Disappointing quality and customer experience – not what you’d expect at this price point
I purchased a white-orange Rubber B strap for my Rolex Explorer II with high expectations, based on how the brand positions itself—Swiss-made, hand-finished, used by top watchmakers like Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. Sadly, the product I received fell far short of that promise.
The first strap had a clear visual flaw—an uneven color transition and a visible surface bump. I reported the issue with detailed documentation, including photos and color analysis. Rubber B sent a replacement, but it too showed visible irregularities.
When I raised this again, I was told these were normal tolerances due to hand-finishing. I find that hard to believe—no luxury brand would accept this level of inconsistency, especially for a product meant to complement a multi-thousand-euro timepiece.
Rather than standing behind their quality and inspecting inventory for a flawless strap, Rubber B ultimately declined to continue and advised me to return the item for a refund. That’s not the kind of service or product control I expected from a brand claiming to be in the luxury segment.
I’ve returned both straps and won’t be buying from Rubber B again. Disappointing from start to finish.
