Thank you for doing such a wonderful job with my shutters, im super happy with them 😁. The fitter was so lovely too, i had to delay a couple of times due to the work in my kitchen not being complete yet, and he was absolutely fine and assured me it was no problem. Thank you for your patience with me and the excellent work you carried out too 😁.

Perfect Fit Shutters

Ordered Perfect Fit Shutters and there was an issue with the cutouts for the handles not being included. Shane sorted it immediately though—no delays, no back and forth, just fixed it straight away. The shutters look great, the quality is excellent, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Really impressed with how quickly the problem was resolved. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely Poor customer service

Been having issues with this company since July 2025, had shutters fitted which went faulty within 1 week, they are sagging in the middle, now May 2026 and I’m on our 3rd set, which are also sagging. The company is now ignoring my emails, sent 2 emails 3 weeks ago and had no acknowledgement or communication in anyway. I have had to continually chase them and have numerous emails to prove this. They have in the past said my emails went into their spam folder so they are receiving them they just aren’t checking their spam on a regular basis. Which again is terrible when one of my main complaints has been poor communication. They have also now blocked my phone number as I’ve managed to ring and speak to them 3 times in the past but blocked now. Very poor customer communication skills and obviously have no intention of honouring my guarantee. Its interesting to see that on the trust pilot home page regarding this company it states that Yorkshire blinds reply’s to 100% of negative reviews usually within 48 hours, such a shame they don’t reply to customers that quickly. I would Not recommend this company in anyway.

Yes I’ve left 3 negative reviews over the last 6 years, but I can assure you I’ve used dozens of companies, been on an average of 4 holidays per year and over that period been unhappy with 3 companies, sorry that’s now 4 with yourselves!
So yes I’ve left 4 negative reviews but I’ve been extremely happy with the rest.
You haven’t mentioned your inept ability to communicate with myself, not replying to emails, not arriving for appointments on time, sometimes not arriving at all, not checking your spam, not knowing what method of internal strengthening was used on your last visit, the fact that you stopped responding and blocked a customers phone number even though there was an ongoing customer service issue.
I’m absolutely astounded at your response and I hope that people reading this will realise how bad your company is regarding customer service.

Your continued ability to blame your customer speaks volumes about your customer service we went on 1 month long holiday and gave you 3 weeks notice regarding this, you haven’t mentioned that you arranged to bring replacement units before our trip and then just didn’t turn up, we had to then again chase you on our return, also regarding ringing me. You managed to call me on the 24th of April 2026 with no problem, you also managed to send me a text on the same day, you also admitted in an email months before that your own system was the issue, because I’d opted out of marketing the same system would then block your call and text messages to me? So which is it? You either can or can’t call and text.
You also seem quite insistent to close all communication down regarding my faulty shutters on these messages, so what you’re basically saying is you do not intend to honour my guarantee, you’re also saying that you will not be paying any compensation. Again speaks volumes.
You also mentioned my neighbour, I think you need to contact them and take a look at the last shutter you installed as that too is massively sagging in the middle, but don’t take my word for it you check that out yourself.
You also seem quite insistent to repeat the fact that the shutters can’t be dismantled, but yet on your last visit to install the 3rd set of shutters in my lounge in order to make the controls on the left and right shutters pair up as I’d requested and sent a picture to demonstrate this you arrived with two lefts instead of a left and a right. You then dismantled one of the shutters and swapped the control mechanism round! So again you can do something when it suits you but when I request the same thing you refuse.
Again regarding my previous 3 negative comments on Trustpilot, for all the times I’ve been away, been to restaurants, been shopping, used coffee shops, used other companies for jobs around my house, stopped in numerous holiday cottages, you keep picking up on 3 negative comments over 6 years.
I await to see what else you can come up with to blame your customer as nothing seems to be your fault.

Again you’ve said you can’t dismantle the shutters but then said you did?

I just checked with my neighbour and they tell me you’ve not been in touch so I’m not sure how you’ve checked that their installation is as expected?

And as you say that ladies and gentlemen this is what I’m up against.

How long will this go on? I have an obligation to respond to feedback, yet you seem insistent on getting the last word. You have made your statement.
As mentioned previously, I will NOT be pulling the shutters apart to show you the interior.

We have supplied and installed three complete sets of shutters. We consider our obligations met and this matter closed. We will not be continuing this public exchange any further.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why we eventually stopped responding.
Despite three complete sets of shutters, multiple visits, and ongoing support, you continue to escalate demands while refusing to accept that the products are within normal manufacturing tolerances and fit for purpose. Your latest demand to dismantle the shutters for inspection (after previously receiving a half refund demand while keeping the goods) goes beyond reasonable customer service.
Key facts you keep overlooking:
You blocked our phone number during an active complaint, making direct contact impossible.
You were away for extended periods (including the one-month holiday you gave us notice for), which added significant delays to scheduling.
We have previously dismantled and adjusted mechanisms on site when it was necessary to resolve a functional issue (pairing controls). That is very different from stripping units apart for a customer inspection, which risks damage and voids the warranty.
Regarding your neighbour: we have checked, and their installation is performing as expected.
We have replied to 100% of negative reviews because we believe in transparency. However, there comes a point where continued engagement with a customer who is never satisfied, despite repeated replacements and concessions, becomes unproductive.
We stand by the quality of our products and installations. Thousands of customers — including properties connected to your own neighbour and his extended family — have been happy with our work.
At this stage, we consider the matter closed. We will not be entering further public debate on this review.

Two no-show appointments - not recommended

Have now had two failed appointments to measure for blinds. The first occasion we were told they found no one in when there was someone here throughout. Second appointment also a no show. Have had no messages of follow up or apology and can’t get through on any of the phone numbers provided. Complete waste of time.

Thanks for your response to my review, Yorkshire Blinds. Just to be absolutely clear, I didn’t receive a call from you this morning to confirm your visit in advance. And I haven’t spoken to anyone in your office today - let alone been rude - as I wasn’t able to get through on any of the numbers. Finally, if Halifax is outside of your catchment area then you only have to be clear at the outset it’s too far - which yes, is exactly what I do in my business.

Thank you for your feedback. We're a small business based in Bridlington, primarily focused on online sales and fittings for customers within our local catchment area. Halifax is well outside our usual service radius—over a 100-minute drive each way, making it a three-hour round trip that incurs significant costs in time, wages, and fuel (around £80 for the initial visit alone). We're not typically set up to handle measure appointments this far out, which is why we emphasize local service.

For the first appointment, we made the long drive out, but unfortunately, no one was home when we arrived—resulting in a complete waste of time and resources for both of us.

Regarding the second appointment, we called ahead to confirm before setting off, but there was no answer. We wouldn't make such a lengthy journey without confirmation, so we proceeded with other local customers who did respond. We did notice calls from you later in the afternoon, but we were occupied with other appointments at the time and unable to pick up.

We understand you spoke with a team member this morning and were very rude during the call. They may not have been fully briefed on the details—our apologies for any confusion there. That said, given the distance and our operational focus, it seems we may not be the best fit for your needs. Mr. Robinson, as someone who runs a garden design business in Hove, would you drive to London for an appointment under these same unconfirmed conditions? We wish you the best in finding a more local provider.

Would not recommend. Spent over £3000 on shutter blinds and electric blinds and almost 8 months later and 5 failed visits to correct the errors and still not right. So very disappointed. Poor and would advice caution if you do use them and don’t pay in full until satisfied. Shocking.

Ive just had my full house done with…

Ive just had my full house done with shutter blinds. I am over the moon with them! The gentleman was lovely from start to finish, and when there were a small problem i wasn’t happy with, he happily sorted it for me, which i really appreciate! Thank you so much for your fast and lovely service! Im so happy with my shutters.

Avoid not at all professional

My first appointment was supposed to be 1 week before.
I waited in from 5pm all night no one turned up. Tried to call Shane no answer ,then on recalling him back it kept going to the answering machine.
I would have been more understanding & grateful for an explanation as to why you couldn't attend an appointment that had been set up over two weeks.
Before this there was no correspondence as to when would be ready I had to call to find out & then get an appointment.
Trying to contact anyone in the company is difficult but once you get through they are helpful & polite. But no explanation as to why missing my appointment.
Was given another a week later, this time Shane did turn up but didn't have the correct tools for the job.
The blinds upstairs was flush to the indoor window frame & just didn't look nice, we did mention this & he mentioned not having the right drill hence why there. To be told he'd not got it on van & would have to come back another day. My partner had to lend him his.
So the blinds were put where they supposed to be.
Only problem then was we had a lot of plaster come away from the corner of the top frame. I wasn't told I had come across it myself to then be told ill sort it I have plaster in my van.
Went to van oh I don't have any I can go get it now or knock off cost which by this time we wasn't happy or confident in the ability of the job being done right so went with the small discount.
The kitchen blind stitching isn't upto standed & stands out.
I would definitely not use this company again.

Regarding the missed appointment, I sincerely apologise for the lack of communication and any inconvenience caused. This is not the level of service I aim to deliver, and I’m reviewing my processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

On the day of fitting, it’s true I didn’t have the correct drill for the upstairs blinds, and I offered to return the following day to complete the work properly. You preferred that I finish the job that evening, and I did my best to accommodate. When I discovered the plaster issue, I offered to go out and get the materials needed to repair it, but you opted for a discount instead.

I appreciate your honesty about the kitchen blind stitching, and I wish you’d called me about this so I could have sorted it for you. I always want customers to be happy with the finished product.

The worst experience I have ever…

The worst experience I have ever encountered with a purchase.
I ordered 12 blinds off Yorkshire Blinds, after shopping around they worked out around the same price overall as others - but the thing that swung it for me was the free fitting service they offered.
The first thing that went wrong was the appointment made to come and fit the blinds. They didn’t turn up, not for the first appointment made or the second, third, fourth, fifth. Each time I would stay in and wait for them to arrive, and they just didn’t turn up. They were never available on the phone, just didn’t bother answering. After the second missed appointment I was sure to ask them to let me know if they would not be able to make it or if any changes were needed to what had been arranged. They didn’t bother and missed the next two appointments.
Eventually someone did show up (around 4 hours late) with the blinds ready to install them. The installer had come without a spirit level, straight edge, or means of measuring – all of which were needed and so I lend him mine. The installation was completed albeit with odd brackets as he did not have enough of the correct type. Some were white and flush others protruded around 50mm and were black – it looked an awful mess. Two of the blinds were manufactured incorrectly and had to go back evidently, they didn’t bother checking before setting off. The brackets that were installed to hold the blinds up each have three screw holes but only one was used.
So then started a battle to get the replacement blinds back and the correct brackets. Many more promises and missed appointments until I threatened them with the small claims court. I got 8 of the 10 correct brackets and fitted them myself at the same time refitted all the others as they had already started to come loose and were no longer straight.
Horrendous experience, it is hard to believe they remain in business.
