I tried to cancel my order as soon as I saw the rip off for courier charges. I cancelled within 10 minutes and you totally ignored my emails. I will never order from your company again.

Antwoord van Texas Salt Co.
Thank you for your feedback — we’re sorry the experience was frustrating.
International shipping from Texas to Canada does carry higher courier costs, and $66 is in line with the rates our carriers charge for that route. We understand it can feel high if it wasn’t expected.
Regarding the cancellation: it looks like the request went to an email address we don’t monitor regularly. During the Christmas season we pack and ship orders as soon as they come in so we don’t fall behind (we’re a small team), so the order was likely already in process by the time the message was seen.
We’ve since reviewed the situation and will follow up with you directly to make this right. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Great family gifts
I buy the salt as gifts for my son. My husband and I use it regularly too!

A " Salty" Tourist treasure!
I just love the flavor of the original Cowboy Smoked salt. I just happened upon the store when I was visiting my brother in Bandura. The different salts make special gifts so I have ordered some for my son in Boise, ID. I went for free shipping so it was a larger order. I do wish free shipping was offered for a smaller amount. It would be easier to order it as more gift ideas. I want to try more myself, I live in Wisconsin. I'd love to be able to share these salts with more friends.

Thank you for the note. The 1/2 lb Himalayan salt with grater is packed as whole rocks from the same Himalayan mine, not compressed fine salt. Color varies in that mine, so each bag is filled with pink and white rocks to reach at least half a pound, which is what the product page says.
If the pieces you received did not look like rocks, or the weight was short, that is not what we intend to ship. Reply to the order email or contact us at the address on your receipt with your order number and a photo of what arrived, and we will replace the bag or refund it.
I got what I wanted quickly
I got what I wanted quickly. How ever I forgot to get a jar of cowgirl salt. Texas size. What kind of deal on shipping can you make me ?
