Terrible recent experience on a EUR 1500 order.

I've ordered wine 10 days before a party I hosted, and I was relying on this wine. They didn't care, hid behind the fine print, and never tried to make things better for the client.

UPS was pretty bad also.

Don't recommend if things go array. Pray for a lucky delivery.

Habe hier 6 Fl. besten Sauvignon Blanc bestellt und mich noch über den guten Preis gefreut. Nach Fl. 1 einen heftigen Säureschub mit anschl. ärztlicher Behandlung bekommen! Mitgeteilt wurde danach, dass ich die restlichen Fl. gerne auf meine Kosten (€ 26,60.-) zur prüf. zurück nach Prag schicken könne. Gesagt getan und bis heute- weder Antwort noch mein Geld zurück bekommen!?

Decent bottle for a fair price

Still waiting waiting for my delivery after approaching 2weeks. UPS also pretty rubbish and to blame, giving me false dates and times.

For an online service, not great at responding back to queries or assisting with where deliveries are.

So definitely a negative experience here and to help those who don’t seem to have the capacity to understand why it’s a bad service and given them 5 stars.

Excellent service. Ordered the wine about a week ago (beginning of Dec) it got shipped by ups almost immediately after the order and arrived a week later.

Very bad. They shipped the wine, but when it arrived the shipping company stored it in a self pickup box very far from my house and didn’t provide the code for pickup. After two days and many attempts to get the wine (while the wine was exposed to negative temperatures) with zero support from their side I gave up. They can have their wine back. Miserable service.

I don't understand the negative reviews I see here. I was, like someone below, initially hesitant, but the package arrived in two days. The wines were beautifully packed and shipped with UPS. I will be using them again.

Avevo paura dopo aver letto le recensioni, ma io mi sono trovato molto bene. Ho dovuto richiedere il cambio indirizzo di spedizione perché lo avevo indicato erroneamente, e il servizio clienti è stato molto rapido e ha cambiato l'etichetta subito. Prodotto arrivato in ottime condizioni e nei tempi stabiliti. Consigliato.

I was looking for a very specific wine from my home country of South Africa in Hungary, it was not available anywhere in the country and I needed it for an urgent special occasion. So pleased to say i ordered the bottles on Wednesday evening and the wine arrived by 4pm Friday. I was beyond happy with the amazing fast service! Would highly recommend them and will be a return customer.

Terrible experience.
They lost my wine and gave me a wrong tracking number - and then tried to make jt my problem. I spent hours over the last 6 weeks to get my money back and finally succeeded but will never go near them ever again.

Hesitant to order because of the few reviews here. Unnecessary. Fast delivery as promised even on Terschelling, an island of The Netherlands. Only improvement point would be a free delivery when ordering a certain value of wines!

I was looking for a particular champagne and 8Wines had it at a reasonable cost. I assume it was shipped from the Czech Republic so I wasn’t surprised it took a week to arrive via UPS (such a superior company compared with many UK delivery outfits). It was well packaged and I look forward to drinking the wine (my wife’s favourite). I’ll order again I’m sure.

I ordered a bottle of wine like a present for my husband and the presentation is HORRIBLE! Was a column where I wrote a message for my husband and this came on a piece of A4 paper, crinkled which was thrown inside the box😡
how can I give this like a present???? I will never order from you guys

SCONSIGLIATO: ho fatto un ordine per la prima volta su questa piattaforma. Il totale delle bottiglie ordinate era 9 e me ne sono state recapitate 8. Ho chiesto spiegazioni con due mail che sono state totalmente ignorate.
Ovviamente ho anche perso i soldi della bottiglia che non mi è stata consegnata.
Non farò mai più alcun ordine su questo sito e lo sconsiglio vivamente.

Il prezzo del vino che dovevo comprare e che era stato messo in carrello il giorno seguente e’ stato raddoppiato inspiegabilmente.
Ho fatto reclamo e la risposta è stata la seguente: Grazie per la risposta.
Ho controllato il vino e purtroppo la vendita in cui era incluso il vino è già terminata. Il prezzo di oggi è 114,84 EUR + IVA.
Scorretti non poco

I'd love to leave a good review, but I'm afraid I cannot. I ordered wine last week and paid for it along with a fairly high delivery charge. I was told the wine would be with me by Friday, 6th Oct at the latest. I have guests coming tomorrow and I had told them about the wines I had got for the occasion. I received a tracking facility that said my wine would be delivered between noon and 3 p.m. today. My wine has not arrived. On looking at the finer detail on the UPS tracking site, it is in Germany, Nurnberg to be precise as of 3 p. m. today. I have asked for a refund but I have just had excuses about UK customs. Unless UK customs stop the wine in Germany, then I have not even been given an honest excuse. I'll be avoiding this company in future and I advise people ordering from the U.K. to be careful. I won't be recommending to my friends.

Bestilte 11 flasker af en vin jeg på forhånd kendte. Vinen smagte ikke som den jeg havde købt i DK. 8Wines.com betaler ikke returnering af vinen når den er dårlig ej heller for de flasker som er åbnet.
