Very good. These lights seem as good as they are claimed. I have already written a review, so surprised to be asked to do another! I have been interested in these lights for a long time, but never got round to ordering, also the price seemed very high. However, in the final stages of waiting for a cataract operation - and really needing to see better - I saw the advert in the Times for the older models at reduced price so ordered the floor light plus the desk light. Not disappointed.

Versatile, good battery life and excellent illumination for reading or any close up work ( e.g. needlework, model making, etc.). I would highly recommend this, and other lights I have from Serious Readers.

This is very effective and definitely helps me to read more easily. I shall also use it for sewing and jigsaws. It is also elegant and very light to carry. I have just bought another for a present.

This is an excellent light. It looks really smart and feels very high quality. The base is slightly weighted and the light output level and colour is fantastic for reading. I use it on my desk and on a window sill by my reading chair. Compared to other similar lights this one is far superior. Text and colours really do stand out. It's very good! Four light levels too!
