TERRIBLE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Surveyor turned up, measured and weighed my parents, took &£1925 deposit and told them it’ll be 4-6 weeks to fit it.
On the 4th week, we rang- they told us Surveyor said it is unsuitable, they would spend most of their time fixing it.
They didn’t contact us to advise us, and then we had to chase the refund of deposit. TERRIBLE customer service. I would not recommend

Firstly, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in processing the refund of your deposit. As our Customer Service Manager explained at the time, this was due to a genuine administrative error on our part, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
With regard to the suitability of the stairlift, reliability and safety are absolutely paramount to us, particularly with a product of this nature where the end user relies on the equipment every day. It is not something we can compromise on. Once the supplier reviewed the survey information, we were advised that the intended user was right at the cusp of the maximum weight capacity for the model in question. Because of this, we could not confidently guarantee the reliability of the product over time.
For that reason, we felt it was the responsible decision not to proceed with the installation rather than risk supplying equipment that may not perform safely or reliably for your parents. As soon as we were informed by the supplier, we communicated this and arranged for the refund to be processed.
We do appreciate your feedback and once again apologise for the frustration caused.

Chosing a stair lift
Nick the rep was not pushy and covered everything we wanted to know.He was very friendly. We previously came very close to buying a new Acorn stairlift from an Acorn rep. Nick showed us the advantages of a reconditioned Stannah one with all automatic features with the extention pole. The quality of the rail was much neater as was the chair. The price was better too. Nick was not pushy either.

Fantastic from beginning to end
Totally professional from beginning to end of dealing with affordable Stairlifts. From the salesman who first visited the house of my parents to the fitting. We knew which stairlift we wanted which made the experience easier as very straightforward but what they promised they delivered. Would totally recommend. Well priced and fair which was so welcome after experiencing some awful service from other companies.....

After a visit on Thursday from Steve Watson a stairlift was decided upon and fitting arranged for Saturday morning! Installation by Ryan was first class, caring attention shown to my Dad. Thanks everyone. He made it safely up the stairs last night without needing supervision.

Affordable Stair lifts are great when you're buying the stair lift. You pay extra for services and when you ask for an annual service they just keep hanging up on you. Very poor. I will never buy from them again.
