Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Mr Batt and his team. Excellent service from all, from start to finish. I sold my first home, they made the process so easy. I even got an extra £5000 on the sale of my home. Highly recommend, definitely would use their services again.

Alan and the team were great from start to finish. Alan was very informative during the evaluation process and his team supported me throughout the selling process. My house was sold very quickly and at a price I was happy with. Would go to Alan again for any future sales.

Literally impossible to get hold of this company. How you supposed to buy a house when you can't get hold of them 3 days in a row. Not the first time we have given up trying to view a house with this company

What was meant to be a happy day turned into a nightmare, I waited around all day for completion.. my solicitor explained the hold up, then the estate agents lied to me and tried to blame my funds being the hold up which wasn't true, finally a late completion but then the estate agents didn't even have the keys. Luckily enough the vendor dropped the keys of to me at 8pm after a whole day waiting! I sent an email with my complaint and I feel like I've been fobbed off, there's always an answer as they are never wrong. I certainly won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend Alan Batt Estate Agents, Lisa and her colleagues have gone the extra mile in the sale of my property in what are very testing times.
Of personal note has been the level of communication, the polite honesty and the good humour.
The whole experience has been totally professional, there have been setbacks (out of the teams control) , but again the Lisa and her colleagues took this in their stride to get me to completion.
Thank you again and wish all of team at Alan Batt good health and all the best for the future.

Very Poor communication and Greed comes to mind. Would not recommend this Company. Had offer accepted on a Property then rang me asking me to increase my offer. Was then informed by my Solicitor the Vendor had pulled out of the sale, 6 Days later Alan Batts asked if I wanted to proceed with the purchase which I declined. Very Poor Practice.

Property sale handled very professionally. All first class, from initial valuation and advice through viewing arrangements to final sale at asking price. A great company to deal with.
Would highly recommend.

Fantastic company I had the privilege working for them. Very professional , hard working and they go above and beyond to help there clients. Would highly recommend them as an estate agents and also they are a great company to work for. Sadly I had to leave due to other commitments but would go back in a heart beat.

I cant thank Luke and the team enough for there excellence in selling my mothers house, They have lifted a big weight off me and my sisters shoulders with how they have dealt with matters, Regular updates and kept us informed throughout the process,I will be moving myself later on in the year and wouldn't hesitate in using them again,

Very dissapointed with the service provided by Alan Batt. We agreed a fee with them at the start of the process and on completion they sent our solicitor an invoice for a higher amount. Back in August 2018 they took £140 to do our EPC to assist with the house sale. In January our solicitor phoned us to say it had expired in November and on questioning Alan Batt, they said they had forgotten to renew it. This delayed the sale. Finally on completion day they phoned us to say the funds had been received and technically we needed to be out of the house. I phoned our solicitor about this and she hadn't notified Alan Batt and said they were wrong to do this. I personally feel that the whole process of selling a house in England needs revising as there is uncertainty right up until the final day. I would however query what estate agents really do for their money. We certainly expected more and a better service.

Jane and the team at the Wigan branch did a great job and worked extremely hard throughout the process of my first house purchase. It was an especially complicated sale, but they were able to sort everything. When I’m ready for my second home I’ll definitely use them again.

Rude, argumentative and incompetent employees that are unaccountable for their actions. Very hard to arrange viewings. Viewings are often arranged alongside other buyers which seems quite unprofessional. I am aware of sellers that have used Alan Batt finding it hard to communicate and Alan Batt disregarding their opinions. The tone of the staff and the way that I have been spoken to (akin to dirt on their shoe) is disgusting. This is made even worse as this culture of rudeness is supported by Alan Batt himself. If I could put negative stars I would.

Alan Batt estate agents are superb, their presentation, enthusiasm and attention to detail are second to none. Selling or letting in Wigan - they are the ones to use.
