I paid nearly £1000 to have an EV charger installed immediately supplying all photographs required for the site survey. The install is straightforward with no complications. This was approved within a couple of days and then I was asked to book an appointment to have the EV charger installed. I was then sent a link to book an appointment which when clicked there were no appointments available and it asked you to try later. I continuously tried to book an appointment for an EV charge point to be installed over a two week period trying each day of various different times I was unsuccessful as there were no appointments available in my area. I wrote an email of complaint which I’ve never received a reply to. I was told I would have a an appointment scheduled in which has never happened. I can get the EV ChargePoint in installed by a local company for cheaper and quicker and I’ve requested a full refund. I’ve then been informed that it would take 7 to 14 working days to receive that refund octopus energy are offering a service that they can’t fulfil..
Update: I have been informed they will install this Sunday 9/11/25 so will give them one last chance and update

Unfortunately, slots for installations are released based on availability at the time of the request. They are released weekly, but might go quickly / we may not have new availability. Despite this, I am glad to see that my colleagues were able to escalate this for you and get you an appointment last week, which has now been successfully completed in your property.

Medical negligence
