Terrific engineer (Peter) arrived to explain the procedure of upgrading to fibre optic cable. He dug a trench, laid the cable and replaced the grass neatly. Then he attached yhe last 20 feet to raised bed and wall, again neatly. Very pleasant, very efficient man.

A simple search for seeds had become a saga of refusal to post to my address. One reservation - to suddenly receive a message announcing delivery 1-2 hours ahead didn't give me much warning, even of the day. Fortunately I could race home 20 miles, receive the package, and head back out to continue my 23 December rush. Would the books have been left on the doorstep in the rain? Would they have tried later? Is there a pickup depot?

I can't be doing with hard sell, in fact I usually walk away. But the member of the DFS Furniture team in Belfast was too professional to rely on pestering or flattery. Kate offered useful, addional and unexpected information about the settees we were considering in a manner that enhanced our evaluation of options rather than pushing a sale. We drove 30 miles to check measurements and returned not to DFS but to this sales assistant, Kate, for what we now knew we wanted. Patience, knowledge, customer care...and we were sold the furniture that meets out needs. Thanks Kate.
