12deal.com is a reasonable newcomer amongst the likes of wowcher and mightydeals etc and one would think that it would try hard at pleasing customers to gain their trust and business, alas, not so. Their gimmick is an item that’s way overpriced from most everywhere else but you get it free. Then they offer other overpriced items. So I thought I’d try them out and take their £15 surprise box valued at around £99 as claimed. As the free item was claimed to be worth £19.99 it was a win win, yes? The free item was broken, but they did include another in the surprise box, or Jiffy bag to be more accurate. After checking all the items on eBay I came to a total of £17.45 for everything. 1st email was ignored, as was the second. So, I leave it to you all to judge for yourselves where this company should be on the list of “don’t go there” places to buy from.
