This company met all my needs, in delivering a two day removal from London to a Highlands island. At the quotation stage, Fernando was personable, helpful, and up front with all costs, quickly providing a written, detailed quote itemising and costing everything. He happily acvommodated a change requested a few days before the removal date.
The removal team were professional, helpful, efficient and friendly. Everything happened on time, with care taken with all items. I felt it was a fair price for the excellent service, and being able to feel confident in the company throughout the process. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

It was the big day, a day i had been dreading for weeks but Fernando and Nish at Affordable moves changed my perspective of moving home in the best possible way their service was flawless from the moment they arrived until they left they were punctual kind and took care and consideration with our items to a very high standard.
Fernando had promised a smooth and stress free service Nish and his team certainly delivered and went above and beyond. They were also so fast and efficient. Fernando called to reasure me during the morning which was very kind as My son was taken ill the night before and i had spent all night in hospital i had an hours sleep and the affordable moves team lived up to their promise and took care of everything. From dismantling a large metal double bed frame which would not fit up the stairs in our new home to assembling it again in the bedroom i was incredibly impressed with how everything ran so smoothly without a single hitch everthimg was perfectly organised and everything ran to clockwork.
The only challenging thing for me on the day was attemptimg to get our dear cat into the cat carrier as we had all accpected took a while.

Nish also collected our sons drum kit 100 miles away and delivering it safely today he wrapped the drums in blankets to prevent them from gettimg damaged during the journey so considerate and kind!!
Affordable moves offer a 5 star service and i would 100% reccomend affordable moves to my family and close friends I will continue using their valuable service in the future.

This is a fantastic company. From my first contact with them they were helpful, professional and stayed in contact. The day of the move went very smoothly. The movers were friendly, efficient, strong and fast. Fernando and Nish were amazing.

Fernando was so helpful and reassuring (we were totally new to having people fully pack and move us) and made the whole organisational process really straightforward. The guys on the day were absolutely brilliant, super speedy, incredibly thorough and took so much care with all our stuff. We were so impressed. Amazing value, brilliant service, and handled our new road (where parking is an issue) admirably with the van. Plus, didn't mind how many boxes of books we had. Highly recommend them!

Affordable Moves
For moving house, Fernando was excellent when I enquired about the whole booking to move and payment process, flexibility to change the booking and the rates. He did not try to hide or add any extra charges for having to carry settees down stairs or any devious practices such as me having to pay before or during the move process. He said they would only take a 1 hour value deposit and invoice me the balance based on actual time taken. They did exactly that based on the form I was asked to sign after they finished the whole process (with the time noted exactly) and I paid online. Absolutely NO STRESS though the whole process.

The 2 man team arrived exactly on time at the Google pin location with a very clean looking large van as promised. They proceeded to calmly load the whole contents of a flat without slacking or taking any unnecessary risks with any of my contents. They strapped all the items securely. At the destination, they calmly unloaded and placed all the items after asking where I wanted them. There was no drama, nothing but calm and very polite service.

They were so good that I have already given their name to 3 other friends who need movers for settees to flat moves.

I would 100% recommend this company!! Fernando was great, contacted me immediately and provided me with a very competitive quote, all inclusive. Everyone was extremely professional and had great communication skills. I always knew what was happening and when, during the whole move day. Also offered great disassembly/assembly service. Overall an outstanding service, I would use them again!

They had a competitive quote and I decided to go with them as Fernando was so nice and helpful. Also, I didn't have to do an online form or an in person survey, just sent a quick video of my flat. The moving team were on time and loaded my things quickly, and I didn't have any damage, even to things like large fragile plants. Really efficient unpacking with everything put into the room it belonged in, and the dissembly/assembly service was great too. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move!

At our new address, they unloaded our stuff with the same speed and care and ensured that everything was placed in the correct room.

We were very impressed with this service. The movers arrived on time, moved our stuff efficiently and carefully and even finished earlier than was anticipated. I would recommend. A good service for a competitive price.

I had an absolutely atrocious experience with a moving service which thinks of itself as being fantastic (join the dots yourself - not hard, or see my other reviews) when at half past 5 on a Friday, the other movers cancelled a move booked for 10 the following morning, after 3 weeks notice. We were desperate, and without any time to spare in getting things done.

Enter the team at Affordable Moves and Transport Limited.

At 11 at night, the team at Affordable picked up the phone, took our info, and booked our move in... for the following morning, at 10AM. They showed up at 0940, as it went.

I've moved countries more than once - the gentlemen who came and did our move were consumate professionals, from start to finish. No bumps or drops. Nothing broken, nothing bent, nothing cracked. Just total professionalism.

When our dismantled bed had been placed in a bed bag, they had a bed bag on the truck into which they put our mattress.

Don't let the name put you off - these people are professionals who own their own trucks and employ their own staff, and they deliver a high standard of service, when asked in our case, at zero notice.

Thoroughly and highly reccomended. I will be suggesting them for our forthcoming office move, I was so impressed.

Wow what can I say , they were on time , professional and fairly priced. Had a issue when I thought my sofa would not fit through my front room door but they persevered and used all their skilled techniques to get the sofa in safely. Thanks again guys
