My partner and I recently joined Together Dental and we were both able to be seen on the same day, which was fantastic.

From the moment we first contacted them, the receptionist was absolutely amazing. Her customer service really stood out to me – something I look for in my own staff. No question was ever too much trouble and she even went above and beyond to rearrange appointments so we could both be seen together when a slot became available.

When we arrived, the practice was very clean, professional, and welcoming. The greeting we received immediately made us feel comfortable.

The dentist we saw was brilliant. I was extremely nervous, but they were incredibly gentle and talked me through everything step by step. They reassured me the whole time and gave some really helpful advice.

I was then booked in for a hygiene appointment the very next day, which again was very professional. They constantly checked that I was okay and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment.

I would 100% recommend this practice. They have completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist, and I no longer feel nearly as nervous about my future appointments.

I’ve ordered from The Fat Butcher several times now, both through my own account and my partner’s. Our first order was really good, which is why we returned — however, the quality has noticeably declined since.

We recently ordered 4kg of chicken with a use-by date of 14 February. When opening and portioning it on 12 February, some of the chicken had already turned green and smelled revolting, meaning the entire 4kg had to be thrown away.

We also ordered extra lean beef, which was very disappointing. It contained a lot of fat and even large chunks of bone/gristle, which was completely unexpected given the description.

Across recent orders, we’ve noticed:
Cuts sometimes below the stated minimum weights
Inconsistent quality, particularly after the first order
A clear decline compared to our initial experience

I also found the returns policy concerning for a food business. While it states that customers should contact them if food is unfit for consumption, it also says that perishable food cannot be returned and places responsibility on the customer for return shipping. This doesn’t inspire confidence when dealing with spoiled or unsafe meat, where returning the product isn’t practical or appropriate.

Because of this, and after reading other customer reviews, I didn’t feel confident that contacting customer service would lead to a fair resolution.

It’s a real shame, as the first order was promising, but sadly we won’t be ordering again and will now be looking for another butcher.

Great communication, delivery turned up within the time slot, delivery men were very professional and polite. Great first order!

Amazing customer service given, price was great very competitive. Availability was instant for a 40ft roll on off skip. delivery driver was professional & helpful (even when I requested it to be put in a tight spot). great communication for a pick up and swap over booked today. over all new supplier found don't look any where else!!
