Amazon as usual came up trumps
I tried to purchase an Air fryer oven direct from
Cookology but for some reason they don't deliver to
all parts of the UK.
I did explain to them that the Isle of Wight is in the
UK and Royal Mail charge no extra, but they didn't seem
to understand this. I don't think they actually know where the Isle of Wight is!
Thankfully in the end I was able to purchase the same
air fryer on Amazon website and Amazon deliver in the whole of the UK and delivery was even free of charge.

Frustrated buyer
On 20th November I ordered a roll of Bubble Wrap (204-2343009-4809127) from Amazon and the supplier was The Posting Box. My parcel never arrived and after chasing the Seller, Evri and finally phoning Amazon, I got a refund. My order is now showing as undeliverable.
On 9th January 2026 I ordered a roll of Bubble Wrap (205-9571825-3827523). My parcel never arrived and after chasing the Seller, Evri and finally phoning Amazon, I got a refund on 22nd January.
This morning I received a grey plastic bag, delivered by Evri, from the Posting Box.
Inside the bag was a delivery note from Posting Box. My order on Amazon is now showing as Delivered today 'Parcel left in Letterbox'. I would love to know how they think they can leave a Europe Large Roll of Bubblewrap in the letterbox.
This order has not been delivered and should not show as such on Amazon

I had contacted Toshiba to find out if a TV has 4k. Answer from Toshiba no it doesn't have 4k. I had contacted Amazon about this they told me they would remove the TV from their list and change the details which they haven't. The model number of the TV is Toshiba 40" LV2553DB Full HD Smart VIDAA TV, HDR. As far as I'm concerned this is false advertising.
Terrible
I have been with Amazon prime for a number of years and always had a good experience but lately it’s been terrible. I’ve had orders cancelled 2 stops away. I have ordered and it’s said will be here the next day 3 days later never arrived. I order a lot from Amazon that’s is why I pay for prime. Now I am seriously thinking of cancelling my prime. I had to cancel my last order has it was never going to arrived has the date had been changed 3 time
The delivery instructions were not…
The delivery instructions were not followed at all. I opened the building door for the driver through the intercom, but instead of bringing the parcel to my flat door as requested, they forced it halfway into the communal mailbox, leaving it sticking out exactly as shown in the picture. Anyone could have taken it or it could have fallen out. Very careless and unprofessional delivery. This is not the first time instructions have been ignored, and it’s really disappointing.
This is, I don't know how many times I made a complaint regarding delivery!

“Missing order and refused refund – unacceptable service”
This experience with Amazon has been unacceptable.
My order has been missing since Sunday. Despite contacting Amazon daily, I am repeatedly passed between agents, made to explain the situation from the beginning each time, and told to call back again the next day. There is no ownership of the issue and no meaningful progress.
Amazon has refused to issue a refund or a replacement for an item that has not been delivered. Under Section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be delivered within the agreed time, and if delivery fails, the retailer is responsible and must provide a refund or replacement. Customers should not be left out of pocket while a company delays action.
For a company of Amazon’s size and reputation, this level of customer service is unacceptable. A missing delivery should be resolved promptly and in line with UK consumer law, not prolonged with repeated contact and no outcome.
Due to the lack of resolution, I am now forced to escalate this matter further.
Awful customer service
Amazon messaged my phone to say that access was being requested by a new device. I denied the access request and logged on to my Amazon account to find the 2x £50 gift vouchers had been purchased. I started a support chat and during the chat noticed that a 3rd £50 voucher had just been purchased by my account. I told the operator who said they were unable to do anything for 48 hours. No help or any advice offered. It took me an hour to delete my debit card, sign out of all devices and change password.
I am 72, unfamiliar with technology and am completely stressed, now worried if my bank account has been compromised.

Ignoring Delivery Instructions
Normally I have no trouble with Amazon, but I ordered a Vacuum Cleaner with specific instructions that it was to be left in the Garage.
It was left outside the Garage in pouring rain, and in the suppliers cardboard box, with a picture of a vacuum cleaner on it. Fortunately, it wasn't stolen, but the box was sodden, and fell apart when I attempted to pick it up. 1/10
Items cancelled
Made an order which was on special offer. Thought it was a really good deal. Too good to be true because the seller kept saying sorry about the delay on delivery. Eventually they cancelled the order without explanation. But they still sell the product on amazon. Trying to contact them is so hard. Amazon is no help at all. And I am a prime member. Amazon make it difficult to make a complaint or even enquire about anything.

AMAZON - Dodgy practices?
I ordered 'Lazarus: The Second Coming of David Bowie' for delivery on 2 January and receiving a message that it had been delivered at 8.53 pm that evening.
This afternoon I collected the package only to find that it was nothing more than an empty A3 envelope.
The packaging hadn't been tampered with and the A3 envelope was completely flat and had clearly never had anything placed inside it.
The address label is stuck on at an angle and the flap has been stuck down over the top corner of the label.
The weight is shown as 0.66 Kgs
I contacted Customer Services but they were no help at all and the bot kept showing that the package had been delivered. The package isn't the problem, the missing book is.
Anybody else had this happen with their orders?
Is this Amazon not being able to fulfil my order but sending empty packaging anyway so that their stats will record a delivery on 2 January as promised?
Seems very dodgy.
NB: Please disregard the one star. That's only so I can post a review. That got no stars on this occasion.
Serious data-protection issue – returned item sold as new
I've ordered a product from Amazon UK that was advertised and sold as new. When it arrived, the item was visibly damaged and labelled as returned stock.
More concerningly, the packaging contained a label showing another customer’s full name and home address, originating from a different Amazon marketplace.
This meant I was unintentionally given access to someone else’s personal data, which is deeply worrying and unacceptable from a company of this size.
I have raised this formally with Amazon and reported it to the relevant data-protection authorities. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Amazon’s quality control and data-handling standards.
One star because this should never happen.
