Used to be a quality brand, not anymore. Bought two Black & Decker items in last 6 months. Power washer just gave up the ghost. No power. I also bought a drill bit set. Used one of the bits and it actually broke in the hole I was drilling. I'm not exaggerating. This is a rubbish rip off brand. DO NOT BUY!

Bought 10 l of Johnstone paint. Was assured by staff member that it was on a par with Dulux.....4 coats later I threw it in the bin, watery paint that covers nothing, may as well have used water mixed with milk.
Woodies for me is now synomous with low quality products thst aren't fit for purpose. From their cheap Chinese screws to their low quality lawn mowers.Shop here only if you like being ripped off.

Took 4 coats of white paint to finish room, chucked the rest in the bin and bought Fleetwood which managed the job beautifully in 2 coats. Avoid this brand, its muck and will be letting Woodies know I won't be buying anything from them ever again.

Bought an Aqualisa shower. Plumber came to fit. Not can do he said, UK and IE are not the same, took it back and they refunded me....complete waste of time, surely it doesn't take me to point this out to them.

Bought several pairs of these bootcut jeans in Letterkenny only for the elasticity to fail resulting in rippling effect across the legs and crotch of the jeans after 6 months.Paid close to 100 euro per jeans
Will not be buying these gimmicky jeans again, really disappointed.

Really good experience in Blanchardstown branch, had bought a retractable clothesline 3 weeks before but it broke, had the box etc and brought it back Wed 13 Sep with receipt.Was expecting them say tough luck you're psst the 14 day return instead a pleasant young chap examined it and immediately refunded money. Was really impressed with his manner and professionalism. Great to deal with such a good company and will do so again.

I cannot make sense of the create an account set up, it's utterly baffling, did anyone actually perform a user acceptance test? There is no logical intuitive flow... Its like some sort of soviet designed website from midc1990s....someone deserves a good kicking for this shambles.
