I always read reviews before going anywhere and I'm glad to say the service provided by the Tipton branch was superb from start to finish. The whole process was hassle free and a courtesy car provided which is a bonus for a single parent!!!! Video sent to show what work was required which is a nice touch.
My experience is 100 % positive and from my dealings have no problem recommending them to other people. Of course there will be negative reviews but I must say you always get these and for me should be ignored!!! Thanks to all the staff for there professional manner first class service!!!

What excellent service from A1 Clutches Tipton. Competitive price for a new clutch for my Hyundai i40 and when the issue was found that had caused the clutch to slip, a leaking gearbox seal, A1 not only called to explain the issue fully, but also sent a video. From start to finish, I felt A1 cared, wanted the business and were very helpful and courteous. The icing on the cake for me was the use of a courtesy car while mine was off the road. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastically quick service to recover my car and replace clutch and flywheel within 24 hours of first phone call. Great communication from Rick and so much better than my local garages, most of which didn't respond, even though they said they would.
Armani was very thorough and friendly when we collected the car.

These guys couldn't do enough to help me. I booked in my old MR2 for a new clutch only to find that after testing the team found that the gearbox was on its way out, I picked up a gearbox off the net and they were happy to have it shipped there. The gearbox company messed me about something rotten, but Becky and the team at the Cannock branch were so patient and so understanding. When the gearbox finally turned up they fitted it at no extra charge. the fitting was great and even dealt with earthing issues. All my cars in future will be going here. Well done guys and thank you for all your hard work.

What a cracking company to deal with. My clutch went and when I rung up was told to get my recovery company to leave it on the front and put the keys through the letterbox. By 8.30 this morning they had started the job and I got my car back by 4 pm. Superb service with a two year warranty. Thank you to Tony.

I would like to thank Sunil in the Derby centre for fixing
my burnt out clutch in my Fabia. We are on holiday from Ireland and needed it fix in a jiffy to get home. I rang around about 15 places and they could'nt or would'nt help. But thanks to A1 Clutches Derby we were back on the road in that jiffy and got home safely.

My car started rattling one evening, and the next morning when I took it to the local garage they pointed me towards a1 clutches as they were swamped. They got it so right! I took it straight there and they looked at it immediately. They told me it needed a new clutch and that they could do it in 4 days time. They got me a price. I had googled average prices for my car whilst waiting and their price was significantly under.
I took it in and the manager recognised me immediately. The work was done quickly and they communicated clearly with me. They were helpful and talked me through how it had changed when I returned and how best to drive it now. I have since been back for my 500 mile check (which was done while I waited) where they tweaked it and returned it to me.
They were friendly and helpful and I can't fault them.

Took in my Renault Trafic van with gearbox issues. New gearbox and clutch fitted within a day at a very competitive price. At the 3000 mile service there was a slight issue with the selection of 1st gear and reverse. Tony kept the van, repaired it and fitted another new clutch, all with no hassle. Great customer service from Tony and the team.

My ancient Volvo V40 was refusing to go into reverse gear. After going to another garage I was advised to go to a specialist. A1 Clutches were considerate and helpful, booking me in at short notice. The mechanic showed ingenuity and experience in fixing the problem without needing to buy any parts so I only had to pay for labour. Delighted with this, would recommend to anyone.

My husband recently took my Mother-in-Laws Toyota car for a new clutch. Amazing service from Cannock, car repaired and collected within one day . The cost of the repair was also a surprise and very reasonable. We would certainly recommend the company .

Had a new clutch fitted which was £75 cheaper than next nearest quote. Took my car to get the clutch checked at 500 miles as recommended, great service all round.

Supplied Clutch, Fly Wheel, Gearbox and slave cylinder.
They supplied me with a video of the inspection so that I could obtain a second opinion so they were transparent and trustworthy.
The car drives very well after the work and the job was done swiftly, at very short notice with good communication. The service team were polite and supplied me with a guarantee on the parts.

Big mistake that I make I should’ve read the comments before I take my car to Tipton A1 clutch ( garbage ) not garage) to get my car Work on there customer service management team are bull crap I sorry I take my car to the Tipton A1 clutch garage I should’ve read the reviews my mistake they are racist and disrespectful to you when you start asking questions about your car I am so so upset when I get my car back from the Tipton A1 clutch garage £2470 for a clutch and flywheel change on a 4 year old Jaguar

My 2005 kia sportage was in a mess clutch gone completely slave cylinder clutch fork and guide tube recked thanks to A1 Tipton genuine parts were sort from dealer (not available off the shelf) 3 days car was back running like it was new excellent job done by the team.Just had 500mile check good work guys and staff all friendly and look after there customers 👍

Review from Robert Phillips had work done on my car after I had an issue putting it into gear and they collected it from another garage willing to carry out the job but I choose A1 due to reviews, costing £400 more than previous garage but I thought it would better going with an apparent award winning (specialist) I couldn't of been more wrong if I tried, got the car back the first time after paying £950 and asked how did the gear box look expecting a diagnosis to the fault but got you told us it was the gearbox in response!! So they didn't even check it over to see if it was just a cylinder that needed replacing but they advised me to change the clutch?? And gave me the price without VAT so it seemed good and added it on after the works done which is sneaky to say the least, but that's not even the start I got in my car and put my foot on the clutch, straight away I knew it wasn't right and asked the manager if that's how a new clutch should feel, he said yes he TEST drove the car and it will stiffen up over time so I drove up the road 2 minutes and the clutch was sticking and the gearbox was clunky and nothing like it was before the job and then the gearbox locked again but I managed to get it into gear after a minute, I took it back the next day and they said it will be fixed soon but I wasn't very optimistic at that point, I returned again to collect my car and again I was told it been test driven so off I went to collect materials for a job I just took on thinking it must be ok now, I got from the garage in Birmingham to stechford and the gearbox completely locked again the exact reason I had them look at it in the first place but with a new gearbox and clutch, so they had to recover it from stechford, so I had a refurbished gearbox new clutch and slave cylinder that I paid for but I have the problem I had before they even touched it, so now I know myself I didn't need a new gearbox clutch or slave cylinder I paid for I needed a master cylinder that's it! because now they changed that it drives perfectly, I called to advise them of the inconvenience and asked if they would rectify the issues but they advised nothing will be done apart from fixing the car!! I trusted A1 but they took advantage of me big time and I wouldn't reccomend them to my worst enemy. 0 stars unfortunately it was a horrendous experience and I massively regret choosing A1 and I'm dreading the mandatory services to keep my warranty that I'll definitely need I wouldn't trust them to service my lawnmower so I'll have to call head office and see what can be done

Car written off on they final test drive with 2 of the Colleagues test driving they said they where Listening for some type of noise plus they want me to pay for something iv not received £975 pound for a service I haven’t received I’ll see them in court I’m a 6 k car down what a joke
