Waste of time, not structured enough, not focussed, less than a third of the time useful

Review: Touchstone Education – Property Flipping Event
Event length: 1 hour 22 minutes
Useful content: Approx. 15 minutes
Overall verdict: Disappointing, pushy upsell, minimal actual teaching.

I saw the negative reviews beforehand, so was cautious.

Please if there are such companies and people who are millionaires, stop trying to sell to those who are not. Pay it forward. It is so frustrating. Share for free step by step from the beginning with evidenced financials of how one got there. Same goes for all the other millionaires on instagram, social media, etc. Greed is ugly. This is an exploitation of vulnerability. Charging for knowledge that could be shared freely can be seen as taking advantage of individuals seeking self-improvement or financial advancement. Perceived lack of authenticity:
Some courses from millionaires are perceived as attempts to capitalise on their wealth and status rather than genuine educational offerings.

I went to a different one last night, this one was long and just chatted without learning anything the first 20 minutes, then it goes on to trying to upsell you to pay for their 2 day course. You do not actually therefore learn anything the first 20-25 minutes!

With this company, the chat is private - big red flag! I put all this in the chat box, I challenged and asked: "What are we going to learn in this meeting?" Touchstone Education put: "flipping property". 24 minutes in Property Flipping started to be talked about. Cut the first half hour. Other companies give more info in half the time. Cut the psychology videos that do not teach us how to property flip, but instead about psychology. Focus on teaching how to property flip. Only 15 minutes about property flipping.

Points learnt:
1. To utilise the rooms as bedrooms.
2. Hot tubs are key for holiday lets - other companies also say this, but give you the financial difference.
3. KFC pay £15k if you find a good empty building for them.
4. Rightmove Commercial Allsop.
5. Funding flips if no money, private finance, e.g. a dentist.
6. As a limited company, can borrow money within 2 weeks?

Stayed the whole time incase I missed anything, but it was a waste of time. Constant upselling, too pushy, every few minutes until at least the first half hour! Then again after 45 minutes again. Apparently a financial analyser and net worth calculator worth £5k included in the payment only 2 day course. I asked at the end: "Please may you share what you did specifically with financials from the beginning?" Just all focussed on referring back to the 2 day course.

1 hour 22 minutes, far too long, so much time wasted.

Some errors with the use of lend, borrow, lent, borrowed, etc.

Mirrored a pattern that’s unfortunately common in the “get rich” seminar space — where the primary goal is upselling, not teaching.
What you’ve described highlights several red flags:
1. Front-loading with fluff instead of substance
* The first 20–30 minutes were spent on chatting, psychology videos, or “warming up” the audience rather than giving practical property flipping instruction.
* This is a deliberate pacing tactic: build rapport, lower skepticism, then pitch.
2. Minimal actual value compared to time invested
* Out of the whole session, you walked away with only a handful of genuinely actionable points (rooms as bedrooms, hot tubs for holiday lets, KFC finder’s fee, Rightmove Commercial/Allsop, private finance sources).
* Other companies apparently give the same or more in a fraction of the time.
3. Aggressive and repetitive upselling
* “Only” a 2-day course costing hundreds or thousands, positioned as the “real” source of value.
* Frequent interjections pushing the sale (“worth £5k bonuses” etc.) break the flow and reduce trust.
4. Lack of transparency and open discussion
* Private chat only, rather than public Q&A, prevents peer-to-peer validation of claims.
* It’s easier for them to filter or avoid difficult questions.
5. Language and professionalism issues
* Even basic grammatical slips like incorrect use of lend vs borrow undermine credibility when you’re selling yourself as an expert.

Hello,

Your review contains several inaccuracies that we feel are important to correct. The (completely free) online session you attended is designed to give an introductory yet structured overview of the strategy being discussed, alongside real examples and success stories from students who have implemented it successfully.

The first part of the session is intentionally used to establish context, outline the fundamentals, and address common misconceptions—this is not “fluff,” but a necessary foundation before discussing more detailed tactics. As you noted, we did provide key actionable points within the session, all of which are practical starting steps for anyone interested in property flipping.

Regarding the two-day course: this is optional, clearly positioned for those who want a more in-depth, step-by-step blueprint with direct mentorship.

The private chat function is not a “red flag” but a measure to keep discussions on track, prevent spam, and allow our team to answer questions efficiently in a large group setting to avoid any form of hate and disrespect. No genuine question is removed simply for being challenging.

We stand by our track record and the quality of our education, backed by numerous verifiable success stories. For anyone who wishes to explore the strategy further or create a personalised roadmap, our success executives are available to discuss tailored plans and next steps.

Warm regards,
The Touchstone Education Team
