Dave was incredibly helpful in resolving some technical issues I had with the latest update. He expertly explained all the new features in GroundsKeeperPRO that will streamline my routing and billing processes. All because I wanted a new registration number so I could change a few things in Company maintenance section.
The first thing they email me was their software license Agreement that over the years have changed but I was never informed of those changes, in that agreement they ask to send documents to verify that I am the person who purchased the software. When they could have just asked me to send documents to verify myself not sure why they do this since documents can be forge by anyone these days, they already have all my information so all they had to do was call me back with the number they have to verify it was me by asking for me. my business always answers the phone by saying hello you have reach and they say my business name
Then they wanted $25.00 to send me a new registration number. They say there cost to do that is more then that. the owner does this themselves and at most it would take 15 minutes of there time if that.
I have been using groundskeeper lite for 14 year and in 2019 I upgraded to groundskeeper pro because my business had grown a lot. Boy that was a big mistake, by me mostly because of covid I would rate the 7.1.3 pro from a 1 to 10 as a 7. It’s most likely some users rating will be higher and some lower. Seems to me everything cost you money with them. If it is a free upgrade, they don’t contact you in any form about the upgrade. I guess they expect all their customers to check up themselves. Then when you go to their site The major upgrades cost $ I never seen any updates on their site that where free but maybe I wasn’t looking at the right place on their site.
When I wasn’t getting any results, I said I guess I will have to write a review. This person assumed I was going to leave bad review and I was threatened with a law suit if I left a defamatory review. As you can see in some of the reviews hear they do the same thing with threats of lawsuit. I guess they call this good business relation. LOL
Over the years I have moved and phone numbers have changed, with the groundskeeper lite there was never a problem with changing those In Company maintenance section. But in order to change your address and phone or even the business name you have to pay for that now. And prove who you are. I guess they consider me as a person of piracy. I’m bad!
Their customer support well I think some of the other reviews already tell you. To me it’s all about the $ with them. Not their current customers. Just think they take customers complaints about problems with the software. Then they improve those problems then charge you for the upgrade for those problems and or improvements. Also, if you read the negative review, they always have an answer that benefit them without a real solution for you except to say if you don’t like it go with a different software and I guess a refund comes with that. So, to get rid of me they decided to send a refunding back for the software. So, I guess they believe I am the original software owner and not someone else trying to get something free from them or so-called piracy. I guess their thought is I would leave a negative review. It is really sad that instead of just sending me a new registration number so I could make changes in the Company maintenance section. They prefer to have me purchase a different software program and say goodbye. And hurt my business by doing this because I will have to re=enter all this info to a new software. Guess they consider that good customers relation and service. Yes, I was Pissed off when I go to bill a customer and was blocked from doing anything because I made changes to my company maintenance section. I was totally frustrated with their replies and did use the F---U word in response

I like to ad that their privacy policy states they will not give out person information yet they post my name here several times. And If they plan on giving the email conversion out to people who ask they will be doing it again because those email contain my address my business name my business po box. And my name

It is not my job to post the emails conversation here they have that opportunity to do that themselves. But they prefer you to contact them where they might give you false info by editing those conversations.
Its not over the $25.00. Its the fact that they changed the company maintenance section. To benefit them not ther customer. Lawn Services move and addresses changes, phone number changes. The rating of two is because of there customer service.

I have used "GroundskeeperPro" for many, many years. Upgraded as I changed computers, I have just loaded it on my 5th computer, that I can remember. I am NOT a "computer" guy, But, this is easy to use. and has worked great for me, I recommend it HIGHLY! I have never had to call for tech support until I needed to upgrade. If everything in computers was this easy it would be great!
As always the update goes as easy as possible, but I have trouble restoring all my old backups from previous versions.

ADKAD provides an effective and inexpensive software solution for lawn care, pesticide, landscaping, and hydroseeding firms. They continually improve their software and have added payment processing and Quickbooks integration recently.
If you are getting into the lawn treatment (pesticide) business... I STRONGLY recommend starting here vs spending $10K or more to start with someone else... I wish I did!

the download is not easily told how to do it after purchase. not sure why its $100 from 7.1.3 to this when 8.0 is free update. also still no group emailing set up where I have 18 sites that need billed on separate bills and it emails 18 separate emails instead of 1 so I cant use it

Fairly new to the software. Only few things so far I don’t like is so far seems there’s only one option for electronic payments and getting setup I’ve been waiting almost a week for a call back to setup. Can’t figure out how to print paid invoice for customers. But I’m also still learning the software. I wish there was phone app to be able to do estimates on the go. But overall seems to be a good fit for a onetime purchase.

Looks like a great product. I've been playing around with Quickbooks for years and all I want to do is invoice and keep track of jobs. I have an accountant for the rest. Quickbooks has a bad habit of the program not running well after the version has expired. Now, they want a yearly subscription! I am trying to keep our costs in check and this program purchase looks like it fits the bill!
