Signed up for trial - have to to access the app, which is awful by the way. Extremely overwhelming. So I cancelled and deleted the app. Tell me why this company has tried half a dozen times to take 34.99 out of my account! Bank advised they would cancel it their end and to make sure I had cancelled subscription… I had. They’ve just tried again. Despite sending emails that confirm I’m no longer subscribed. Bank can’t stop them from repeatedly trying to take it. They can only help try to get the funds back if they take them successfully < Starling. Currently moving all my funds and direct debits to another bank that can keep me safer

Failed to provide service

I purchased a video doorbell device from Amazon and selected the option to have it installed for £90 and OrderWork is the company they use to provide this service.
I made contact via phone with OrderWork and the planned day of installation to confirm the time slot allocated (11-3). They confirmed it was correct and said they had also tried to contact the engineer for a more specific eta but couldn’t get in touch with him. They said once they did they would me back. When it got to mid day and I hadn’t heard anything I called again and was told the same. They has tried to contact him but been unable to and would call me when they had. This happened a few more times over the next few hours then upon making separate contact with Amazon I was told the engineer has given an arrival time of 2.45…….
Unfortunately at 2.55 there was still no sign. This time when I tried calling my calls went unanswered. So I contacted them via online chat. You asked if I could allow ten more minutes for him to arrive. He arrived at 3.40 and explained the work would take an hour. Unfortunately I had an appointment to attend at 4.15 when the work should have been completed so had to tell him I couldn’t wait. He then looked quite upset and said he had come from Manchester! This seems very strange. I live in Sheffield which is a significant distance from Manchester(not significant enough to make him late but seems a very long way for a job they’ve charged me £90 for). I hope the poor man was paid for his wasted journey after travelling all that way. I’ve already lost out on a days wages due to taking the day off work.
Reported the whole situation to Amazon and they are thankfully issuing a full refund and carrying out an investigation as they then falsified the online worksheet and put that the work was completed and he attended at 14.45! Thankfully I’ve photographic evidence to show this is untrue.

Spent £30- products defective after 10 days

Spent £30 on a case for my phone. The first case broke after less than 24hours so had to return. He replaced free of charge but after less than a week all the paint came off the case. The screen protector lasted less than a week also. I went to speak to them about it as I’d had both items less than a fortnight and he wasn’t interested. If I had to guess the cases and screen protectors are cheap ones bought in bulk - hence the poor quality- then resold at a high price
