We recently instructed AB Heritage to undertake a Heritage Impact Assessment near Hartlepool. Communication was great from the outset and the final report was delivered promptly. The quality of the report was great and did not need any final amendments. AB Heritage send a draft for review before the final report is issued which is a great help as some consultancies do not offer this without being asked.

We commissioned AB Heritage to carry out a historical investigation and impact assessment to support a complex planning application for 3 conjoined Grade 2 listed buildings on a city centre site in St Albans. The project involved reopening a redundant basement for retail use and converting the upper floors to two flats. The heritage consultant communicated well to identify the requirements and the report was very thorough and completed in good time. We subsequently obtained planning consent and have since asked AB Heritage to carry out an impact assessment for a further minor planning application relating to the site.

An archaeology report is an essential planning requirement particularly in historic cities and AB Heritage impressed me with their thoroughness and provided a professional report with plans, photographs and a very helpful Executive Summary.
