Acclaim Driving Reviews

I honestly couldn’t recommend my instructor enough! My instructor was Gilbert Menken. He has been absolutely amazing with me from start to finish and has been so patient, supportive and encouraging throughout my whole driving journey.

After having a few difficult nerve-wracking tests, it would have been so easy to lose confidence, but he never gave up on me. He always knew exactly what I needed to work on, explained things clearly, and helped me understand not just what I was doing wrong but why. He was always honest with me while still making me feel confident that I could eventually do it.

He put so much time and effort into helping me improve, from practising difficult areas and test routes to working on the little things that were holding me back. Even when I was nervous or doubting myself, he stayed calm and reassuring and always believed I could pass and I am so so grateful i could’ve never done it without him.

After finally passing my test, I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to have had throughout the whole process. I’m so grateful for all his patience, advice and support. He didn’t just teach me how to pass my test he has also taught me how to become a safe and confident driver.

If you’re looking for a driving instructor, I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. 100/10 from me, and I’m genuinely so grateful for everything he’s done for me! 🚗❤️

Worst driving school ever. Only interested in getting your money

Really grateful for the lessons my instructor gave me. Drilled the basics of driving and prepared me for the road practically making it muscle memory. The continuous corrections slowly made me a better driver. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Huge thanks to Bally for the support and guidance throughout my driving lessons. Passed first time because of him! Patient, professional and friendly instructor you could ever ask for .

I highly recommend to my instructor, Bally to anyone learning to drive and pass first time. Thanks again to Belly and AcclaimDriving.

I did an intensive 5 day course with Tom Harris and he was amazing. He was patient and helpful and made me feel more than confident to pass my test!! Thanks so much Tom!

Acclaim Driving are an amazing driving school, their team are really helpful if you have any issues, and booking lessons is really easy. My instructor Hamish was really great. He taught me everything I needed to know and more in the relatively short time frame I was aiming for, meaning I was able to pass first try. I would recommend Acclaim Driving to anyone.

My instructor was really great and it was easy to book lessons.

Overall it was a good experience because I passed first time but I had to change driving instructors a week before my test due to my first instructor leaving the company which left me in a tricky spot. Fortunately though my second instructor Nathan was brilliant (5 stars for him) and he was very calm and patient which helped a lot with my nerves.

Graham has been brilliant from start to finish with me! I would highly recommend to anyone, without him I wouldn’t have been able to do it! So chatty and friendly and I will miss the laughs we had ! Passed today with only 8 lessons. Thank you Graham you absolute legend.

Learning to drive with Rich Cotter through Acclaim Driving was a great experience! Rich has an excellent demeanour for teaching, combining patience, calmness, friendliness, good humour, and easy to understand instruction that is tailored to each individual. I always really looked forward to our lessons and I will certainly miss them now that I have passed my test.

As for Acclaim as a company, I found their website straightforward to use and their customer service excellent; I experienced the odd website issue here and there, but any problems were rectified almost immediately through short, straightforward calls with Acclaim's customer support.

I would 100% recommend both Acclaim in general and Rich specifically!

Rich made learning to drive straightforward and enjoyable. He explained everything to me and gave me the opportunity to do mock tests that I found really useful. I passed first time, thank you Rich.

Habtom is an excellent instructor! He was my instructor for an intensive course and by the end of it I was more than confident to take my test! He is calm and knowledgeable, and is great for new learners trying to learn the fundamentals as well as people preparing for their test. I would 100% recommend him to all!

Thank you very much to Adrian McKinlay for helping me pass my driving test.

Before I started driving I was very stressed and anxious about it, however when I got in the car with Graeme he was a very helpful and patient instructor while always made sure I was comfortable and going at my own pace. Thanks to Graeme I passed my test first try. I couldn’t have had a better instructor.

Acclaim is excellent. Easy to contact and to solve any issues if any. Booking and payment process is very simple and the information on the website is clear.
My instructor was very helpful and patient and helped me work, not only on my driving, but also on my confidence to pass my test.

Writing this after passing my manual test first time at Cannock Street!! Zed Patel is an amazing driving instructor. Previously I had spent 40 hours with another instructor from A Class, who was sucking my money out and I felt stuck at square one. When I switched to Acclaim, and picked Zed, it felt like a natural fit. Within the first lesson I instantly dropped my anxiety and worries about driving. Zed makes learning easy, straightforward, comfortable and relaxing. When mistakes happen he is calm and understanding, helping you to understand what went wrong and how to correct it. Very kind and patient instructor. Would thoroughly recommend!! In 20 hours I passed first time with only 3 minors.
