Very satisfied. I did plenty of research before my purchase and was considering going higher end. I have 2.5 acres to look after with extensive hedging, so this was my main search, but I also needed a pole saw, so went fir the multitool option and I am very glad I did. I have used both and both perform very well. The tool appears very well built and slots together effortlessly. The engine fires up easily hot ir cold. I love the thing! Wish I had of bought it years ago (I know this is a cliche ... but it is true) ..

Purchased Mitox 28MT as replacement for my current identical Mitox as this was proving very temperamental having previously given good service, using fresh fuel and draining if not used. . Decided to try using synthetic two stroke mix. "Aspen " or similar in new machine. Spot on. Also tried this expensive mix in old machine, running perfectly!

So far so good. After doing a Which? search we find this one in our price range (some were hugely expensive) and for the number of times a year we were using it we didn't want to take out a mortgage! Lots of companies were selling them but no-one had them in stock (this being in the middle of lockdown) however the Green Reaper allowed me to register an email address so that I could be informed when they did come back into stock. Two days after I received my email and ordering it , I received the multi tool. Then the fun started. Putting it together was relatively easy although I did require the husband on a couple of occasions. Mixing the fuel in the bottle provided was easy and the instruction for the start up were easy too. The husband was the first to use it on our 100 foot long Leylandii hedge which was in desperate need of a hair cut. The hedge trimmer went through it like a knife through butter. We had specifically bought this model because of the extension pole but when it came to it we didn't use it as the trimmer itself was long enough. When using the angle head he did have to stand some way back from the hedge to get the top but it managed it very well and he has no complaints. I was the next to use the grass strimmer. After a bit of trouble locking it into place I strimmed everything in site. It is by far the best strimmer I've ever owned although this is the first petrol model I've ever had. I did manage to break the strimming line of at one point but it was very easy to take the head off and thread the line through again (the bump feed didn't work on this occasion as the line was too short but it did work on another ocassion) We have yet to try the pruning saw and brush strimmer but we will be doing that in Autumn. It is a heavy machine but it is balances very well. I used the support strap when strimming but still found it to balance well. All in all we are very happy with our purchase. A good solid piece of equipment which is easy to swap between the different attachments.

In terms of price this item represents very good value. A good starter & the hedge trimmer & branch pruner are excellent, effective accessories. On the downside, with the extender in place the appliance becomes very heavy indeed- particularly with the hedge trimmer attachment. Also, after extended use watch the exhaust which gets very hot! Overall, for use for those occasional “high” spots this is a decent machine & does the job but for standard level stuff individual machines are better.
