Absolutely love the rescue balm, I can't praise it emough!! I had some stubborn eczema on my foot. I tried lots of different medicated treatments but it didn't go, then a friend suggested Rescue Balm, and my foot is now completely clear!! no more itching!!

Maybe it is effective for other conditions, but had little or no impact on psoriasis after several months of consistent use. I don't recommend.

I ordered over £100 of rescue balm, calming tonic and repair balm. As suggested I did a small patch test on my leg of the rescue balm (not on a patch of ecezma for obvious reasons) and it was fine.
So I proceeded to use the rescue balm on my whole body which had a few patches of ecezma but nothing major. 24hours later my entire body is red raw with a rash head to toe.

I’m sure this product works for some people but not for me. I was going to request a refund as two product haven’t been used at all, however reading the customer service responses here have shocked me and it would clearly be a waste of time. Being polite doesn’t cost you anything, being rude costs you your reputation and your customers. Do better.

My exzema isn't going away on my hands like usual and it's been over a year of various steroid creams and moisturisers (only a holiday cleared it up temporarily).
I was dubious at first as different things work for different people (and if you haven't tried it, sleeping in cotton gloves with an emollient can already make a big difference).

In case useful: There are also companies that do different cotton covers for different body parts and I've ordered an exzema scratch roller from a different company which hasn't arrived yet, but I'm hopeful for.
This came last week. I got the exzema pack and im in love with the skin calming tonic. The rescue cream and balm are decent moisturisers with a nice texture and havent stung on broken skin. However, the skin calming tonic is amazing for me. I used all 3 in a routine for a few days and saw some really good calming/improvement.
Sadly i got full of cold week and my chest got bad. These smell nice but have been too stong smelling to use without setting my asthma off until I was better (I can be quite sensitive to scents). Anyway my hands have gotten bad whilst I wasn't feeling well. Woke up this morning super itchy and red and thought sod this. Just put on a load of skin calming tonic and was like aaaaaaaaah. It didnt sting and the relif was so good I went straight to write this review. I feel they advertise the balms as the standout product but honestly this was mine and I will almost definitely be buying more of the skim calming tonic. I feel like I need more time to give the rest a good go before I can properly review the moisturisers.

If this had no scent it would have been perfect, but I think (not checked) the scent is natural so not sure they can do anything about that.

As a VP for a well-known corporate brand, I am utterly shocked by what I’ve witnessed. After reading the reviews and the owner’s responses, I can say without hesitation that this is some of the most appalling customer service behaviour I have ever encountered. A customer left a negative review and was met with an aggressive, dismissive reply – including the astonishing remark, ‘We sell skincare and not doormats’
This level of hostility towards customers is beyond unacceptable. It reflects a complete lack of professionalism and basic decency. My advice: avoid this company at all costs. Customers – whether new or returning – are the foundation of any successful business, and how you treat them determines your future. Sadly, this company seems to have forgotten that. The tone and attitude displayed are shocking. I wonder whether being based in the countryside like Cotswolds have turned them feral...

I'm American too and one of the stereotypes that British people have about Americans, is how good the customer service is. I'm quite proud of that. I've given 3 stars, because I haven't yet made up my mind. It wouldn't have been fair to give 1 star based on what I've read in the reviews.

I have been looking for a natural product for my daughter who suffers with eczema, but after reading the responses to negative feedback, I'm sceptical. I go to the negative feedback because it tells you a lot. Obviously, everyone will have a different experience, much like staying in a hotel. Telling someone to "buckle up" because you're about to unload however, is... well it sucks. Sure, it's not easy to receive feedback and not take it personally, but it's in these situations where a company truly shows its worth because you learn more from losses than you do wins. A person can have a horrible experience with a product, and still give you their business if you treat them right, if you make them feel valued. Word of mouth is a great multiplier, and you get to decide which way. You either multiply your wins or your losses. Everybody knows somebody with a skin condition.

I ordered the rescue balm and it has helped a great deal with the dry skin and eczema patches in my face. It takes a while but I’m very pleased and surprised by the product. It’s got an earthy smell and is quite oily but it seems to have worked. I’m going to try some other products too now.

My son has had eczema since he was a baby and we’ve tried so many creams over the years but nothing has consistently worked or made a significant improvement. But since he’s being using the rescue balm daily, in a matter of weeks his hands have gone from rough, itchy, scaly, cut to smooth and soft with hardly any irritation now. It’s been AMAZING! Still can’t quite believe it. I hope this review helps someone else find relief.

I love all the skincare products that I’ve tried from Thunderbird skin. I especially like the enzymatic cleansing balm, I’ve used it recurringly for over a year and I’ve repurchased several times. I also love the wild crafted repair balm which I’ve also used two containers of during the last year. My skin is sensitive and can’t tolerate many skincare products. I also have diagnosed rosacea. I still use my prescription cream for my rosacea but I find that my skincare from Thunderbird skin complements it and decreases redness and sensitivity.

I have been suffering with a contact dermatitis condition on my hand for many years and have been in an endless cycle of flare ups, medical ointments and steroid creams. I've also tried many various hand creams over the years but nothing helps.

Thunderbird popped up in my Instagram and after reading some reviews I thought I'd give it a try.

I purchased the small pot to see how I got on with it. At the time I bought it I was right at the start of a flare up, with an excruciating itch, dryness and split skin. This is unlike any other cream or treatment I've used on my hands. Firstly, it has a really grainy texture which has an exfoliating feel and really helped with the itchy part but it also seemed to heal the split skin really quickly. I started to see results almost immediately! As the instructions state, use it little and often, which is what I did and I am so happy to say that after 5 weeks my hands are clear. It has been at least 10years since I had clear hands. My bad hand still gets itchy but I pop some of this on and rub it in and I get immediate relief. I've had no splitting skin in over a week and the area is also starting to feel a little softer.

I can't tell you how happy I am with this product and I've just bought my second pot.

My daughter and I have both suffered from Perioral Dermatitis for years, we have tried every cream/balm/serum that promises results and most end up in the bin - Thunderbird Skin ‘Wild Crafter Repair Balm’ is the only product That has worked and I have bought again, both of our flare ups have disappeared and I also use it on my eczema prone hands - I can’t recommend this highly enough!

Hello, I’ve been suffering with very sore eczema on my hands for years, using the same steroid cream which only calmed the symptoms for a day or two.

I purchased this cream after an advert popped up on instagram and reading the review. From the very first time using this cream I have been blown away! My hands are the best they’ve ever been and I finally don’t feel embarrassed having them out! Thank you so much. What an incredible product.

Having suffered with a strange rash for months, tried steroid cream & various prescribed medication I thought I would try the Thunderbird cream whilst I wait for the dermatology appt... I only wish I had tried it sooner, my skin has cleared up radically since using it. By the time I see the specialist the rash will have gone!

My husband has suffered with painful , aggravating, itchy and inflamed exzema on the inside of his elbows and up his arms , for years and years. Trying to get by with steroid cream from the GP that is very short lived in effectiveness had been his only remedy until we came across this magical stuff!! Within a few hours it was soothed and much calmer. Within a week, the exzema has gone!! The first time in TEN years. Wow. Talk about life changing. If you suffer with exzema you will understand. Thank you 😊

I placed an order based on the advert I watched on Instagram which seemingly cured some of the worst cases of eczema ive ever seen (Now I see it was probably makeup).
My order came to around £30.

After using the product for around 6 weeks on 3 small patches of eczema, the only change I could see was the pot of balm slowly getting more empty.

After querying this with the page on Instagram, I was immediately blocked.

After emailing customer services, they replied until I mentioned I was blocked.

This is an awful company. A modern day snake oil salesman.

Terrible product, worse customer service.

I randomly developed a very sore area of severe eczema and I tried everything. Lots of things helped a bit, hydrocortisone being the best but knowing I didn't want to use that for long I tried the rescue balm. It is the most soothing product ive experienced, works within seconds. Ive only been using it for 4 days but I havent had to use anything else since. Very positive experience and I encourage you to try it.

Not easy to apply , smell was not good and made my rash worse. Really poor quality. Nothing as they advertised it . Will not be buying again . Very disappointed!

I was considering purchasing this product, but feel misled by the reviews. On the home page of the product, the site claims they have received 17870 reviews. When you actually click on the Reviews section, this number is repeated, but in the detail there are only 1787 reviews. It would appear that a zero has been added to the total. I'd appreciate clarification please and am very happy to amend this review depending on the response. Thank you.

I haven’t yet used the product, I’m hoping things work, but I’m already somewhat gobsmacked.

As with all brands that oversell themselves by way of ‘customer reviews’ you’re always unsure as to how legit the product is, but I thought I’d give it a go and try their sample rescue balm & cream. I thought, at least if it doesn’t work I’ve not spent too much - and if it does, amazing I’ll buy larger!

I did not expect the sample pots to be so wildly small for their price. They cost over £4 each, and they’re incredibly small - smaller than the smallest Vaseline tin. The postage on top was another £4, when it absolutely could’ve been the cost of a small letter. Oh my gosh.

I appreciate the artisanal homemade remedy vibe, but please please reconsider the price point for your samples.
