I have sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease, and it is generally not recommended that I take vitamin D3 because it can cause hypercalcaemia. I am also at risk of osteoarthritis. Over the past two years, I have taken a vitamin D3 supplement combined with vitamin K2, along with 3,000 IU of cholecalciferol daily. My blood calcium levels are monitored regularly, and so far all results have remained within the normal range. I am speaking only from my personal experience, but I would strongly suggest that the claim that vitamin K2 helps direct calcium to the bones appears to be supported.No complaints about this company, Highly recommend.
