The wedding course was great. Self learning at your own pace followed by script writing and presenting within a time frame that is like real life. The support networks from FB groups to regular Q and A sessions are extremely supportive. My mentor was speedy at responding to emails and gave positive feedback at every stage. Highly recommend AMC

I have felt fully supported during all parts of the course, receiving detailed and constructive feedback which will be very helpful to me moving forward in my celebrancy career.

I have found the entire experience so interesting. The modules were clear and have actually given me insight into things that I had never really considered about support for the end of life.
I have loved the mentorship with my lovely mentor Sarah Wickham. Her guidance and feedback has been inspirational and she has really helped me understand the difference in delivery and wording that can make such a difference to the outcome of a script. She's been absolutely fabulous! I finished my mentorship yesterday but have 2 funerals booked already! I feel so well supported that I'm raring to go! Thank you AMC - I'm so glad I found you!

A great process, good website portal, instructions and mentoring. Some video's and parts of the process could improve. Some aspects were misleading. Overall the course is well thought through and comprehensive. The vibe overall is truly lovely, you feel part of a very warm and welcoming community. 5 stars for the community build aspect and feeling supported remotely... great course and would 100% recommend it.

What an amazing experience. To start, I had no real appreciation of what I had signed up for. There is a lot of hard work involved in the process of becoming a wedding celebrant, but the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and its associated mentors are very well organised, very supportive and quick to respond to queries. The peer support via their Facebook platform is also very useful.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the course, learnt so much and the modules are easy to access and well designed. My mentor was friendly, approachable and highly knowledgeable and her feedback was fundamental to my successful completion of the course. I would highly recommend!

I enjoyed the course materials, especially being able to work at my own pace and, at times, in ways that suited me. The course was very practice-focused, addressing real issues faced by funeral celebrants, and I found this very helpful.

The training is well structured and thoughtfully paced. I loved the balance between self-study for the core foundations and the opportunity to work with a mentor on ceremony script writing and live sessions. It felt both supportive and empowering.

The Facebook group is such a lovely, encouraging space, and the ongoing drop-ins and Q&As have been incredibly helpful throughout.

I’ve come away from the training feeling genuinely confident, inspired, and ready to get started.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the self study. Learning about something that excites me is so much fun. My mentor has been incredibly helpful, shout out Helen J, and although nerve wracking, performing my script felt very special. I am proud I have graduated and am thrilled for what’s next!

I have just completed my Funeral Celebrant course with AMC, and I’m delighted with the depth and breadth of the study modules. The course was both challenging and thought-provoking, encouraging me to think carefully through each aspect of the role and to carry out research within my local area to support my future business. My mentor, Christine, provided excellent guidance throughout. She challenged me to continually refine and improve both my writing and delivery, and was encouraging and supportive at every stage. I spent a considerable amount of time researching different training providers before choosing AMC, and I’m very pleased with that decision. I now feel confident and excited to begin my new business as a celebrant.

One of the most special things about the AMC is the sense of community. I have been blown away by how supportive fellow participants are - and the support from the mentors has been incredible. From Laura’s incredible podcasts (I’ve listened to every episode!), to Nikki’s superb guidance on symbolic rituals, to Helen’s impromptu video clarifying how to prepare for the recordings (which helped bust some myths), to Penny’s ever constant (and super speedy!) steers to every query and question raised on the AMC group. I’d like to say a special thank you to my mentor Julie. Her story inspired me hugely from the beginning, and she brings such warmth and ‘realness’ to every conversation. Julie’s feedback, support and encouragement has helped me enormously. She’s helped me to trust my own authentic voice, and to see that a new amazing journey (one I’ve hesitated to start for years) is now just beginning. All in all the experience has surpassed my expectations, thank you AMC!

The Academy has given me so much - a depth of understanding; tangible experiences; incredible, supportive mentorship from the best of the best; access to a beautiful community of humans and the confidence and belief in myself to get out there. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I have loved training with the AMC. Everything from the fresh, clear resources and course materials through to the great support and advice I have received from my mentor Julie.

But most of all it is the sense of community! I have felt included and welcome from day 1 - with regular check ins possible, an online community at your finger tips. You are never alone!

My mentor put me totally at ease and was always available with some VERY good advice. She was amazing. The website is easy to use, you can go at your own pace and help is always at hand on other platforms too. Go for it!

Excellent course, very thorough and has stood me in good stead to take things forward. I was actually privileged to have been trusted to lead a ceremony whilst still training and was able to see how all the information I learned could be put into action.

Studying with the AMC has been perfect for me. I specifically wanted a programme that I could take at my own pace, so the self study component was really important. I also knew I would need people and practical experience to help me really embed my learning, and that's where the weekly Q&A discussions online, the Facebook community and the dedicated time with a mentor for each qualification, really appealed to me. And it has not disappointed!

I have just completed my Namings qualification and have learned a lot not just from the excellent online materials, but also from the experience and wisdom of my mentor, Sonal. Thank you for making even the final assessment an enjoyable experience, Sonal, and for inspiring me onto even greater things on the path to being a Master Celebrant.

The mix of self-study and mentor support really worked for me. I really enjoyed moving through each stage at a pace that worked for me and felt really supported through the mentoring stage.
I would really encourage anyone thinking of doing this to just give it a go, I managed to fit it in while still working three days a week, family responsibilities etc. and I'm now qualified and ready to go with my business.

The courses offered me a great way to train, the self study at your own pace with the opportunity to access great support from the other resources, the weekly Q&A sessions and support from the larger AMC community of both experienced celebrants, people who were on the same path as me, and mentors. There was always a resource to help me when I needed it. Then I loved the opportunity at the end of self study to learn from the best, the chosen mentors who guided me and shared their knowledge and experience and there critique and business know how to enable me to create with all that input, and continue to offer the best ceremonies. I enjoyed all of it and learnt so much about myself, gained confidence and knowledge that I need to become a successful celebrant
