These products have been amazing for my rosacea and skin generally-I bought the set and my favourites are the hemp face wash, rescue balm and tonic.
They could be made even better with different packaging-the chunky ceramic style pots seem very wasteful (can they be recycled?) Also the writing on the bottled products has worn away so I can’t read them so maybe a different method of printing for those would help. I’d also like them even better without added scent and if I could see them on the Yuka app and that none of the ingredients come up as a concern on there.

It actually works
My 3 year old has suffered with really bad eczema, nothing shifted it and we had tried the prescribed steroid cream as well as your everyday day cetraben/zeroderm. 2.5 weeks of using this twice a day and it’s cleared up, I keep doing maintenance applications and it’s great. Would definitely recommend

My daughter,13 years old, was recently diagnosed with psoriasis in the eye and hand area. After many many tried and tested treatments, I was at a loss on how to help her. As a teen , she was chronically embarrassed about the condition, with swollen eyes, cracked, flaky and red raw skin. I happened upon Thunderbird Rescue Balm while trolling the internet for a solution one day, and purchased the trial size. This has been an absolute game changer for her. While not only clearing her eyes, it also prevented further flare ups, and improved the health of her skin around her eyes. This is such a relief for her, and for me as a mom, knowing she is not using harmful chemicals to simply reduce pain and irritation. I have just bought a full size! We are hooked !

I bought my first tin of Thunderbird Rescue Balm some time ago and loved it for calming my psoriasis, loved the smell and applying it after the shower. Happily ordered a new tin as my first ran out and at £24 it is a luxurious product for myself to afford! Opened it on arrival and made a story on social media of how much I liked it, as the card sent inside the box instructs us to do.
Opened the new tin to apply it after my shower, but noticed a totally different smell from the first tin. Not a pleasant smell, earthy, a bit like the smell of my compost bin. Definitely similar to the way an old batch of nuts or seeds taste rancid when they go off.
I appreciate that natural products vary, of course, and have been using chemical free/organic products for a long time that have natural smells, not chemical perfumes. I’m not a very fussy consumer but I can’t wear this smell on my skin, my partner said it’s unpleasant to smell on my skin, and I imagine this batch was possibly corrupted with an ingredient that has turned rancid. If this wasn’t the case I’d be wearing it now.
This morning I telephoned Thunderbird directly to tell them this tin was unwearable, imagining that they may have had other buyers of tins in that batch that also complained? I’m not sure how anyone would wear this?
Most small companies would usually be interested to hear such feedback and willingly rectify the situation with a replacement.
I’ve rarely been spoken to in such a patronising and abrupt manner as the Australian lady on the line but she was incredibly rude to me, I’m actually shocked at some of the things she said!
I offered to post back the tin with one smear out of it so she could analyse the smell but she said they don’t replace products once used and that variations in smell are normal. I tried to make clear that this wasn’t just a variation but unwearable and she said that their natural products are different from other organic brands that bleach and fragrance ingredients and that I should buy something else. I said I was a repeat customer that had been happy with my first tin and wanted to keep ordering the same product and that it was an expensive product for me but she told me it wasn’t expensive!! She was shouting at me that I was speaking over her whilst she admonished me for daring to inform her that her product was unwearable then said in the end I can post the product back for a refund but she will never sell a future product to me again.
How’s that for service to a repeat customer?? Incredibly extreme reaction!
I loved the first tin so much I was keen to continue championing them but I’m shocked at her reaction to a genuine concern about a faulty product.
There’s a longterm customer gone for them.

Product arrived and its got a alot of grains. very different to what is advertised on Instagram which looked creamy and smooth. They are trying to blame my storage methjd when it fact i didnt even get to store it as it was grainy out of the box. they will not replace it not refudn as a gestire of goodwill. be aware.
I have also contacted some whose bought the product on Instaram and they are dealing ith the ame issue. £10 out of pocket.
They email me the below after my review telling me to put the product in warm water. Stir and then refrigerate.
Who buys products to sit and do that instead of ready to use.
You are not the only company to supply natural ingredients. You are thunderbird are lucky there is no video feature to show customers what the product looks like.
With a generic reply as below, it’s obvious you have gone through this with many of your one time purchase customers.

My partner has eczema and has tried many different steroid and prescription creams over the years, but nothing really worked. I bought Rescue Cream for him to try, thinking he had nothing to lose — and the Rescue Balm surprised us! He says it feels gentle and soothing, with a lovely texture that melts smoothly into the skin without any stickiness. After a few weeks, I noticed a real improvement: his persistent eczema began to fade and the itching reduced. He scratches much less at night. I was so impressed that I ordered four more tins to share with my brother and friends who also suffer from eczema.
I can see why some reviews say it smells strong, but to me it’s just the natural scent of the ingredients rather than an artificial perfume — and I actually liked that. I’ll definitely keep buying it for him.

Truly amazing stuff. My partner is using this for her eczema and it’s working wonders! She was going through Steroid withdrawal due to doctors providing her with some much of the stuff! Her skin is looking better and this is my second time ordering. Will be a regular customer now!

I tried the Repair Balm and Repair Cream, and these products made my eczema worse than it’s been in years. So painful and itchy. I tried to push through as the website says it may get worse before it gets better, but it kept going downhill over several weeks until it literally looked like my hands were falling apart. I also encourage you to look at the company’s own responses to other 1 star reviews, they are unbelievably rude.

Ordered the rescue cream after seeing various social media advertising. I love supporting small business and was even more keen to order seeing they were based in Tetbury as I have family there. The product arrived with the top of the pump mechanism snapped off so I messaged to ask if I could please be sent a replacement pump. I was asked by Phil to send photographic proof of the defect which I did, fair enough, to then be met with the smuggest response basically stating it wasn’t packed like that and since the box wasn’t dented there’s nothing they can do. I replied again but was ghosted. Just as well the cream did sweet FA for my eczema (and as other reviewers have said, it stinks) because I wouldn’t want to give this company my further business. Save your money. I’m going back to plain coconut oil.

I bought the full size cleansing balm, it left my skin feeling tight.

When I'm stressed, I get this weird blisters on my hands, which then weep and the skin starts peeling.

Combined with my recent excessive DIY efforts, this caused a big patch of skin in the middle of my palm to become very dry and cracked. It was so bad that I was considering going to the doctor.

I bought the tin of Thunderbird a few months ago for my husband's psoriasis, but he never tried it.

So I slathered my hands in it before bed last night and when I got up this morning it had improved so much! Very impressed.

It's a shame I can't seem to add photos to this review.

Ordered some sample sizes ( great that this is available) but the enzymatic cleanser smells awful, which is a shame as I doubt my son will use it any further. The rescue balm doesn’t smell great either but slightly less offensive than the cleanser

I bought a large rescue skin balm for psoriasis on my face the first day of using it I noticed it hydrated my skin tho after the second day my skin would so extremely hard then soft when I applied the balm. I noticed my psoriasis were starting to get more inflamed and bigger and my skin became chopped and broke. Stop using immediately.

Brilliant product, really hydrating doesn’t irritate when applying.
Delivery has always been very fast too!

AWFUL AVOID. customer service team are grim and rude. products are not as advertised and are bad quality. shouldn’t have to reset your own balm several times to make it work when it costs £25+. having a joke.

Wanted to give 3 stars for the average product but having revisited their website I have to give them 2 stars. Website is terrible to navigate.
Products, while work, my child hates them, we call it booger cream because it doesn't absorb very well, just dries out and leaves green lumps on your skin. Is also disgusting to touch, some sort of green slime. All in all won't be buying again, will stick to professionals.

Brilliant rescue balm cream, it does definitely help with my eczema stops the itching and my skin feels so smooth , I definitely recommend it.

I would expect professional assistance with what products to choose. I described my skin, issues and current routine, and asked what they would recommend. There were several back and forths, but every reply gave me a sense of not really bothering going into a dialogue and helping me find the right products for my skin. Final reply back was “I suggest you buy some mini’s to see what works for you”. Needles to say, Im not doing that, and Im also not buying anything else.

EDIT after reply: I was looking to change my entire routine, so why you talk about 5€ I do not understand. I know my skintype, and asked as such. The response I got was limited, but it seems you are mainly interested in selling for the money, not to ensure people get the correct product from you. But the reply from you only emphasize that I made the right choice. What an entitled way to do business. Many other places they are happy to advise, in case of questions. I will go there instead.

Was very much surprised at how well the product worked on my skin , having tried so many products over many years and spend a lot doing so, this product is excellent in repairing and maintains healthy skin. Having to deal with Rosacea and very dry skin was at times overwhelming and that has now changed I feel more confident , and enjoy new experiences undaunted by worrying how I look.
