Review over Phoenix Gravity Filters (UK)
My order arrived today and I was SO excited after wasting £40 on a Brita glass filter jug which still made the water taste like PLASTIC!
Did all the instructions for assembly as I found a video on Youtube ( so helpful )
So it was super easy to set up!
And I was ready to go in no time
The water looks crystal clear and tastes lovely , slight after taste on first use even after flushing but SO much better than the Brita and I feel it will improve in time
SO happy I found the Pheonix after MUCH research as we do not want plastics in our water and yet most filters and jugs ARE plastic , so it makes no sense to me! Lol
Beautiful product beautiful water and I bought mainly as for some reason as I am getting older now I seem to be feeling ''less thirsty'' even though my body DOES need it , which happens when you get older , so I was not drinking enough!! :-(
NOT GOOD but I do love water and I have already found on day 1 I am drinking more because it is so lovely and clean and fresh tasting :-)

Just placed my first order with this company after searching for a beauty company who supply beauty products made from waste food etc
Found some lovely face creams and scrubs which use old blueberries and coffee grounds
Could not resist adding to my basket to get the free delivery as it was such an amazing well being feeling to treat myself to some pamper products but all ethically sourced etc which makes me feel good!
I would definitely recommend green Tulip as treating myself never felt so good!! :-)
I am very much indeed looking forward to my order arriving and it was a very lovely online shopping experience

I would say this is the BEST short date website and am so happy they are now moving to a bigger warehouse so they can sell more goods to us! :-)
Everything is efficient so far , no problems at all , kept informed re the delivery and particularly love the prices of the pet food , also the variety of goods like ceramics , thank you IWWN as I sadly had some AWFUL experiences with some other best before date companies who are SHODDY but I hope that if there are any problems with my delivery or items ( none so far ) that you will sort it out for me suitably as I feel so NON valued by the other best before sites as their customer service if things go wrong is appalling! :-(
So far you are proving me right that you are THE BEST
Am SO looking forward to a bigger variety of stock? Like crisps and snacks and cupboard goods please?

I only took 1 star off as I have had dealings with a few dodgy , rude people on there requesting ( practically demanding ) the food and my address!
As a lone female I do not feel comfortable with pushy or dishonest men or demanding snappy women lol
So the 4 stars is for MOST people who have been lovely , turned up when said and followed my instructions and were polite
I am NOT a FWH as I do not drive - I just try new foods and make mistakes re buying in bulk to save money
I also like to declutter or get rid of food lurking in my freezer to make room for new food
I also give away household items
Most people are lovely like I said and the NEW VERY LOCAL INDEED FWH I have found recently ( who has become one recently ) is a DREAM!!
So very polite and pleasant and I do sometimes miss out but other times we have got a lovely few bits which come from Sainsbury's
I am a full time carer on benefits so it is such a treat to be GIFTED FOOD and Olio is a wonderful app and it really helps me out plus helps prevent food waste!

The 'flavour' is of some cheap nasty palm oil sickening taste , with a tiny dry hazelnut in
NOT a pleasant flavour and NOT a chocolate taste at all but just nasty FAT taste of the palm oil mainly , thanks Ferrero for ruining our favourite Christmas treat and we will NOT be buying even again now!!

So disappointed , since the new website is up everything is WAY more expensive
Maybe it is to absorb the cost of the new warehouse and website as well but I much preferred not only the old website and daily special offers BUT the prices were SO much better before
Have gone elsewhere where you can get things like crisps for 40p and noodles for 20p etc
There are hardly any real bargains to be found on Approved Food anymore as much as I really like the owner and his adorable children!
I wish him the best but as an older person I just cannot ''get on with'' the new website nor can I AFFORD the prices on there , sadly! :-(
Review over Freeview
I am actually happy with Freeview after just watching TV through my communal aerial which was missing SO many TV channels
I am in my 60's and home a lot especially in the winter and the CHOICE on Freeview is so amazing compared to what I had
I think I will possibly miss SOME of the old channels I had as I have not found them on Freeview as YET ( too busy watching a film right now lol ) and have not scrolled any further yet but I could not get 'Great Movies' on my aerial alone which is the channel I so wanted , so that is a bonus for me now , BUT I was NOT expecting adverts and 'pauses' with a timer going down which is a pain as I did not get them when watching channels through my aerial but never mind am still VERY HAPPY with Freeview as the picture is super clear , seems reliable and I am shocked at how many channels I get!!
The cold winter months won't be so dreary now , but exciting , as I am literally spoilt for choice now!! :-) :-)
Thank you Freeview , so happy to be free of subscriptions I cannot afford and a useless communal aerial which is not maintained by my landlord!!

So far so good but if I ever have a VERY bad experience I will change my review!

Their prices are so incredibly low it feels like they want to help struggling families
They really do win the day in this huge cost of living crisis!
The staff in my local branch ( Orpington ) are wonderful , SO helpful and friendly , even the security guard
It is a pleasure to shop there and their half price reduced fresh food section has very much helped my family out!!
Online shopping is a breeze and I cannot believe how LOW their prices are compared to ALL the other major supermarkets which just shows the GREED of the 'big 4'
This actually means I do not have to 'despair' and WORRY about my food shop , as I believe Iceland is the ONLY supermarket retailer who have the backs of those on a low income , the others are SO greedy it is beyond ridiculous!
I LOVE the fact that everything arrives in carrier bags and NOT in crates!
I have a hernia , back pain and mobility issues , so the driver just bringing the bags straight in without me having to unload a load of crates myself is BRILLIANT
You can track EXACTLY where your delivery van is
And I have a sense of security knowing I do not now have to panic over the price of food!!
Their Christmas bonus offer is FAB , along with the £1 back for every £20 on your Iceland card
My only sad thing is they do not stock absolutely everything I need for a weekly shop as I buy eg 55p kidney beans and a lot from the fresh fruit and veg isles which Iceland don't quite have enough of for me , so I do a main shop elsewhere and Iceland is my ''savings shop'' where I can eg stock up on noodles and £1 meals etc! :-)
I have done my Christmas bonus this year as they gave us 2 weeks extra to do so
I was not going to do it this year but I decided they have saved the day so many times for me on difficult weeks and the free £15 does not have to be used at Christmas time only or just for Christmas food so it will help me out in general and am so glad they extended it
Well done Iceland for looking after those who are struggling to afford the RIP OFF prices ( and awful service ) of the other supermarkets so we can feed our children etc!! :-)

Gone SO downhill now
I am not a big spender , £450 in 5 months but that is still money you have LOST now
I can never shop in Asda again
The rewards app used to be good , now it is appalling and no 'rewards' received
On TOP of thatyou cannot amend or cancel and order online nor on the app so you have to ring up to cancel an order ( which I did BECAUSE I could NOT amend it! )
A BIG Christmas order cancelled with you now and am going elsewhere as the not able to amend at ALL ( not just the once a day I was told ) is beyond ridiculous
They try and make it the customers fault for daring to even try and amend an order more than once a day when I could not amend it AT ALL
Ridiculous , something has gone horribly wrong with them so i am staying with their huge rival as NO tech glitches at all , whatsoever and at least I get SOME 'points' and so some money back with them , which can be saved up for Christmas!

I used to love Virgin Media , was with them 9 years and I did not want to leave but everything has gone downhill
I do not even want to list all the reasons , just everything , to the point of beyond frustration and almost trauma
We need the internet in this day and age , it is vital!
Thankfully I have moved to a £15 a month unlimited data sim I have put in a router and it works an absolute treat , super fast , not abominable speeds we were getting with VM
NO problems or issues unlike always being on the phone or chat with VM whose customer service is mainly appalling and of course outsourced - I have had enough!

Absolute rip off
I was ''trying out'' Morrisons for the first time as Sainsbury's let me down badly
I am a struggling sole Grandparent carer of a severely Autistic teen and we are finding it very hard to get by
Someone recommended Morrisons and I was so grateful and hopeful until my order arrived today!
Firstly I was charged £20 more than what I actually received!!
They say most of it is just 'earmarked' but I live hand to mouth and cannot afford £20 on top of my shop to be earmarked
Then I treated myself to a £1 coconut water , they sent me a £4 one and the driver got chatting to me and did not TELL me about the coconut water substitution and £3 difference I would be charged for it and I was too BUSY with my Grandson that day to check my emails in time and I would NEVER spend that much on a drink!!!
ALL other supermarkets actually kindly let you keep the substitution for the price of the ORIGINAL item but no , Morrisons have my £3 , a struggling single Nan carers money!
I am STUCK with it and their maths do not add up as they say my shopping will come to £65 but I worked out what I actually received to around £55 so I have been ripped of by Morrisons to the tune of around £13 when I shopped there online to try and save some money
I am the skintest I have been in many months now and we BOTH suffer for it now! :-(
I WAS going to order a Chrsitmas delivery shop and use M weekly IF this ''first try'' worked out but it has been AWFUL and why on earth do you take MORE money than the actual shop IS when you do not NEED to , it beggars belief for those not well off where every penny counts
Most of what I ordered I ended up being charged MORE for ie £13 in total I am SHORT because of THEIR policy and substitution rules etc
Absolutely terrible and worst experience with a supermarket ever in my life , my goodness , I was hoping I had found my 'go to' online shop and when I dealt with them and saw my MINUS in my bank account I literally CRIED!!

These have been hanging around the house for many years , to the point I thought they were so old I best throw them away!
Then I came across this website plus excellent reviews and thought I might as well chance it , after all this time
There was a form to send it to a bank which I previously looked at BUT it went into great detail ie HOW did you get the money? WHO from? If a gift from a relative you have to have written PROOF the relative sent it to you etc!
I ran a mile and it was too formal and a pain to get a relative who sent some money around 8 years ago to confirm it in writing by post!
It was £40 and the bank online old note exchange made me feel like a criminal!!
This is simple , money you have around the house just doing nothing can be put to good use now , no questions re prove who sent it to you as a Birthday gift many moons ago lol and very straightforward and easy , so glad I found them as I can now take my own Grandson out for a TREAT day!! :-)

I love my friendly local postman!
I also love the new Ebay collection service as I do not drive and cannot get to a post office easily so this helps me out a LOT as I can sell some household items I do not need and buy some I do need
This way I have no expenditure at all and it helps me so much and they always collect when booked and bring the label with them with a friendly smile and we sometimes have a little chat , which is nice!! :-)
Shout out to the Orpington office which is my local and my regular postman is so lovely! :-) :-)

What an experience! I had a problem with a misrepresented caravan on their website I had to cancel
Static Caravans UK were FABULOUS and even refunded me my deposit and were happy to reimburse me and recoup it from the owner if necessary , the refund was received a day later than promised but I did panic thinking she had changed her mind about giving me my refund and that was my BILLS money for the month as we had to book a suitable 'replacement' holiday in quick time!
It all worked out very well in the end and am very thankful to Static Caravans UK and I have NO hesitation at all in recommending them
