As first-time buyers, we were quite overwhelmed by the survey process initially, but Joe Allen-Aldus was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Communication throughout was fantastic - always responsive, helpful and happy to answer questions in detail.

The Level 2 survey report itself was incredibly thorough, detailed and easy to understand, with excellent attention to detail and clear explanations of both the important issues and the more routine maintenance items. What really stood out was the post-survey consultation, which was invaluable in helping us understand the property realistically and confidently without feeling alarmed unnecessarily.

After a previous surveyor missed major issues when buying our first property we were apprehensive about getting a survey again but Joe put us at ease straight away with his knowledge and professionalism.

Our buying process hasn’t been straight forward buy throughout Joe has gone above and beyond for us.

He fit us in at very short notice, carried out an incredibly thorough survey, letting us know about important issues straight away before the report was even ready, and then took the time to talk us through everything in detail so we fully understood the issues.

He was incredibly helpful during the negotiation stage too, advising us on what to say, which points to include, and giving us all the information we needed to make a fully informed decision about the property.
