ASTOUNDINGLY DREADFUL at representing but excel at invoicing.

If I could put less than 1 star or even into the minus category I would.
Senior legal staff, without talent, apparent knowledge, interest, empathy or understanding handled my simple case.
Astoundingly bad at representing but can invoice for every breath! I had to change solicitors, from S&G to another practice after months of delay, inaction, unbelievably badly spelt letters and bad grammar (I had to edit and correct. I wish I could publish them!) lack of interest, communication and knowledge.
The REPLACEMENT solicitors successfully sorted out the claim within weeks, were tremendously professional, charged fairly, listened, understood, made me feel represented, called me out of hours to reassure and update me, showed such kindness, understanding and knowledge I felt humbled.
When I complained to S&G and then escalated it, as they denied wrong doing and invoiced me some more! It took months for a negative result and I suspected strongly they had wanted me to just go away. It felt obvious too that no proper investigation had occurred.
The 'specialists' should be ashamed of themselves.
Note, this was during Covid, they should have just had the decency to say off the record 'we are over run with requests and will deal with enquiries based on highest revenue..'. I would have been happier with that.
