I have been with CLC since 2018 and have had 5 holidays with them no issues at all.
During pandemic they extended our membership for another 18 months(Trial).
It was actually cost effective over the last 5 years.
Got to go USA in a great apartment.

CLC is a scam.
It's not a company to use at all. They are not fair to customers.
Their trial is TIME SHARE which is not boldly explained at the point of sale. They mis -sell, they are readily available on .
And you never get availability to book your preferred holidays as advertised. Such a joke. They are always fully booked, turning customers down,so how are customers expected to book.
Thousands of customers have paid £5k which cannot be used and eventual they take innocent money. Which company dose that.
Since 2019 thisands cannot book and all you get is rude customer service operators who are being paid from rip off money and no reason for why holidays cannot be booked.
CLC Trial Membership is a complete scam. Signed up in 2019 at cost of almost £5k and no chance to get a holiday booking. I was told I have to use 2 years booking slot and customer service person repeatedly said he cannot create availability. There seem to be no respect for trial members after you sign up and they get their money. It is frustrating and you would be better off planning your private holidays. They are fully aware that it is almost an impossible mission to get holidays booked at the destinations they use to beguile people into these trial membership. Although I have not received service from my purchase, they are refusing to refund my monies. I am coming across a significant number of people in the same situation and mobilising together to expose this Scam os under consideration.
Excellent holidays taken with my in-laws from another country best of our memory is with Costa del Sol and the amazing staff we meet each time we visit also visited regal oaks in orlando and had good time there twice
We joined in 2019 and have only managed to book once. As trial members, they tell you, you can only book a year in advance. When you do, you can never get a holiday. Our trial membership ends next year and I’m very sad and annoyed that we might lose our holiday. Oh and it’s impossible to get Florida! And when signing up they always calculate how expensive it is to book Florida and how affordable theirs will be. Meanwhile you will never see Florida! It’s a scam!
We've been with them since December 2019 and have never been able to book a holiday with. We were told we could book online, do cruises and all sorts.

We have owned since 1993. Never failed to get a holiday at a date and place we wanted. The only continent we have not visited thanks yo CLC is Antarctica.
Started my Trial Membership in 2019, we have only been able to take 1 week since we started our membership, and every other time have been told there is no availability during the holidays, although we were assured by the CLC representative who sold us our membership, there would be availability during the holidays as my kids are still in school. CLC won't offer a refund, and I am thinking of taking legal action.
Stay far away as possible from this joke of a company biggest scam going spent over 5 grand on holidays and they have only let me go on one,the staff are trained to say no once they have your money
We have been members for 12 years and have no regrets. We have upgraded a couple of times over the years and now have a Signature Suite apartment. We tend to swap it in for points and tend to get four holidays a year, and take friends with us. We have traveled to USA, Kenya, Italy, Spain and UK using our points. We do not have children and can use the last minute deals. We tend to book up using the offers, which then gets us the quantity of holidays we want. It absolutely works for us, and the second holiday for 2023 is only a few weeks away
One of the Biggest mistake of our life as family to take CLC membership. Since 2018 we have paid almost £5000. £1000 more than we should have pay but still can't get any resort booked. We are keep getting told that resorts are fully booked and our only chance to book resort is 2024 or 2025. We already lost 1 holidays. We had 6 holidays now we have only 5 left.
Not to mention. This money is only for resorts, Flights food, breakfast and any spa, out door activities are other expense. I have figured it out that if we manage our 5 holidays booked total expenses can go between £12000 to £15000 depending on how many we will be able to travel. We can book up to 6 but so far we have offered only 2 holidays 1 is uk canal boat and one in Turkey far from sea side only for 4 people. For those who are thinking to book holidays with CLC bear in mind you will end up dealing with above nightmare. When we didn't had clc membership we used to go at least 2 holidays in a year abroad and few in the UK and didn't feel financial burden and no stress. But since clc membership all we have earned financial burden and zero holidays in 4 years. Don't fell in the trap of friendly and softly speaking salesperson. Don't fell in the trap of Mark and Spencer vouchers. You can go take Marks and Spencer vouchers but do not sign anything unless you can afford at least 10k.
this is honest experience I am sharing as took this trial membership with lots of false promise which not written anywhere in TC...This is review to CLC where they offer free first holiday by buying their membership...I wish I could have get them in written before brought this 5 week in nearly 5K...Paid money upfront and booked first week straight away on Spain without any argument..... but after than, all the time have struggle to book holiday and still one week remain which I am trying to get during school holiday and nothing is available or not one seems to look into it. They not expend my one week which left until they found location and I also loose one week by exchanging to Interval international....so, beware of plenty of warning, if you think, Interval help you to book your holiday but they are complete separate company so, once you exchange, CLC put their hands up and not going to help you to secure anything with Interval so, eventually you will loose your week when it expire with Interval and I have lost one week with them and Interval also not offering all the good resort while working with CLC, they only offer those which not filled by their customer or left empty or last few remain with worse quality.....during this time, I have found also, you get better of to book your favourite destination by your own with booking ticket well in advance because, if you planning to go Europe and if they offer last minute of availability after 4 month of waiting than, you end up with last minute expensive ticket of whole family so, it end up with same cost by booking in advance with cheap flight and quality accommodation. There is lots of evidence I have on my email which I wish I could share or some one take this to court and close them down with this dodgy dealing from sales people....I am still hoping my one week they can book and offered me well placed holiday to close my membership with good end....

This company is a joke I've been a member now for 4 years and have only managed 1 holiday in this time. You can never get through to talk to anyone. If your lucky to talk to anyone there is never any availability anywhere. Total rip off. Please don't go anywhere near this. Its taken me 3 months so far and still no answer or call back.

We took out a trial membership to get better experience as stated in signup and it’s been 3 years we are trying to get a holiday week in Tenerife / Uk / Portugal. Initial 1 week complementary holiday was also cancelled by clc and no availability of resorts in Europe across uk school term dates. I would have not signed up if I was told you can’t go on holiday during term holidays. This is a rip off of a company whose sales team promises so many things and you never get a start to that dream / promise. People will be better off booking other package holidays at least will not be at the behest of these not so helpful travel team. Looks like it’s organized rip off company.
Why my review has been flagged? What document do you need? I have all the documentation you required about the scam CLC World. I join CLC world in 2019 and I have been only twice on holiday with CLC world( I stop going on holiday with them because is impossible to find the rooms as the promise ).

First of all, I want to state that we have had a few holidays with CLC. When this has been possible, the resorts, services and staff have been excellent. But unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We took out a trial membership sometime ago and eventually decided not to take on a full membership. At the sales presentation, what CLC failed to tell us was that with a trial membership you have two significant limitations:
1. You cannot use the online/website booking portal to search and book rooms; and
2. You cannot book anything more than 12 months in advance
With two constraints, we have tried several times to book resorts in Europe, across any of the CLC resorts, and never managed to get anything.
Please be aware of this when looking at a 'Trial'CLC membership.
When we first joined Club Lacosta they asked for feedback after visiting one of their resorts. They no longer invite comments and we can see why. We have been to Kusadasi 4 times, starting from the year they opened and finishing today. This year was by far the worst. To save space I will itemise:
1. Wyndham policy - dreadful. Guests must pay in advance for all meals and drinks at the resort. I have never come across this imposition anywhere else, ever.
2. Reception - poor. Made a mess of our closing account, mixed it up with another guest in another apartment.
3. Porters/shuttle drivers - very good, polite and efficient.
4. Condition of apartment - very poor. The fridge/freezer didn't work and was not fixed during our stay. Plates were hidden in a lounge cupboard and no glasses except wine glasses.
5. Cleaning - poor. Mid-week clean left the place dirty and did not change bed linen.
6 Oaks restaurant - poor. Food was not well prepared.
7. Soke restaurant (main buffet) - good. Some excellent fish and meats if you looked for them, A bit noisy because of its size.
8. Golf Club restaurant - poor. Fillet steak was rump or sirloin, salmon overcooked. Only a few wines available.
9. Pool staff/lifeguards - poor. Started work late, allowed rowdy behaviour in pool, tried to "close" pool at 5pm.
10. Entertainers - good. Did their best to get some party spirit going among younger guests.
11. Spa - good. Those of us who had treatments found them effective.
OK, I think you get the idea. Despite some good points we won't be going there again.
This is a massive waste of money. We are Trial members. It takes forever to get through to anyone, when you finally get through there is NEVER any availability, despite calling 12 months ahead to book. They offer me dates outside of school holidays and to destinations I don’t want to go to. In addition to this, we didn’t read trip adviser reviews on the various CLC accommodation options before we committed and upon looking at the reviews it has significantly limited where we are prepared to travel to as the reviews are incredibly poor. Do not waste your money. I have now raised a formal complaint with them and am seeking legal advice.

Pay a price to go on as many holidays over a set period and send you to a place where you can't enjoy your holiday. Why is this place still doing any business is beyond me. You might want to look at a different accommodation for your customers!
