Hays Travel - York Reviews 

My friend and I booked a holiday to Gran Canaria in November. She's just lost her husband and wants to get away. She's never been abroad before or on a plane so it will be a new experience for her. Rebecca was brilliant and really helped us with our choices.

I wasn't asked to take a seat. All I wanted was a travel voucher for a present for someone. The process took a long time. I was asked for a lot of personal information. The receipt was three pages long. Totally a receipt for someone booking a holiday. And now I am getting emails from you which I don't want.

Excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Would never go anywhere else

Just love going into the York store on Ouse bridge. Always get a warm welcome from all the staff especially molly and Rebecca. The other girls are just as nice. It’s a pleasure just to pop in when passing by as they always have a cheery smile and a few kind words go a long way. Will always book there. Nothing is to much trouble. Thanks girls x

On the 2 occasions we've visited the travel agents, first to book then to collect my tickets, everyone as been thoroughly warm and welcoming especially as im a nervous traveller. Very knowledgeable and professional. The staff we dealt with were very patient and answered all my queries in a calm and friendly manner. The staff are a credit to the company, which is hard to find these days well done everyone 👏

Well this vist was good but sometimes it's not sometimes of the staff can be a bit lacks

Hays Travel Low Ousegate York, are always efficient and helpful when booking a holiday. Being a regular customer its always a pleasurable experience with great staff.

I spoke to Sophia in the York branch and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She found us what looks like the perfect holiday for our family. I could not fault her. However I emailed the York branch to book the holiday and unfortunately Sophia was not working. So I went ahead and booked with someone else and it was a disaster. We got the wrong hotel booked it was very confusing booking it then we got the right holiday and it was more money I didn’t get the same level of customer service I had had with Sophia. She would look at different dates to see which was the best deal. So I’ve booked a holiday I’m not convinced is the best deal. Very underwhelmed with it all. I wish I had just waited to book it through Sophia herself but wanted to make the most of the 0 deposit
