This was a very informative class. The information was relevant and the instructor were very knowledge and engaging.

It was constantly engaging while learning. I enjoyed the pace of the class and the interaction. It wasn't a heavy feeling, but more of a lightened approach to learning the course.

I loved the CSM class ran by Peter Saddington. There was so much extra material that wasn’t going by the book, very interactive and I learned to use the Miro board. I received some priceless advice that you’d never get from the book. It was eye opening.

Incredible trainers, very knowledgeable, and gives you the right amount of foundational theory before rolling into legit real-world application.

Overall, the instructor was average. I attended a course with Agile Bob several years ago and he really helped me revisit the importance of agility. This session with another instructor was somewhat disappointing. Why? I am glad you asked.
There were a few points that were either glossed over and/or not conveyed correctly. For instance, the instructor did not know the difference between capacity and velocity. When I mentioned the 2 terms, he indicated that he used velocity and capacity interchangeably and wasn't going to argue over semantics. There was another individual in the class who also felt passionate about differentiating between the two terms to accurately determine how much work can be completed within a given iteration. It was not discussed any further. Another example of why I rated this training session average was because the second day seemed rushed and a lot of basic Scrum concepts were either glossed over or never mentioned. For instance, the importance of small user stories and the importance of INVEST was mentioned in a brief 2 sentences. During the Retrospective session, the instructor did not cover the importance of identifying action items based on what the team deemed most important via dot voting or whatever the technique. These action items help the team continuously improve. Regardless, this class enabled me to obtain my CSM. Thanks!

It was a nice change of pace from other trainings were they are power point heavy. The interaction with those in the class is helpful in the learning process. It is also good to understand the why behind Agile and Scrum vs jumping right in with all of the concepts and teaching "you should be doing this".

Truly enjoyed the class. Was skeptical about the online format but Peter kept the class very engaging & used a variety of online collaboration tools, including Zoom breakout sessions and a Miro board. I loved picking up practical knowledge that easily transferable to other applications. I used all the study materials provided & passed the CSM first time through, no problem. Thanks a ton!

I enjoyed the course! I appreciated the insight that was on Product Owner as a whole, outside of Scrum itself. I think that more time could have been spent on product backlog and the different Scrum events. I appreciated the interactive breakouts, but was lost on Miro and even though I completed the prerequisites, I personally don't think there was enough background given on that, for how much it is a huge part of the interactive piece. The group really did help me out, and was happy to move me to the right spot and/or be the one to submit the notes for our group. I think using some of the resources now available after the course, at my own time, will be helpful for me.
I also took away some aspects on motivation that could work outside of work as well, like with my condo building!
I think the remote sessions worked well though, and I'm glad I took the course. Thank you!

Agile For All was very engaging. We all learned a lot and they were able to answer all of our questions during the engagement giving great examples.

I have enjoyed the training and feel I am learning a lot. I have learned to see things from a different perspective.

I recently took the A-CSM course from Agile For All, and due to the current pandemic, received the training virtually. I can’t say enough about how great this course was. Not only did I learn some incredibly valuable facilitation techniques, I learned how to do them both in person and virtually. I was continually impressed by how they kept the energy level of the group high and drew on practical experience to help us to relate to the material on a deeper level. Thank you, Tricia & Jake! I look forward to taking more training from you in the future!

Thanks for a great interactive class. I'd recommend the A-CSM class to everyone who wants to broaden their facilitation skills. This was also a great lesson in facilitating virtual events - hands on.

I really enjoyed the class. It felt like it was designed to be all remote. I learned a ton that I was able to quickly apply to my day to day job.

Great instructors, very knowledgeable. Also a very collaborative training that brought in real-world situations. Highly recommend.

Tricia did an amazing job of taking my facilitation skills to the next level with her powerful and engaging course. We were able to use hands-on activities to learn and expand our knowledge! We left with skills we could take back to our teams the very next day!

It was an engaging and fun course. The course energy kept your focus and attention virtually which is not an easy task.

I really enjoy this type of training and believe this is time very well spent. I like Richard and Peter a lot. They really have perfected their trade and used technology in a way that made this socially distanced training highly engaging. I’ve struggled to wrap my mind around Agile but felt the history they provided and the various sources that have created what Agile looks like today was very beneficial to establish a foundation for me. It gave me many ideas of small tweaks and changes I can personally make. I enjoy pushing my mind in this way.
I did however feel the portions covered late on the last day became rushed. I personally struggled to wrap my mind around developing a hypothesis and the tests to go along with it. I believe the subjects were so broad and the time so short I had difficulty slicing the topic down into manageable hypotheses within my own mind. I did not like how the training ended with us going off in groups (if we so choose) to apply Agile. Someone in the chat used the word dangerous and that is how I feel right now. I know enough to support a team who knows Agile but not enough to be on a team practicing Agile. I would have liked us to end this as these five case studies for now are examples and not something we should try to do in real life just yet. I feel we should have spent the last 20 minutes talking about where we go from here.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed your training and look forward to continuing!

I recently completed the Certified Scrum Product Owner training course taught by Richard and Peter. There was a lot of excellent practical knowledge and tools introduced throughout the two days. As someone that is also adapting to providing virtual collaboration tools for clients, I think the instructors did a great job in utilizing tools like Miro and Zoom breakout rooms to keep things engaging, and provide activities to work on with other participants. My only wish is that we had more time to cover more of the workbook in depth, but for the purpose of the CSPO, I feel like I learned a lot, and will be looking into advanced certifications in the future.

Peter and Bob are the best. I want them on my team!

I did not want to do a virtual classroom but was forced because of quarantine. The class had 17 people in it and I thought I'd get lost. I was mistaken. I felt included and empowered throughout the whole experience. Great curriculum, great instructors. Not only do I feel qualified to meet the responsibilities of a Product Owner, i also have the tools to continue to educate myself.
