The dentist kept me waiting for 15 minutes beyond my appointment time, which I didn't mind as sometimes things do get delayed, but there was no apology from the dentist for the delay, if I didn't turn up for my appointment I would be charged for missed appointment, if I thought I was going to be late then I would call and explain and apologise I would be late, seems the dentist can do what they like and keep you waiting, and apology would be a good start, they are not special and above patients!
