Unique, easy to use, powerful tool with lots of potential
I’m writing this review a few days after launch with no money in the market. I will try to update this once I have put real money on the line.
Purely as an analytical tool, Aesir answers a question I’ve had for a while: what if I had the time to refresh 500 pages a second to look at every ticker out there, decide which ones I wanted to buy down to specific conditions, and then sold them as soon as they hit their sell limit?
After just 2 days of messing around with Aesir, I’ve managed to find a configuration that consistently turned a profit for 24 hours.
You can quickly update and reset your trading strategies, let them run for a few hours in testing mode, see how they perform, and duplicate the features you like.
With the free version, you can only have one strategy simulating at a time. I think the additional concurrent strategies is the best part of the subscription and has made finding a working configuration far easier. When I finally find one I’m satisfied with, I’m still expecting different strategies to perform better on different days.
I realize a lot of people are skeptical. There are a lot of features I’d still like to see, but the developers have been responsive through their support system and social media. The launch day bugs are being squashed quickly, and I don’t doubt features will begin rolling out soon. Also, it’s free.
There are hundreds of thousands of day traders who do this open to close for a living. Yes, there are other scripts out there that you can run on your own machine. But, for the interface, server power, and customization, I hope this app expands its capabilities and is successful beyond the crypto space.
