I paid good money back in November for a set of 25, 35, 45 lb plates. In February, they said they were issuing a refund. It's May, haven't seen any money.

Is there a class action lawsuit against these clowns?

I ordered two 45 plates and it’s now May and I’ve haven’t heard anything from anybody. Despite all my email and call attempts. So I’m just going to take you guys to small claims court like everybody else

You guys need to start sending people their money back or I’m going to call my lawyer if I don’t hear from you within the next week this is getting ridiculous!! You don’t reply back to the emails y’all just scams and I’m going to get to the bottom of this I’ve seen I wasn’t the only one that didn’t receive money back so I’m pissed and calling my lawyer I have your email claiming to refund me and my bank statements say otherwise so you better answer me because I’m done with these games

I order 10,25 and 45 plates and never received them got an email I will be refunded in feburary its April and still no refund. They don't reply to emails or answer the phone these people are a bunch of scams. Just send back people hard earn money dick heads.

I ordered a pair of 25 and two pairs of 10's in October. I eventually received my 10's in late January, but the 25's were shipped about the same time, but they were damaged on route and UPS claimed they were going to return them to the seller. I was supposed to contact the shipper for further instructions. That was right before AD4M went out of business, so when I contacted UPS and explained that the shipper was no longer in business, they informed me the plates were "destroyed". I did manage to get a refund from Paypal for the 25s (less shipping costs), so I feel somewhat satisfied with my experience, apart from the long delay. I got my 10s and a refund for the nondelivered 25s.

I learned a valuable lesson when dealing with unknown websites, buyer beware!

This bring me to the next part of my experience and the reason why I am posting my "story". I couldn't help but notice the AD4M website lists some recommendations as to where you can buy plates and in the middle of the usual companies, one little know site named barbellstandard.com stands out. I thought it was odd and when I clicked on the link and perused, I couldn't help but notice website looked very familiar in the layout. It left me with the impression AD4M is now BarbellStandard.

I placed an order on February 8th for two 45lbs never received. Got an email in March stating I would receive a full refund because they were closing. Emailed several times no response or refund. Tracey C

I placed an order in December 2020 for plates. I received several texts after that that the order would be sent out. I then received an email in February that this was the last and final email about the business closing. They claimed they would be working to sort out the refunds but it’s now the end of March and there’s been no communication and/or a refund. There’s no one that can be contacted apparently.

Never got the plates, still waiting for refund.. waste of money and I'm not sure I'll see that money ever again which is unfortunate

Great sob story again on the website this time. At least no more bull is up saying that they will give out returns by March. Because we all could guess that was a trash lie. Scam company that just likes to lie and cry about how hard it is for them.

0 stars. Every negative review sums up my experience. The positive reviews are all BS. These people are criminals and HORRIBLE liars. A few times I actually laughed at their responses, momentarily forgetting how badly I want to take a road trip to Wyoming and visit dear Vinny

Not a scam but I’d never use them again. I placed an order expecting it to take about a month to ship (at the time the company was saying it would be 2 weeks). After 6 weeks I messaged asking why it hadn’t shipped and they told me it would ship in 2 weeks. I waited another 3 weeks and asked again at which point they said it would be an additional 2 weeks. At the end of that two weeks I asked a final time and they told me that it would be at least another week so I emailed them and cancelled my order. When I emailed them to cancel they stopped responding for several days and then immediately refunded me when I opened a fraud investigation with PayPal. I’m a small business owner and I understand the pandemic has been rough but this was ridiculous.

Had my order cancelled after 3 months of waiting. Then, I got the email saying my order has been refunded. After a while, I still hadn’t received any of my money back so I contacted their support email and they told me to wait 5-10 business days. Still haven’t gotten that money back after that time. No emails, no nothing. Maybe that dude with the lil YouTube channel should post on why everyone in this reviews section isn’t getting their money back and when we should get it, rather than talking about why he hates the BBB.

Same as everybody else here, ordered 3 sets of plates. This scumbag wants to play games with peoples money, because he thinks he can get away with it. Unfortunately for him, there are still courts of law. I have begun a small claims case to not only retrieve my money, but other damages incurred. If you are interested feel free to reach out to me directly and get involved.

Would give zero stars if I could. I ordered plates on 11/26 and never received anything from them. I emailed a few times over several weeks to find out about the status of my order. I was always told that they were running behind, but that my order would be processed. On 2/12/21 I received an email that my order had been refunded. As of today, 2/27/21, I still have not seen the charge credited back to my credit card company. I am on the phone right now with my credit card to see about fraud.

Well I haven't heard nothing about my order #9331 I need my order or my refund from this order please let me know something

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I’m VERY angry with them. I had to BEG them to get my plates to me. I received them all on different dates when I was promised mid October. I still am missing more. I order in OCTOBER OF 2020. I can’t get ahold of them, they aren’t answering me AT ALL, they sent a message out saying they were doing refunds, but I haven’t seen anything. I was messaging them on social media, and they ended up deleting that as well.

Yes, they did the same thing to us. Posted a refund and spilt it into two refunds. One of the refunds was canceled. I reached out to PayPal and they denied our claim because the company gave us a small, partial refund. They are stealing money. I went back to PayPal and kept writing to customer service. They are investigating my claim and this company. I hope this review saves someone from losing money on weight plates or other merchandise.

Scam. Out 200 bucks. They supposedly tried to refund to PayPal but never completed it. The fact they kept their site up and taking orders after their last YouTube video whining about not being able to keep up is proof enough they were scammers. Any legitimate company would have stopped taking orders until they were caught up. Also charging up front and not when product is shipped when it's delayed is sketchy as he'll. Probably in Mexico living like kings.

Addendum, I think Jim M. is correct in pointing out the Barbellstandard recommendation from scumbag Vinny is just a retread of his old business.
