We went to Spain 26th Sept x given a 3rd floor appt asked Renata in reception can we move to ground floor.
She was so helpful, lovely people great holiday.
I decided to go back 16th Oct with a disabled friend, Katie from reservations was fantastic so very helpful she arranged everything a disabled person would need ie walk in shower, ground floor near pool area was wonderful.
Beatrix x Renata organised an electric wheelchair for my friend also, there was not much open on the site which we expected however snacks x alcoholic drink was free although limited choice we were happy 😊 thankyou all we will be back next year yay xxxx

It takes over an hour to get through - that’s if your not cut off. No one ever calls back.
They sold us 5 weeks + 1 free. £4500
We wasn’t able to use any of our weeks as we HAD to use the free week first even though we didn’t want to go to Spain. We wanted to go international but was told NO. We must use the free week first.
So that’s what we done booked Tenerife paid a booking fee - this was cancelled due to covid. Which I appreciate.
They have now taken our free week off of us due to part of the company folding - HOWEVER I can use one of my remaining weeks for exactly the same place. !!!!
And no news of my deposit that I paid for my free week …
Trying to book a week away with these is near on impossible, dates are rarely available.
I continued to pay the finance on this all throughout covid - even though I went through financial hardship my self - when I applied for a ‘payment holiday’ they declined me because my previous month bounced - due to covid. So each month Iv found the money and stayed supportive of this company. I wish I hadn’t.
As soon as my 5 weeks are up I will not be booking any more with this company.

I’m writing this complaint as an existing member of CLC World
I booked a short break for my Parent and family member which as turned out for them to be a break from hell and very stressful for myself as I’ve had to deal with these problems from the UK.
Firstly my Mother was moved twice on her short break.
1, The first room was damp and dirty and you entered and left by some indoor Carpark.
2, They were then moved a second time due to maintenance problems with pipe work.
3, The 3rd accommodation was very nice and the standard expected if it was only for the last night of their short break.
4, On checking out my Mother had a fall she’s ok but as a bruised swollen leg and its from the accident at the complex all her return flight documents got wet in the process
Which the person on reception seen so you would think they would have printed new paperwork not just say when they checked it, it would be ok.
When they arrived at the airport they would not accept the paperwork as it was unreadable due to water damage and the time I sent new paperwork through they checked in but missed the boarding gate which could have been avoided if printed out at hotel reception like they did in the first place when I sent to the reception via email.
Javier from hotel reception called me this afternoon to check if my mother was ok, I explained I was furious with how the short break had gone for my elderly mother and disgusted with the way they have been treated with the standard of rooms they were given only to get it right on the 3rd attempt the day before departure which Javier agreed was not acceptable.
5, My Parent and family member are now in an Hotel near the Airport as I’ve
Booked new flights for tomorrow which as all come at an extra cost which could have been avoided by just telling them the paperwork would be ok and sending elderly lady’s on their way which the paperwork was clearly not ok by the water damage.
I have also traveled to Tenerife as a trial member Resort Paradise
Before you buy in they show you 4 star accommodation don’t be fooled when you you have paid your money and start using your membership you get nothing like promised.
Best advise take your free holiday then don’t be pressured into buying into membership you have been warned
CLC Members Services have now replied and basically tried to undermine and refuse any responsibility of the issues raised.
(Like I said previously just be warned) if your thinking of becoming a member.
Had a call today from CLC and they have given me a full refund and admitted that it was not acceptable.
This company should be given a wide berth. They suck you in with slick marketing filled with untruths. They pressure sell to potential customers which is fine but what they tell you at the presentations is dripping with falsity. Imagine paying nearly £4500 and 21 months later not being able to use it at all. Imagine calling this company numerous times and the 'customer service' being so poor that you are left frustrated and despondent. That's what this company does. I work hard and to see my monies disappear is outrageous. Will I get my money back? What do you think? The only thing I can do now is to go the legal route. These type of companies must be stopped.

In august 2019 I paid almost £4500 for a membership with CLC. Since then I am unable to book any holiday with them. They have no availability for most of holiday destinations. Wherever it is available, they have so many terms and conditions. They try to discourage trial membership.
Their customer services are pathetic. No one picks phone. You have wait for hours. When they connect they just tell reason why holidays cannot be booked. This is robbery. I am looking for refund.
Totally rubbish and useless services.
0 out of 10 They talked us into a time share worst thing we ever agreed to every word out of their mouths has turned out to be a lie. 13 months notices to book a hoilday starts off cheap then you get hit with hidden charges to them you are just a payment never ever ever again will I listen to their lies.

Arrived at CLC Paradise today at 12 midday, told room would be ready @4, travelling since 4am. Came to reception @ 4 still won’t be ready for at least another hour!! No offer of refreshments or anything to compensate for the inconvenience. Absolutely appalling!!!
I joined CLC Options in 1997 and changed to CLC Faction Club a few years later. I gave back my membership in 2013 due to CLC no longer providing what we were provided with when we first joined ie exclusive holidays. When we first joined we were told we would have exclusivity, with No worries about having to rub shoulders with the typical 'Brit abroad' holiday makers. However, this started to change when CLC started offering 'taster weeks' to anyone, as a means to raise more funds. This really did impart on both who we met and availability of resorts, which basically meant all in Spain or Turkey and out of season. The final straw was when we went to Kusadasi Golf & Spa resort in 2012 when in the bar we heard a group of young men boasting about the 'cut price deal' they got for 23 of them to go to the same resort via CLC's holiday rental division. In fact we were paying £1700 a year in maintainence and membership fees by the time we left, and only being able to use the points for a week in most CLC resorts. And since leaving we have stayed at a number of CLC resorts by booking through online holiday companies at a fraction of the cost, including flights etc than with staying with CLC.
Take my advice and avoid CLC lime the plague, especially as it's UK arm has gone into administration and the rest no looking too good either.
We signed up in feb 2020 after “winning a free week” we signed up to the Trial Membership. After spending last year through Covid being told we couldn’t go anywhere other than Tenerife/Spain for prelude we couldn’t use our full membership offers. Then in January 2021 after rearranging our holiday due to Covid restrictions a 3rd time we were told we couldn’t use the Prelude but can use full membership (assuming this is to do with the sales side going bust?) and on the 2nd being told our resort was changed to Paradise as Monterey was closed. Again we had to move it and have had to in total move it 6 times, I understand and appreciate some of this is out of their control however suppprt other reviews about communication I was told at sign up we could book online-not true for trial members therefore have to ring up and have long delays and often passed to different departments.
We currently booked for September however I am now to learn (not direct from CLc) but through trip advisor and then the hotels “Your Guide” to say the resort hasn’t got it’s mini club, restaurant, mini market, mini golf or jacuzzi open… so no where to eat or entertain just a bed for the week (shocking)! I have not been advised of places to eat nor informed they are shut… if a resort is open surely the restaurant should be at least!
I am certainly looking into options with legs advise around my contract there is nothing in that CLc has been able to fulfill and offer us yet they’ve been paid by the finance company and we are still paying the finance monthly… any advise to pursue this will be appreciated!
Not worth the headache… we put it down to Covid mainly but looking at reviews this is not the first time people feel falsely sold, ripped off and under appreciated!
I have been a member with clc since 2018 and up until COVID I have nothing but praise for clc.I have had my membership extended for 18 months but it is impossible to speak to someone . I have spent over 8 hrs holding on their booking line on 3 occasions now , on the 1 occasion I got to speak to someone , I then got cut off while they were searching for my holiday . I assumed they would ring me back , they didn’t . I have left my telephone no. On 4 occasions in the last 4 weeks for a call back . They don’t call. Disappointed and waiting to be assured they do have customer service systems inplace . C

Worst experience. This is completely rubbish and cheating. They were not at all listening customer queries. whenever we want to book for holiday prior to 6 months also they do say fully booked and not available.....Please don't be in their trap....Please try to avoid.
I wish I had read these comments before I went ahead with the trial membership. I've been paying since Jan 2020 but no service has been provided back. I have called a number of times to see if I could use the short breaks in the UK but the 90day search keep coming back empty. You call them but everytime you get through to someone you are asked to call another number. Its been a joke so far - I've written emails to them but the response has been to just call the number and reserve my holiday. If only it was that easy. No recognition for the concerns I raised in my emails - just call and book?
How can they expect me to go ahead with the full membership if the trial is this bad but I also feel cheated on. I paid my fees no matter the covid (they didn't care and no support given) extending the trial is no good if I'm getting no service anyways?
Having been a member for over 15 years ,I have nothing but praise for CLC . I am sure you can holidays far cheaper but the reason I stay with CLC is due to the super service and quality accommodation you receive.

If you are reading this to check whether to use their service - straight answer to that is NO!
I have been on the trial membership they offered with a promise of 6 week luxury accommodation holiday where you don't have to worry about peak times and can be booked anytime over a period of 3 years. I have been regularly paying my instalments since September 2019 (150/ month) towards a sum of £4395.
Reasons to avoid
1. You cannot cancel this membership! All other industries offer you refund in case you have not been able to use the services. RIDICULOUS!
2. Due to Covid travel restrictions you cannot travel so I call to have a local resort booked. Surprise! No space available till end of this year. Forget promise of peak time availability, there is no availability! FRUSTRATING!
3. You are better off not getting involved and using your money to book things yourself with freedom.
4. Any questions asked, standard reply " I can understand your problem but we can't help you with that".
5. They are sticking RIGIDLY to all the rules and regulations which are never highlighted when they lure you into this trap. However, when you ask about the promises they made, they expect you to LOOSELY allow the COVID situation as an excuse for their ATROCIOUS service.
6. Already paid more than £2000 pounds with nothing used or gained.
7. Difficult to get through to them only to reach a BRICK-WALL.
I wont be surprised if they go bust and I lose all my money.

on my holiday we attended the 1hour meeting with the CLC holiday sales people. I was not impressed with the all time share investment, and all the service they provided trying Laure you into becoming a member. the manager told us if we were to sign up for the trial membership he would upgrade us to a GOLD membership, with this upgrade we could excess all the facilities as a full member, between £35.00 to £50.00 exchange from interval international. but it was all a LIE. when I called CLC customer service they said I can not book or exchange my weeks with hotels because I am not a full member and my exchange rate is between £125.00 to £139.00 per week. all a catch I'm looking for a solicitor can someone help?
Avoid this company, they take your money & then there is zero customer service. I regret ever getting involved with them!

First absolutely no value for money , we are members since December 2019 and many times we regret our decision.. We cancel our promotion holiday twice due COVID, so we haven’t used any holidays or services also flights, but they press us (calls emails) to pay twice service charge 2000 euros +monthly payments in this huge financial crisis (we have paid so much for nothing)! Even now when we are reviewing the options for future holidays... most of offers are certainly not worth it at all . Second is no way out which is really frustrating, I am definitely not recommending at all , if you any way decide to sign with them review the documents at least 3 times just to make sure and consider it carefully !!!
Don't be fooled. This is a timeshare business not a holiday investment.
Don't get sucked in to their lies. Once you sign up there's no way out.

Very Disappointed. We had a holiday booked at the CLC resort in Tenerife for May 2020. Flights booked on Ryanair and everting was in order. Since Tenerife was rife with covid cases, we had an email to say that the resort was closed and that we could transfer the booking. Admittedly this was the right and responsible thing to do. We rebooked for the 7th of May 2021 and paid Ryanair a lot of money to rebook. Unfortunately for us, the UK govt has travel restrictions in place until the 17h of May and even though we have had our jabs, we are restricted by law to travel. Called CLC this morning and was told that they could not transfer the holiday !! The company that handles the CLC promotions was in voluntary administration and if we could not make the date that we had booked, we had lost the holiday. This was devastating for my wife and me as we were planning on purchasing a timeshare at CLC in Tenerife. We paid a lot of money for the airline tickets and paid again to have them moved. The company policy of not allowing holidays to be transferred (although it's no fault of ours) is just not right and they have potentially lost a sale that would have benefitted them for years to come. Not happy with CLC. Time to look elsewhere for timeshare.
