Unethical practices
Bought a number of items from CherryDeals, including some £1 jars and a free item. Received a notice from the company claiming the items were 'damaged in transit' and granting me a store credit with no offer of refund or replacement. Clearly this is a ploy, offering products at a special price and then forcing the customer to use their payment for full-priced products. NOTE: It is illegal under UK law to restrict customers’ rights or to mislead them about their rights, for example by stating on your website that you only offer store credit for items damaged or lost in transit. Under UK Consumer Law, consumers are entitled to a full refund for goods not received within 30 days of purchase,
