Really pleased with the company and the way the sale was handled. Steven Parkinson at the Catterall office was very helpful and I will certainly use their company again and recommend them to friends and family.

This is the second time I have had dealings with this company and I find them totally professional and honest. As an ex tutor in international sales and customer relations I find one of their valuers-Steven Parkinson exceptional, his interpersonal skills (which cannot be taught) are outstanding. Well done to you all.

Over the last two months, have sold items through three AP auctions.Overall we are very pleased with their operation, with a particular mention to Steven Parkinson at their Catterall office for his professionalism , advice and helpfulness, with regard the auctioning of my partners deceased fathers items.

Buyers beware this auction house has a more expensive in house packing service than mail boxes… this is for small unbreakables that can be sent in a Jiffy bag. If bidding be aware p&p is extortionate. Would give 0 if possible.

Failed to honor my winning bit, despite my account on their own website saying I had won following bidding live. Blamed an error and said the auctioneer had written someone elses name down. Very unhelpful when I called, I had to call back to follow up despite being told I would be called.
Vey disappointed they acted in this way when their own website told me I had won. Poor systems in place.

I have had a couple of experiences with the auction house in recent weeks, both in Liverpool and Knutsford and have had excellent, professional service from both. Stephen in Liverpool and his trusty collection team helped me take items from my father's home and Della in Altrincham helped with other items. Very happy with both offices. Clearing my father's possessions was especially hard and Steve was very reliable, giving good advice. Will definitely use them again.

Great service, went to my Catterall office for a free valuation and was met by a welcoming member of staff who made me feel at ease, he told me about my items including some historical facts which was great, i just decided to sell a couple of my items which was great because i watched the sale online, they fetched a lot more than expected and have just been sent my cheque, thank you i will be back with more items.

I recently won a lot at an auction held by Adam Partridge Auctioneers and the service I received was fantastic. I had a few questions about delivery etc and the man that answered the phone was very courteous and patient. He answered all of my questions and explained the process to me very well.

I received my invoice promptly and got a very fair postage price. The process was very smooth and easy to follow.

Many people are too quick to complain these days, with not enough people pointing out such great service!!

Well done to your team at doing such a great job in such difficult times.

Very poor service.

I bought two lots in December 2019 at one of their auctions, and was invoiced a few days later, including shipping, as requested.

I was then called in July 2020 to request I collect the lots. I dug back through my emails and found that I had paid for shipping, and my last communication with them was that the would arrange collection.

Having delivered my items 6 months late, they declined my request to refund my buyer's fees (approx. £10) due to the coronavirus lockdown (?!) and that I should've contacted them to chase them up.

The worst service I have ever received from an auction company in over forty years.I don't know why you say you have no record of me as I have had emails from you!

Organised a phone bid. They didn’t call me so I rang them three lots before and they still didn’t call me. They told me afterwards they couldn’t get through to me despite the fact I was holding my phone in my hand. I phoned my phone from another phone and my phone worked perfectly. I’m sure the person who was selling the lot would not be happy with the fact that the item was being undersold.

Purchased an item from this company a while ago now, bid on line through a commission based third party site, after winning the item I rang to ask if credit cards were accepted to which I was told no problem I then drove 85 miles the following day to collect, stood at reception desk for over 5 minutes without even an acknowledgement from the extremely sour faced receptionist who was sitting in front of desk looking directly at me whilst on the telephone. When she finally got off the phone and still with out any acknowledgement at all, swung her chair round and started talking to the other girl in the office about the conversation she had just had, only then after she finished did she then turn back to me to speak for the first time, so far my experience of this company was at best shocking but it became even better when I went to pay by card, to be told that they did not accept credit cards has quote "We keep getting ripped off by people cancelling if they find something wrong with the item" I explained I had rung and asked about accepting credit cards on the phone and I was told it was no problem, I was then told that "this wouldn't have happened", at this point I said that "I just felt like cancelling the order" to which I was then told "I had entered a legally binding contract and would have to pay" this left me two choices either cash (item purchased £349) or bank transfer, obviously I would not be carrying that kind of cash in my wallet so I paid by bank transfer there and then being made to feel like something at the bottom of their shoe, whilst standing in reception waiting for this totally unhelpful rude woman to see if the money had got to their account.
Adam Partridge Auctioneers have since blocked me from bidding on their auctions through The Saleroom, the fact that no management or senior staff members have ever tried to find out what happened that day and feel that I am somehow getting punished for giving a true reflection of their atrocious customer service is beyond belief, just remember "Arrogance is a kingdom without a crown" and that has brought a smile to my face
