Had smart meters fitted

Had smart meters fitted, engineer was great.
However, we have had nothing but problems with Eon since moving into our property. We have spent hours on the phone for nothing to be resolved, ever. Estimated bills are well over what we use, yet these keep going up even though we're paying.
Smart meters have our total usage a month at £86.00, online our account is saying £220.00 a month, absolute joke.
So we have the absolute pleasure of spending at least an hour on the phone this morning to try and get this resolved, but it's only been 18 months so I guess I need to give them another 18 months to sort their own mess out.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Hi Tym, I'm sorry to hear of the problems you've had. You mention the bills are estimated? If so it's worth providing some actual meter readings. Although if you have a Smart Meter then they should be coming through to us automatically.

You may be paying more than your monthly usage due to previous debt on an account. I would recommend looking at the overview of all previous bills and payments to get a better idea; https://www.eonenergy.com/for-your-home/your-account/billing-and-payments/history

If we've supplied you for energy for 18 months and have had relatively frequent readings in this time then we will know pretty accurately what you should be paying. Even so it's not always perfect so you can adjust your Direct Debit up to 20% online.
