They sound amazing but are cheap.

I ordered a shirt but it came as a shiny material and the jewellery on the collar was almost off. The cut was terrible and didn’t match. Don’t buy from here. I am told I have to pay to return it and after reading this review page don’t think I am likely to get my money back.

Avoid at any cost.

Since December 2023 Octopus had 'Transposed' metter readings which made my account look like I owed them £2,600.00. They accept it is their fault but they are waiting for a mysterious specialist to sort out out the problem. In other words they have no control over who put the figures in wrong and have no way to correct their mistake. I do not beleive they want to correct it as it means I cannot change supplier and I do not know if I need to pay the £200.00 I was paying. After many failed emails that only got responses that they knew their mistake had happened they are so ineffective they cannot say when this will be corrected. Therefore no customer service. After complaining to my MP I received an emails from Greg James from Octopus Energy after reveiwing my account I should put my repayments up to £431.68.

The only replies I get are it is there fault. That is a failure on their part

Following the reply of today April 5 2024 I have to point out 2 things. 1. It was not my meter it was the people putting in the data and 2. No resolution. My God what a crap company! A shareholder should pay the difference and free me from this hold they have in me but of course they are not concerned while they make big profits!

Absolutely rubbish trees

Absolutely rubbish trees. I bought a new pre lit tree two years ago. Used it for Christmas. Lights never left on for long in one go. Stored nicely. The second use the transformer was not working so had replacement sent out. Tree stored nicely again. Got the tree up this year ( third time) lights worked twice then transformer didn’t work. The last transformer is only a year old. They have told me I can buy one in their shop. So that’s going to be £10.00 every year and hassle. Rubbish trees. Cheap Chinese electrics,

Difficult website.

Disliked trying to lower my payments to £200.00 per month but the website auto adjusted to £300.00. However Bradley Thomas - Team MCR2, was very understanding to adjust to £200.00. Waste of both our time though.

Scammers

Scammers. Beware. Ordered an illuminated wall mirror for my wife. It came. It had no ellectrical connection cable. I got an electrician to wire it up and found the light being omitted was that of a single candle.

Their reply.

Good afternoon, ​ I am so sorry to hear that however, the mirror is not designed to light up faces, it is purely decorative. ​ As it has been installed and then uninstalled, we wouldn't be able to accept this back for a refund I'm afraid, I am so sorry. Kind Regards, Abigail Customer Support

How could we not atleast see if it worked without connecting it!

I am writing after the reply below. Inthe manual that came with it there are instructions on how to make an electrical connection. There eas never meantto be a cable supplied. So the fact i needed to connect the unit to see if it worked was the only step for me to take. The cable not being fitted on purpose then makes the customer default a return which the company know. Manomano are hiding behind this excuse to not allow a refund. I expect they get alot of attempts.

I am very sorry to hear of the issues with your mirror product. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused on this occasion.

Please be advised that if an electrical cable was supposed to be included with the product, this should have been raised with the seller or ourselves on receiving the product in order for the seller to check and offer a solution in terms of a return or replacement etc if required, as once the product has been wired and installed it changes their returns policy.

Terrible delivery system

Terrible delivery system. They dont tellbyou there is a 10.00 am cut off or that they will be happy with your product sitting in a delivery depot at 08.34 friday not to be moved until Monday after paying for their Fasttrack purchase.

We have been in contact to discuss this with you directly, our cut off time for same day despatch is 10am and your order had been placed after this time meaning delivery is scheduled for Monday.

The couriers will inform you with a 2-hour delivery timeframe once the order has been loaded onto a van.

Absolutely no customer support ...after Trustpilot review I got help!

Absolutely no customer support. Before I joined OVO I made sure a smart meter was included in the package. It was. It came 5 weeks after joining which was fine. After a couple of months it started to give me est reading which is pointless. On chatting with an engineer installing to my dads house he gave me the latest IHD. It wouldn't connect to the electricity meter although both gas and electric meters were showing signs of communicating with the IHD. I rang OVO and said was told an engineer would contact me in 2 weeks. After two weeks I rang again and the operator asked me to send the id numbers on the IHD (so an engineer not needed! Two weeks wasted.) I rang again 7 days later not hearing anything and I was told that as the IHD was not made by OVO they couldn't do anything. I asked if they could send an engineer out to connect it properly and I was told as the IHD was not made by OVO they couldn't do anything. My IHD is no more than 1.2mtrs distance through a timber wall. They are just not bothered so I will change to a supplier who will connect a IHD when the meters are installed. Crazy excuse.

After receiving the response from OVO and opening into dialogue on Facebook messenger they reapplied the extra information I had already supplied them and guess what ....the In Home Display I was given by an OVO engineer did work!

It sounds like the In Home Display (IHD) you have isn't one of ours. This means that we wouldn't be able to connect it to your smart meters.

Do not use this this company.
They use an excuse they cannot refund an undelivered order within there own time frame.

Estimated delivery Monday 4th December. The track link in my email did not work so I called them. Told items on truck for delivery for Monday.

Tuesday 5th December. Tried to ring courier 10 times - not picking up phone. Rang web blinds. Told me order on truck for delivery. Received text message delivery booked for between 1.20pm and 3.20pm. No delivery so rang web blinds at 3.40pm. They told me order was loaded late but on truck for delivery the day. Told to wait until 7.00pm. No delivery.

Rang this morning Wednesday 6th December wanting a refund. Said they could not refund through the courier not delivering. I told them their contract had changed as they had lied to me twice.

Asked to speak to their manager told I couldn't.
I still can not get through to courier.

Shame. I have a number of properties we are upgrading.... not with web blinds. First and last time.
