If you're involved in a workplace dispute, ACAS can provide very basic information about certain things. Some of their agents are helpful and professional.. most don't appear to be. I was hung up on a few times, which is very frustrating, and purely because the agents appeared to lack knowledge.

I also discovered that the ACAS (early) conciliator was absolutely butchering my detailed (Ai generated) emails to the my employers legal team.. something I'm really not pleased about. Unsurprisingly, once I started communicating directly with their lawyers, the settlement process was expedited.

I navigated my own complex case using ONLY Ai (ChatGPT and Google Ai).. and am on the cusp of a substantial settlement.. their lawyer is drafting the COT3 document now..

So my advice.. if you're in a workplace dispute.. engage with ACAS early conciliation.. purely because its mandatory. Otherwise, forget ACAS.. Ai wil give you highly detailed information that you'll never get from ACAS. It will draft all your correspondence and reliably keep you on track, legally.

You do, however, need to manage Ai.. as they start off wildly positive about everything lol.. so you need to reinforce in your initial interactions that you seek pragmatism. They can then become over-cautious.. so it's best to use at least 2 different Ai models.

Webinar regarding Managing Grievances within the workplace. Overall the presenter was clear, easy to understand, and gave practical information that I can use within my day to day role.
I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a better understanding of the grievance process.

Ignore emails seeking update upon submissions - VERY EMPLOYER BIAS.
Such a shame it's now a simple processor on the way to court. No longer the helping hand to any solution but just employer’s advocate as evidently, hurt, harmed and damaged employees should just go away and do another job even if they had this one for 20 years!

It was very informative, would have been even better if the presentation was accessible just before to allow it to be printed and notated on as you go through the presentation for ease to keep up

No help what so ever..romi staff member was awful rude didn't want to help. She didn't want to listen to my actual problems am having since last with mu HR. So many breaches my HR .. but acas didn't give no actual help. Why are they open if u cant help. Another money making scheme
