DO NOT USE. Impossible to return goods. Requested a return, told to wait 3 days for the the request to be approved. Chased and told would have within hour. Now they are not responding to me via emails or their contact form and I’ve tried calling them and requesting an English call, told someone will call back. So far nothing

Like other reviewers have said, returning shoes ordered via their website is a nightmare. I am currently trying to return 2 pairs of shoes that don't fit. I opted for the "easy return" process on their website, where you're supposed to receive an rma number and returns label, plus some custom forms for outside EU orders, but I have received nothing. Have emailed them for the last 2 weeks repeatedly, but there has been absolute silence from their end. Soon the window for returns will be over, and I won't be able to return the shoes for a refund.
I will now have to try and get my money back from my bank via VISA Chargeback.

Habe soeben meine Bestellung von Altra bekommen. Schuhe sind top. Alles ist wie angegeben.
Mit den kosten für die Retoure und auch dass sie aus Italien gekommen sind, war mir schon bei der Bestellung klar. Steht alles auf der Internetseite.
Die Bestellung wurde schnell verschickt, hat jedoch etwas gedauert. 7 Tage sind zwar nicht lang, aber auch nicht mehr so üblich. Das lag aber an UPS.
Ich kann also ohne schlechtes Gewissen die Bestellung auf der Internetseite empfehlen.

Terrible customer service, the size doesn't meet conventional sizes, I went to get an exchange and all sizes were sold out so I had no choice but to return. They charge you £13 for a return and then take an extra 20% off for VAT. In total I've lost £40 due to them not having stock. DO NOT USE!

Ich habe Schuhe direkt bei Altra bestellt. Per Rechnung über Klarna. Schuhe gingen wieder zurück. Retourebestätigung ging per Mail bei mir ein… seither warte ich nun 2 Monate auf die Retourenbestätigung von Altra bei Klarna. Trackingnr. Liegt vor und zeigt zustellung bei Altra! Da treffen zwei Spitzendienstleister aufeinander. Service fürchtlerlich!!!! Keiner will sich kümmern, auch der Kundenservice von Altra nicht. Bin sehr gespannt, ob ich noch einen Anwalt für die Angelegenheit brauche! Völlig unnötig. Würde ich niemals weiterempfehlen!

Altra running’UK’ is in fact in Italy. Had I realised this I would have gone to a shop. When my trainers finally arrive they are small for a 6.5 so I return them following the written instructions carefully. This is not enough and now my parcel is stuck at customs. Altra Italy isn’t helping except to send downloads that are just titles. Now how do I get my refund?

Cette marque sympa au début cède peut à peu aux sirènes du commerce avec quelques entorses à sa philosophie initiale. Les drops des runnings augmentent et les footshapes rétrécissent. Je sais bien qu'il faut s'adapter au plus grand nombre mais comment choisir ses chaussures maintenant surtout si l'on veut rester fidèle à la marque. Dommage ! Pour éviter les retours produits l'utilisateur fait des compromis et s'adapte. Anecdote: je bourre mes runnings de chiffons pour les élargir ..... pas terrible !
Première sortie avec les Experience Flow peu concluante. Troisième déception après dix paires d'ALTRA achetées.

I received a pair of Altra running shoes with EGO Max cushioning as a gift from a friend about a few months ago. These shoes have proven to be an excellent choice for me, particularly because I have wide feet and sensitive toes. The design and fit of Altra shoes cater specifically to individuals like myself, who require additional space in the toe box for comfort during runs.

Prior to using Altra, my experience with running was primarily barefoot, which limited my knowledge of various shoe brands and their offerings. However, after trying the Altra EGO Max shoes, I quickly recognized their benefits and found them to be highly suitable for my needs. This positive experience led me to purchase another pair of Altra shoes a few weeks ago.

In summary, my journey with Altra running shoes has been overwhelmingly positive, and I have no regrets about transitioning from barefoot running to utilizing these specialized footwear options.

The fit is alright, although they aren't as wide as they claim to be. Instead, the cover material tends to be very soft, too soft even, and although this can accommodate wider feet, it also makes one slip on the sole, which means your toes will be squashed.

The shoes don't last, and considering that, they are madly expensive. Weeks to months and a toe may poke through a hole, or a seam opens up, or worse, the entire shape of the shoe gives in / collapses, and leaves one with no support, slipping on overly soft rubbery soles.

The zero-drop sole would make sense, but the rubber material is so soft usually, that, because most of the body weight is carried on the heel of the foot, one constantly stands on a slope, facing slightly uphill. This can strain the achilles tendon immensely and is most unsuitable for running.

I have tried to contact Altra various times via their website. The customer service is appallingly rude and does not reply at all in most cases.

It's a nice concept, but overall, it's a terrible execution in every aspect that matters.

Auch wenn ich Altra Schuhe wirklich sehr mag, ich werde ganze sicher nie wieder bei Altra direkt bestellen. Ich habe meine Lieferung nie erhalten. Mein Geld bekomme ich auch nicht zurück. Der Customer Service hat den Namen nicht verdient. Rückfragen werden ignoriert und nicht beantwortet! Bestellt eure Altra Schuhe besser bei Retailern. Da habe ich jedenfalls noch keine schlechten Erfahren gemacht.

Ich liebe Altra Schuhe, doch mittlerweile haben viele Modelle Qualitätsprobleme und Altra kennt sich anscheinend nicht mit den EU-Regularien aus. Sie verweigern eine Reparatur oder einen Austausch des Schuhs. Ich habe ihn nur 6 Monate getragen und das Material wies schon Risse auf. Das darf nicht passieren. Ich werde keine Schuhe mehr bei Altra direkt bestellen, sondern nur noch bei anderen Händler. Unmöglicher Support!

Great shoes, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible customer service.

I use the Altra Escalante's, which are great shoes, but in trying different ones out, I returned a pair to them, and it literally took multiple months and many, many contact attempts to get my money back.

I would rate the shoes 5/5 and the customer service/company 0/5 if I could.

Toutes sont confortables. Rien à redire.
Toutes sont d'une qualité déplorable. Au bout de 20km, la semelle commence à faire la tronche.
50km, il n'y a plus de semelle.

Altra rogne sur la qualité pour obtenir toujours plus de marge commerciale. Alors que franchement, la marge est déjà ENORME.

Bref Mon dernier achat en date (Les Vanish Carbon 2), m'ont fait retourner vers les valeurs sûres... que tout le monde connait.

Je ne conseillerai plus jamais Altra, qui sacrifie la sécurité et la santé de leur utilisateurs au profit de leurs marges.

Et heureusement, je n'ai jamais payé plein pot un de leur produit.

Very bad customer service. I ordered pair of Altra Olympus 6 shoes. The quality of the shoes was horrific. There were multiple loose threads but the worst part was poorly glued shoe soles. I contacted customer service and made complain about manufacturing fault. Customer service's replies were some copy pasted texts which did not answered my complaint. It took almost 4 weeks and ten emails before I got answered. Now I have to send the shoes back and wait for my money to be transferred back to my account.

I have big shoe size and it was very difficult to find that size of Altra Olympus 6. Now the whole process must be restarted because Altra won't send me new pair of Olympus 6.

Altra sends me shoes which are very poor quality. Then I have to fight with them about 4 weeks to have the right to return unused new shoes. Then send shoes back and wait for 3 weeks for my money. And then I can try to get new pair of them.

This has been a very bad joke. Never again.

Ich habe dreimal bei Altra bestellt und jedes Mal sind meine Schuhe innerhalb kurzer Zeit geliefert worden. Einmal gab es eine Verzögerung, die an UPS lag und nicht an Altra. Die Laufschuhe selber sind alle top. Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden. Dass man die Schuhe nach Italien zurück schicken muss und das selber zahlen muss steht in den Bedingungen. Die sollte man eben lesen. Mir ist es außerdem noch nie passiert, dass ich mit der Größe daneben greife. Als jahrelange Läuferin kenne ich meine Schuhgröße.

he usado prácticamente todas las marcas del mercado, sin dudas las mas cómodas pero han sido las de peor calidad que he llegado a tener.
Tan solo 2 meses y ya se nota un desgaste muy prematuro de los materiales.

I would leave zero stars if possible. I got my shoes in an appropriate time, but when it came to my refund, I'm still waiting. They said they returned my money over a month ago but I've yet to see it. I have contacted them several times and they keep telling me lies. Melissa continues to tell me she will get ahold of the returns department and get back with me but again, I'm still waiting. They got their shoes back that had never been worn. They simply didn't fit. They are thieves. Do not buy from this company!

Avoid this company, it is the worse experience you will face if you need to contact the customer service. They will reply with formatted messages and not help you solving any of your queries.
