Absolutely disgraceful frustrating and useless with information. On trying to redeem my mother in laws bonds to pay for her care five months later no further forward, three times sent power of attorney which I hasten to add was completed by a solicitor and certified still not accepted, they said due to the I certify part being rubber stamped albeit hand written signature it is not acceptable. They then advised I get another to hand write on the legal document on every page to certify, I explained it would deface a legal document but they said had to be done guess what not acceptable. Called again tonight to be told they need original document of which they had two months ago of which is now defaced. I asked to speak to a manager but was told I would be given same info, I am going to take this further as I am appalled by the lack of knowledge compassion and sheer lack of interest. How can we provide such a useless organisation I am going to withdraw any bonds and want no more to do with this useless place.
