I need gardening and handy work, and a friend found this site for me. I put in an ad with my task description. The responses I got were with a different website, so I didn’t click on any of those links. I got one phone call through the ad. I figured it was a good test task as it was for simple gardening and hand weeding, with lots of bulb plant trimming. I was told by the person who called me that he was good at gardening. However, he showed up unprepared, with no tools or yard waste bags, and by himself when he’d said he’d have an assistant. He did a terrible job. He asked for more money than I’d agreed to. Thankfully, after under three hours of a full day's job, he left. I was glad because he was pulling my bulbs and plants up by the roots instead of trimming them. He put yard waste into kitchen trash bags which overflowed onto my driveway. He was "trimming" trees by breaking off branches by hand, not with tools. When I saw this, I corrected him. Then this guy said he was done or nearly done twice or more, when he was less than halfway through the full task and the work he had done was very poor. I didn't want him ruining my trees and bushes so I finally said enough. I paid him, but when he asked if I wanted him to come back I said no thank you. This is per All Star Pros, as they gave him my information (phone number and address), so it’s obvious they must not have screened him.

All I wanted was a mailbox post to be replaced. I got directed to Angie's List and some yahoo from J&J Construction. Who also seemed to turn out to be Mobile Handyman. And there were other names. I called, got someone who acted very unprofessionally. I gave them my info. He gave me a quote. I agreed. Said he could the post installation that week. Never heard back. I got a hold of a dedicated outdoor mailbox service. And Homeadvisor/Angie's List has fallen off a cliff service wise. I used to have good results. Not anymore!!

ZERO STARS!!!! Like other reviewers I needed a minor bathtub repair.... within a single second of hitting send on my request I was inundated with calls from companies who DID NOT do bathtub repair but wanted to sell me a whole new bathroom! In fact, I did not receive a single call from a company who does bathtub repair. Even their response e-mail, letting me know they had received my request, was incorrect- listing my project as gutter guards! When I e-mailed them to tell them how unhappy I was, I got NO RESPONSE. USER BEWARE!

Don't waste your time. I tried to get a quote on a simple bathroom project (tub refinish, which it says they do on their website). They kept trying to sell me a new bathroom: "We'll take everything back to the studs..." They will push you to expand your project and won't ever quote what you asked for.

I am a contractor and signed up with the company Networx. I then received a lead which I was told no one else had and reached out to the woman. She let me know that she had been spam called by over 30 companies and that she had gone through All Star Pro. I had never even heard of them, and my guess is they take people's information and sell to other shitty companies like Networx and Angie. Stay far away.

If I could leave Zero stars, I would. I took a day off work to accommodate the 10 hour window that was given in which a technician would repair my broken washing machine. I was basically held hostage all day long waiting for someone that would never show. I called four hours into it just did some call center could tell me that it would be "sometime today" after wasting my entire day off, I called and cancelled just 30 minutes shy of my 10 hour window. This is the worst excuse for a company. I never leave reviews, but this one fired me up. 0 stars and I hope this awful business goes under.

Sharon on the phone was awful and flat out rude…hung up on me when I was just trying to ask a simple question that she couldn’t answer…called back and she kept hanging up.

Really? Where is that form? 3-4 links to Call for Quote and reference to a quick form for quote but No Form and NONE of the drop-down links take you Anywhere!

AVOID. Based on rude people who clearly do not care about you or the job they want to do for you. I filled out online to see cost to resurface my tub or should I buy a new one.The call came in immediately from 404 area code so she was local to me. SHe was rude abrupt and when I said I only wanted an estimate to determine if I wanted a quote to resurface my tub or replace it, she hung up on me. Like most these days, Im a busy person.I never take time to leave reviews but she was so rude.. I called her back to say you hung up on me and then she says they only replace tubs . I said then why does it say on your website you give estimates to resurface or reglaze tubs? She said Ill check into it and call you back and then hung up on me again. I couldnt believe it. The fact is my master bath is a total gut job, Im still looking for a contractor and I live on Lake Lanier so my place is not a dump. This could have been a big job for them. Based on her rude, ugly behavior.. I wouldht hire this company if they offered to do the work for free.There has to be better options out there than this company.

Do NOT use this company. They are a go-between. They will simply send your data to Angi's list and you will get dozens of calls from people who don't even do Fencing as their main business.

All-Star pros is a scam company. Do not use I repeat do not use. They only refer contractors and then the contractors charge you a $300 service fee that is not deducted from your repairs. All-Star pros advertises that they do not charge a diagnostic fee. They are liars. They are not to be trusted save your money and go directly to the contractor of your choice, do not use this service. Please save your money and go to reputable contractors. And always get a second opinion and also always check the reviews of any service provider that you choose to use. This will save you from spending money unnecessarily.

No call back , service sucks and can’t reach anyone after multiple emails

Now my phone rings off the hook because these scummy people sold my number. They should be taken offline immediately!

The company they connected me with shamrock chimney called and canceled my appointment twice. They were unprofessional and blamed me for not being flexible when I was completely willing to reschedule the first appointment however after this second cancellation I was not willing to reschedule with a company that was willing to constantly cancel on me prior to me even being a customer I can only imagine the nightmare the customers of shamrock chimney have of getting service since they constantly cancel on people. I highly recommend staying away from both of these businesses!

This company sold my information to many companies including Leaf Gaurd and Gutter Guard, as well as numerous roofing contractors. Buyers beware I would not submit any information on their website and definitely not use a company like this. Thankfully I pay for blocking software so finally got rid of them. They say they are landscaping and I just wanted leaf blowing. Never heard from this company, just 20 others calling and texting.

I filled out the All Star Pros form and got a call back from a local contractor who scammed me out of a $277 deposit for a broken window. He had one excuse after another and never did finish the job. I asked for a refund of my deposit and said "no worries". That was a month ago and still no refund. His name is Jesse Banning. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR.

What a bs company that sells your personal information and provides incorrect information to contractors. I just now had to block incoming calls from people not on my contact list on my cell phone due to this nonsense.
