I had been feeling overwhelmed with everything going on and hadn't had time to do my lawn. I was able to book my lawn service on Thursday and have it here by Saturday. Such a time saver and super affordable. The pro who did my lawn was courteous and professional.

Ricky did an amazing job on our lawn and LawnStarter made it so easy to find him!

Made everything so easy to set up and receive service. Had quite the challenging initial cut but they did it without hesitation or issue.

As a vender for this app, I created an account with lawnstarter about 1 year ago. During which I didn't take any leads because I was simply wanting to see how the app worked and functioned. Throughout 2023 as I was neared the end of the year I took 1 house at the end. The customer told me she canceled and when I improperly explained that in my report i ended up getting demoted in the app to red tier.

Then at the start of 2024 the real issues played out. Each time I serviced my clients property I never heard anything from them at all during the two months in the spring. I never heard anything from them through the app, so I wanted to speak to them in person which I managed to do so only to find out that they was no longer needing my service anymore. They was having a medic issue and couldn't afford paying anymore.

They then expressed how amazing the work I did was and hoped all those "Tips" they gave I received. I expressed to my client, "What do you mean Tips" She said yea I sent you like $5-20 tips every week because of the work you did. She was paying over $40-60 a every 2 weeks for all the awesome work I did. I finally told her that I didn't know this and I even showed her my earning each week and it showed that each week i was only making $25 - $27 total, Even after the Tip. She said that cant be right but i showed her all the weeks i worked and it showed I only made about $120 total. Where else she paid over $240 for the 2 months. She was so upset she even expressed to customer service that she wanted to tip me directly which she was told she couldn't. She was so upset that I never received any of my tips and told me she will never use apps like this ever again. She then handed me a cash tip and said here you deserve this.

I told her this is considered Theft, NO Company has the right to take TIPS from another vendor company. They have the right to take money due to them from weekly or bi-weekly mows or service. But when a tip is issued directly to a vendor that money should all go to that vendor. The company should have no right to take out a cut because that isn't their money to take. That is Theft and I told her that now that I can see this, i'm no longer going to use this app anymore. I'm a business owner and I can tell them is wrong, Period.

Also I had no idea that my client was paying nearly $40-$50 per service and Lawnstarter was taking 50-55% of my earnings. I thought surly it was only to take 5%-10% but half of what I was earning is a scam. She showed me her payments and I explained this is wrong, and she should leave a review as well. Personally I thought something felt off about my makings each week i was out but i thought it was just because of the Red tier i was stuck in. Anyways i'm just upset that she tipped over $100 and the company took all of it.

The scheduling was a pain as for pinpointing a specific time.I also prefer the grass be mulched and a bit more trim work needed done. But I didn't bring that to his attention. Carlos done a good job, was courteous and respectful. I would recommend him. Thank you Carlos!😊

Fast, reliable service that makes good use of app on phone. Makes communication, booking and canceling services easy. Prompt response from crew, office staff. They do not outsource there calls which is great when I need something. Don't need to talk to foreigner who just takes messages and doesn't help with services needed since they have no real affiliation to company. Love the company so far.

The service is friendly. The app is easy to navigate. The lawn maintenance companies reply quickly. They take extra effort in their work to make their customers happy. My lawn maintenance tech even took pictures for me once the job was completed. 10/10!!!!

The idea of this is good, but had a few crews that were horrible. One they just raced across the lawn on the ride-ons. Another crew I asked for a quote to remove weeds and put mulch down. They even said they would put a weed barrier down. They only put it in some areas, as they were half way done they asked for more money because they didn't realize how much work it was. After I sent pictures and they also said they stopped by.
