I've been on the phone for one hour and twenty minutes and counting. It turns out my certification is worthless since I don't have experience and jumped in with a CCS. I passed first try. The testing center was scary bad. The personnel, some, not all, are not smart. One women decided if I wrote in my book too much and could take the test... or not. A you-want-fries with that kind of person. Yikes!
No one will hire me for coding without experience. I see so many bad reviews elsewhere for AHIMA. Over an hour wait, going on 90 minutes and counting is unacceptable. At this point I just want to see if they answer.
Previously I asked a question via email. They didn't answer and tried to see me a membership, again. Boo!
