I took out a loan with AAR Financial…
I took out a loan with AAR Financial expecting fairly standard terms, but what I experienced instead was completely unreasonable. The fees and interest they’ve piled on are beyond excessive—at this point, it feels less like lending and more like exploitation.
What’s especially frustrating is how far this is from what legitimate financial institutions do. Banks charge modest, transparent fees—sometimes as little as $10 for certain services, while AAR Financial seems to stack on charges in a way that quickly spirals out of control. It doesn’t feel proportionate or fair by any stretch.
On top of that, their customer service is extremely poor. It takes several days to receive a response to emails, and when they finally do reply, they don’t even properly address or resolve the issue that was raised. It feels dismissive and unhelpful.
There is also a complete lack of compassion. They appear unwilling to work with customers or offer any reasonable flexibility even in difficult situations. Instead the communication often comes across as aggressive, with threats of legal action rather than any genuine attempt to find a solution.
Overall, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The combination of excessive fees poor communication, and lack of customer care makes this company, in my opinion, deeply concerning to deal with. I would strongly caution anyone considering borrowing from AAR Financial these practices feel unfair, predatory, and far removed from responsible lending. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET ANY TYPE OF LOAN WITH THESE PREDATORS.
Negative stars here
Negative stars here. I remember them wanting 20 references. Made me do FaceTime calls to confirm myself. I paid every single payment and asking for one payment to be deferred and they wanted proof of why I wanted it deferred. Then made me double pay the next time. All of a sudden everyone is a manager and "read my contract" when I asked for my payment schedule to see what I even had left. Just to discover my 80 dollar bi weekly payment was 60 dollars in interest payments and 20 towards the actual loan. Insanity. They are rude, entitled and demanding. Never again

I faced major challenges with this company, because of their customer support, but I have to praise meazontrël_ who was crucial in assisting me.
Privacy Breach
I am filing this complaint against AAR Mortgage for a serious privacy breach and failure to address the issue responsibly.
On March 23, a representative from AAR Mortgage, Mehakdeep Kaur, sent an employment verification request to a general company email address at my workplace. The email contained my full name, employment information, and an attachment with my government-issued identification card. This inbox is accessible by multiple coworkers, meaning my private information was exposed to unauthorized individuals.
I contacted AAR Mortgage to express my concern and request that they take the matter seriously, including confirming whether they would update their privacy procedures. Based on the response it appears they do not take the protection of client data seriously.
I am seeking accountability for this privacy breach and assurance that AAR Mortgage will review and improve its data handling practices to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Long term customer
Long term customer. Duplicate payments taken from my account and promised to be returned immediately - took over 2 weeks to refund the money. Struggling with an ABI and needed to miss a payment. When I paid it later, the person I was dealing with called me a "liar", would not assist me with rescheduling the payment, penalized me $ 95 and threatened to double my payment.
When told I qualified for a reloan at a lower rate, it involved 50 emails back and forth and excessive documentation requests, some more than once. Kept being told after I signed everything funds would be in my account the next day for about one week. Never showed. Then told I did not qualify.
Horrible customer service. These people forget who pays their salaries.
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst loan company I have ever dealt with. They take forever to process the application. You give them all the information they ask for initially, they approve you and say that funds will be in your account within a certain time. Then they come back asking for more documents. For my original loan and topics up, both loans took month for it to be all done. The relaunch required me to put a lean on my truck and when we paid the loan off in full after the truck had been in an accident, they didn't remove the loan. The loan has been paid off for close to 4 months now and my truck still has a lean against it holding up the whole Seattlement process and when you call the account manager they either dont pick up or don't return your calls and emails. When I call the office, and ask for a manager, they avoid transfering me to one. I will never deal with this company again.

Its being dragged through broken glass. Forever wanting every document there is describing your finances. Ya give them it n they still hound u for more documents on sake stuff u just gave them .personally was approved n again more bs . Definitely will not deal with AAR Financial.
Beware
As far as I'm concerned, AAR is a scam. I spent over a month working with them for a small loan, where they were going to pay out my payday loans. A contract was signed. Deadlines when they said they would pay came and went. When I finally sent an email saying pay up or terminate the contract, they said they were refusing the loan because of NSFs on my bank account. Many of those were caused due to their promised payments that never happened. I now have to make sure there weren't any liens placed on my vehicles. They should be ashamed of their practices and of taking advantage of people in a tough spot.
STAY AWAY!!
STAY AWAY!!! One year ago I was desperate for a loan as my grandfather was dying 6000 kms away from me. When the approval came in I was overjoyed I'd get to see him before he passed, I signed the loan and bought a plane ticket. At NO POINT in the loan process was I EVER told they would put a lien against MY CAR!
In fact after going through the process to trade in my car, the dealership told me it was on it, I HAD NO IDEA. Now in order to upgrade my car I need to pay out the loan in it's entirety. Which judging by googling even if I did pay out, there's still a chance they won't remove the lien (google it, one guy is on YEAR TWO of trying to have it removed).
They exploited a desperate person and never went through the documents at any time or drew attention to the fact that they were putting a lien on my personal property, I was in the dark. BEWARE. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

AAR financial took a lien out on my…
AAR financial took a lien out on my vehicle without a loan ever being funded, this was two years ago. I found out about this two weeks ago and have made multiple calls and 99% of those calls result in them hanging up on me. I did get through to one guy who told me it was a mistake and it would be removed but he’s not allowed to send me any written confirmation of this, to this date the lien is still active. When I called again I was told since the lien is active why not just take out a loan with AAR Financial instead of having the lien removed. Now I was already told previously this was in process which is obviously not the case. Recommend you exercise great caution when dealing with this company. I will be escalating this further, since my calls are being ignored.
NO help , stay clear unless you got a ton of money
They claim that they want to help , and 99%approval but they truely don’t listen and extremely unprofessional. They give you hope and with out actually talking to you they make a fast decision even though I had an explanation.
Based on my personal experience
Based on my personal experience, AAR Financial has been extremely disappointing. Their process felt misleading, unprofessional, and stressful. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are scam
We had a loans officer
We had a loans officer. Very disrespectful. t very aggressive on his emails. Thankfully we were able to speak to management and get switched to different loans officer. Rapid calling emails were very unprofessional.
But thankfully we no longer have to deal with Siddharth Singh from aar and we have the joy of another who is very professional and fixed the issue in a timely manner

Very harassing horrific company to deal with. Was a horrible mistake taken a tiny loan from them. They over charge with internet and late fees if you dont give them your banking info. They Send threatening emails and do not communicate well at all.
I was going through very hard times and ended up filing a C.P. they refused to sign and join the C.P. they sent me Harassing emails threatening me. Even though I sent e-transfers instead of given my banking information again to them because they would pull more then my payment. They charged me nsf fees of over 2 grand. I sent by weekly payments on day payment is due and email them proof and they atill charge me late fee and nsf fee. They also ignore emails when I tried to communicate with them during financial difficulties. If I could turn back time I would of never ever borrowed. Do not borrow from this company. Worst mistake I've ever done.
Absolutely terrible company !!
Absolutely terrible company !!! Do not even start an application
The took all my personal information ( driver's license, bank statements, direct deposit called all 6 of my references to verify who I was ) said I was approved then the next day they wanted more documents after saying I WAS ALREADY APPROVED!
Then Day 4 they told me they wouldn't move forward with my application
Absolutely scam of a company ! You well feel very integrated after awhile
Poor Service, Do not Use
Absolutely terrible place to get your loan from! I have never in my life had to go through a 4 day process like that to get a loan.
They put a lien on my vehicle without even telling me! Whenever I call in to make changes to my account, it takes days to get an answer from anyone.
They do not let you defer ANY payments whatsoever.
Office staff are extremely rude, and very pushy. I had to give 10 references to these people before they could re-loan me. They then sent out text messages to all these references just to confirm I was who I said I was after providing multiple identification and mailing address information.
Do not waste your time! You will be stuck paying these people off for the rest of your life. The interest rates are straight murder!
Am I scammed?
I applied for a loan then they asked for some documents then I sent. After I sent the documents, I didn’t hear from them. As I was desperate to look for a loan, I contacted them after 2-3 weeks. They processed my loan and everyday, they asked some documents or information from me. After 5days of giving info or docs, they told me that I’m approved. Then I was waiting for documents to sign and called them to make a follow up with the documents but still asking for a collateral which is my car.unfortunately my car was not registered under my name. They accepted it and sent my husband an authorization to sign that I can use the car for collateral. I thought everything was fine already. Called them about the funding. Harikumar Patel, was the agent who I communicate with, told my that the system is not working so they can send the funds by monday and I will receive it by Tuesday. Monday morning, my references phoned me that someone was calling them from Aar Financial. I wonder why they were still calling when they already telling me that they will send the funds by Monday or I already signed the contract. I phoned them Tuesday and telling them that I didn’t receive the funds. They told me that they want me to change the name of the registration of my vehicle or asked my husband to be my co signer. Now I got worried and so stressed, if they will take money from my account even I never received any funds from them or just take my car away. Am I scammed? Reading the reviews, made me so worried.

Very pathetic app fraud company who offers 10k loan with ₹8 service charge and ₹728 interest but upon approval they are charging ₹4000 service charge and ₹100 interest. Please don’t use this fraud company app unless you want to loose your hard earned money. I am not getting option to upload pics or else I would have done it.
