectivity issues when using LAN connections with other devices. I requested to return my whole order, per their return policy, and have yet to receive any kind of update about how I can return the defective product, or if I can get a refund. At this point, I assume they are just running out the clock on the 30 day return window, and don’t intend on allowing me to return the product.

I wish I had seen these reviews before making my purchase. I purchased a Wii bundle kit which came from different vendors apparently. The Consol does not work, so I have no idea if anything else works. I called and emailed the issue I was having. I did get a call back asking me to send a video. I sent the video, but have not gotten a response nor will they answer my call or email. I will report this to my credit card company. It is such a shame that there are people in this society that make their money suckering other people rather than trying to do a legitimate business. Karma is a _____!

Absolutely horrible! Its been half a month and still haven't received my package. Never sent an update or tracking number. I had to call them to find out it was lost in transit and make them put in a reorder slip. I STILL DON'T HAVE MY PURCHASE! I will never use this company again!

Purchased a Playstation 2 paid extra for memory card and controller. Received a Playstation 2 from an ebay seller meaning they gave my information to someone not from their company(nowhere on their website states that). I did not get the controller, memory card or any of the power or av cables. The item is disgusting and there are bug parts in the ports so i wrapped it. After i contacted support they sent ne the power cable and av cable but again no memory card. I was told I had to plug playststion in to make sure it works...umm no because there are clearly roaches in the console and i requested my money back. They have refused and are now not replying back to my emails. Do not waste your hard earned money with this company.

I ordered what I thought was a Nintendo new 3ds xl but when it came in it was a LL and I look at the post again and have to scroll down past the picture that says it’s an XL and the title that clearly says Nintendo New 3DS XL and past the payment option to find out that it says it’s a Japanese LL variant that was modded to English. Plus the ds came in rough shape and for over 300$ I expect something a little better. Customer service was no help either and said that they clearly state that it’s an LL which they don’t and they won’t let me return it even though I’m within the 30 days for returning it. What a joke.

Bought a ps2 and San Andreas bundle payed 314$ for the items and faster shipping. 6 days later order still processing. Cancelling required “admin” approval. Their phone number goes to a voicemail but never a person. Called my bank to dispute the charge. Don’t buy from this scam site!!!

If I could give a -1 I would. Purchased a PS3 console on Feb. 6 and didn’t receive it until Feb. 27. Hooked the console up, put in a game just to find out that the disc reader wasn’t working and that after on 3 minutes of turning the console on, it was extremely hot. Called the “customer service” number and was informed to put in an email what was wrong and that I wanted a full refund. I then was told that it was going to take up to 72 hours/6 days before I got a response from anyone about the refund. Called “customer service” back and could only leave a voicemail even though I had an option not not, kept call after sending another email and let them know that I was going to get in touch with BBB about their lack of communication and interest about resolving issues with their products and finally talked to someone only to have them tell me that if I don’t hear back from someone in another 48 hour to call back! I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST DO NOT DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS MERCHANT!!! They are incompetent and do not believe in customer first!!!!!

This company is horrible to purchase from. Packaged game system was broken in many places. There was plenty of bubble wrap to completely wrap the item several times but they just threw it all in the box. The website advertised specific colored controllers and I got random colors. Was missing a controller. Imagine my daughters face seeing her system in shambles when opening the box. The customer support phone number just goes strait to an answering machine despite being within operational hours. The company isnt BBB verified and I should have know this would have been my experience. This company SUCKS!
