Fast, Efficient and Professional
I started using Acumen since 2018 and my experience has been smooth, easy and fantastic. I started working with Tony and he handed me over to Richard Montlake in 2023 (for my remortgaging) after he retired and since then, Richard has been very amazing/helpful. He’s very thorough, experienced, detailed and understanding, and makes sure that he gets the best deal for me.
This is my second renewal with Richard and he’s done everything before giving me a call to work through the details which only took us less than 7mins (very efficient indeed). I’ll definitely use your company again & again because of Richard and I’m already recommending my friends/family too. I'm really glad I went with Acumen
I'm a first time buyer and was really apprehensive about the process to apply for a mortgage and what I should be looking for but Carl handled everything and was really understanding with any questions I had. I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars because I think their inter-department communication could be improved slightly.
For example, when I closed the deal on my property I was told someone would reach out to me about the final payment. Since then someone else did reach out about a different topic and a reminder to pay the final fees but when I asked where I'm paying them in too I've not received any updates.
But this factor shouldn't stop you from going to Acumen, overall they were absolutely brilliant.

Since Before Christmas 2024 I had the amazing and relaxing experience of working with Paul Hodgson to get my mortgage sorted out. he explained everything and then broke things into simple terms so I could get a general idea and helped every step of the way helping me get my property.
