I had the pleasure of dealing with Jay to help me secure a vehicle! He went above and beyond every step of the way! Him and Nik are truly some of the best when it comes to car financing!

As a newcomer to Ontario, I made it clear I was only looking for prices and not ready to buy, especially since I didn’t have my driver’s license yet. Despite this, I felt pressured into signing a contract after they checked my credit.

The car I originally signed for was later said to be “sold,” and I was pushed into another one with promises that everything was the same. I clearly stated my budget ($1000/month), but no proper explanation of insurance costs was given. I later found out insurance alone was around $700/month, making the car completely unaffordable.

Delivery was also misleading (promised in 5 days, took over 3 weeks), and payments started before I even received the car. When I asked to cancel due to delays and affordability, I was refused and threatened with repossession and credit damage.

In the end, they just dropped the car at my house without notice.

Now I’m stuck with a car I can’t afford and can barely use — exactly what I said I wanted to avoid.

Very disappointing experience. Felt more like pressure selling than genuine customer care.

I was trying to check options between them and clutch and the sales manager starts trash talking about clutch. He said "what did you end up getting with clutch? they don't even have a physical store".

Trash talking your competitors to your clients isn't really a way to start gaining clients. Not that I favour one or the other it just makes me feel like the only good thing you have to offer me is how good you are at trash talking your competitor.

If i could give 0 stars I would. The vehicle they sold me in 2022 had issues from the moment it was dropped off. So many they tried to get me to sign a disclosure to release them from any issue that came up. That I could not tell anyone but a lawyer or immediate family. I never signed it and will tell everyone, if you dont want the vehicle sitting in your driveway unusable because you dont have enough money to make the payment and all the repairs that came with the unseen black journey that showed up white! Dont deal with this company!
I also made complaint with omvic and they conveniently lost my report!!!

this has been absolutely ridiculous. I do not, nor will I ever, purchase vehicles form this company. I merely have my truck serviced there. and, sadly, the new techs they have can't really do that. after they had to replace my front tires due to 4 terrible front end alignments, and finding out that they cannot do alignments on the '25 trucks due to a hardware/software issue (apparently they haven't bothered to update the hardware/software to handle '25 trucks). so, it's been a couple of years of text harassment. get my vehicle cleaned there, come in for this, come in for that. just constant, completely unsolicited spam and harassment. I have contacted the head office several times, asked the dealership to stop and just am completely ignored. the company couldn't care less that they are harassing people. as long as they get their spam out.
I finally had to file a complaint with the antispam agency in the hopes that this will finally get them to stop. the next step is criminal charges, a lawsuit...who knows. horrible company to deal with.

Checked their website and never gave consent for anything and next thing i know my credit score went kaboom 🙂. Getting annoyed by their calls and messages every single day. Stay away from website and the dealership as well.

Leased a 2016 Nissan Sentra in 2023. Asked for a reliable vehicle that wouldn’t need constant maintenance and repairs. They gave me the car having only done a presafety. Returned the vehicle so they could do the work to have the vehicle safe to drive. They did the mandatory maintenance and gave the vehicle back. As the transmission was also an issue I personally had to take it in and it was rebuilt being down a vehicle for the second time. Two months later the gaskets in the transmission also went being down for the 3rd time. A month ago the fuel pump went costing me $800. Yesterday I thought the whole front end tires and axel were gonna fall off. Reached above the tire and removed part of the suspension coil with my had that was extremely corroded. It’s going to cost me $1200 and now it’s down for the 4th time in two years. Wtf 401auto! This is a lemon clause claim at its finest.

I was sold a car by Mr. Shaw in Hamilton and it Is broke down within 3 months while still under warranty. 401 auto quoted me $8000 to replace an engine and refused to honor the active warranty. It was a total nightmare dealing with this place, stay away at all costs. Terrance Shaw should be locked up.

Total scumbag bag company these people literally ghosted me once they found out i was not yet eligible for financing zero communication

I would like to start off by saying- there is a reason there Google average reviews are all “positive” this company the London location will flag your one star review.. of course I used a fake name as my profile for obvious reasons of being harassed more by these people.
I won’t go in to greater details about this company however, what they do with there one star reviews speaks volumes about them.
Some key points of my experience and my friend had a similar one-
Run your credit without ever asking you( I was looking on there website and I walk into a dealership with paperwork drawn up without ever stepping foot in that dealership! Huge red flag.

Asks price of car… instead gives you a break down of bi weekly payments.

My all time favourite when you ask for a car fax.. they can’t provide one. I had to take a picture of a vin and I ran the vin myself.. low and behold the car had a lien on it.

Test drive- is in the parking lot.
They try selling you a car from another lot without ever seeing it.. example oh I would prefer this car.. oh in Cambridge we have that.. is there a way you can get it here.. nope let’s finalize paperwork and they can arrange that.. what kind of person buys a car without ever seeing it.

I could go on and on of all the shady business practices this place partakes in but you get the idea.
Stay as far away from dealerships such as these.
There is a reason a place can claim you have no credit will get you a car- that car will cost double the price because of your credit.
You would be better off try saving opposed to ruining your credit.

Just purchase a 2025 nissan murano platinum from Pembroke Nissan. Painless process. Outstanding staff both sales and service. Will highly recommend this dealership to all friends and family. High five to the Manager Katy Connors, excellent ambassdor for dealership and 401 Auto Group.

I only gave them a 1 because there's no option for zero stars.
I applied with these guys... shortly thereafter got an email AND text both saying that I had been approved and asking me to pick a time to go over my approval and pick out my car.
Lady calls me the next day asks me a couple of questions then tells me she will have to call back in a few minutes because she has to talk to the banks. Well I waited all day... and all morning the next day, when I called them it turns out I wasn't approved at all and that now they wanted a cosignor, which I don't have. Talk about a let down. 💔

If I could give this a -10 for dealing with this company, I definitely would. Over a year ago, I got my car the car I did not want and the car was a piece of crap to begin with, but was told not to worry because after six months, I could upgrade it. The six months has gone and we’re just over a year and again I was turned down due to too much negative equity in the car . Their advice is to pay off the car and then apply for another one. I originally filed with Better Business Bureau on this company and would tell everybody to stay away from them. So do yourself a favour stay away from Pembroke location nothing will come from that place. Change workers constantly with the excuse “ we’re trying to do better “ . They are a joke. Don’t do what I did go anywhere but here.

What a bunch of scam artists. They’re likely in working with the financing company to make sure you pay ridiculous interest, they get their kickback and the only victim is you. Don’t make the same mistakes and learn from the people who have already experienced their shady practices. They’ll promise you one thing and change it after the fact. You can bring it back? Yea right, they’ll make you chase your tail until it’s too late to do anything. Damage to the vehicle, don’t be surprised when what shows up doesn’t match what you thought you were buying. And for customer service, one person might wear 3 or 4 different hats so they cover off for each other very well so they don’t have to take accountability for anything. Don’t fall for it!

Military veteran here up in Pembroke Ontario. Stay away from this company. For it has crooked salesman that lack of communication is unbelievable. Misinformation on vehicles. I was told that a V6 could pull 11,000 lb and a truck which is not true. The fight after fight after fight I'll tell you I never had to do that much in the military. Please take my advice. This company is no good. Stay away. You will thank me

I applied for a car on August 9th 2024 and was contacted immediately by a salesperson. Over the weekend, we had a car picked out and a contract signed. Everything was done online and through text as I was working and didn't have the time to do a phone call or go into the office. As of now, September 3, 2024 I am still waiting to pick up the vehicle. I've been told that the tech was out sick and couldn't do the safety certificate. It took them two weeks to get someone from another office to come in. Another 3 or 4 days to finally get it done. I was then promised delivery of the vehicle over the past weekend and gave heard nothing since Friday. Not impressed. I'm already making insurance payments and loan payments.

This company bamboozled me into buying a car. I can't really afford.
I was reading the contract on my phone. Big mistake, I missed the part. That said, biweekly I thought I was gonna pay $305 a month it was biweekly omg With these electronic signing on the phone once you Sin 1 or click once. Everything gets signed so they say. I can't back out of the deal. I'm like okay fine.I'll try my best to pay for the car.
When the car was delivered to me, one hubcap was missing LO.L To drive down there and pick it up over a 100 km. The passenger side door wasn't opening and was improperly. The windshield washer sensor keep coming on even though window the time is full hold on, I'm not done yet. A week after that, the shocks on my back wheel is gone.Car bouncing all over the place.
I'm so disappointed

Buyer beware ** They prey on people with poor credit, selling vehicles barely road worthy for astronomical prices. Their vehicles are not legitimately safetied to a concerning degree, and will not stand by their vehicles. Furthermore, they push non-disclosure agreements so buyers cannot speak about their experiences, pressuring their customer as if the NDA is a normal formality following a service on the vehicle. I could go on and on, don't get tricked by these greasy salesmen.

I met Riham Al-Khatib who last year worked for them in order to lease a vehicle for a year. She told me that the way to do it would be to take out bank financing as if I were buying the vehicle and after a year 401 auto would buy it back from me. So I'll make my bi-weekly payments for 1 year only. After that, she handed me a bunch of documents, some of which she didn't even ask me to sign, probably so I wouldn't have to read them on the spot.

The end of this period approaching I contacted Riham who told me she no longer worked for them and blocked my number. I contacted their manager Esrnest Kwat after that and he said there's nothin he can do as Riham do not work with them anymore. No support no nothing.

I was devasted and I still am with a NISSA SENTRA 2018, 100 000km sold for more than 36,000$ ! (more than the market worth).

They are all liars and do not help at all even when THEIR salesperson is a scam. DO NOT GO THERE
